Went to Thorpe Park last night.

Here: Why are you trying to trick me out?

I was running No Limits 2 in the rain on some coasters, and the coasters seemed to run faster, like they do in real life in the rain. Does anyone know if the weather conditions affect the way the coasters run?

Just wandering if the TPR park archive is still adding new TR's to it's collection, and how do you get TR's in there if it is?

Thorpe park still says it will open in May.

To me, I live in England, where there are not many coasters with good amounts of air time at all. Only small pops, like Saw's airtime hill or really mild airtime on 13. The best in the UK, has to be the drop on Oblivion, which is insane! However, last summer I went to Liseberg and I was amazed at what real air time feels like. Helix with the numerous ejector moments, Kanonen with the very intamin like twisty hills, Lisebergbanan had some great floater moments, but there was one ride which stood out, and I guess you can tell, it is Balder. Never have I felt so much like a rollercoaster hated me and wanted to throw me off. I rode first at the start of the day at the front, which was just floaty heaven, but at the end of the day, I braved the back once the track had really warmed up. Wow, that was the most insane persistent and constant ejector airtime I have ever had. It never lost its momentum and used that to get epic kick a$$ airtime to the very last hill. Incredible!

Yes, this is not the year to be a celebrity. Ever since the end of 2015, it seems as if the Gods are raging down on celebs. So sad.

I reckon this rattle in the new coasters is simply because they are pushing the boundary's as to what the B&M trains and track can withstand. The older B&M's are slower and not as large, meaning they will not vibrate/rattle.

I saw this and it pi$$ed me off massively! It was just a normal emergency stop. What do the media want?!?! If it had not stopped, it may have had serious accident, the ride was not broken down, just a safety precaution. Can I put this in the 'stupidest things the GP have said' thread! They are just looking for a story, and if it was at any other park but Alton Towers, they would not say anything. I just hope the GP know how stupid this article is.

To make it worse, they end up taking over the world and force everyone to ride SLC's at least once a day or else they will kill you (most people end up getting killed within a month!) Does anyone have a clue as to when this is going to open? Thorpe park really need to give an opening time as soon as possible.

That actually looks pretty decent. What did you do once you arrived? And did you feel sea sickness?

Looks compact, but I do not thing it will be much of a negative G ride, more positives.

To make it worse, they add a selection of unpopular flat rides. Derran Browns Ghost train does not open.

My guess is that it is to smooth guests and preserve the ride long term. I mean, if even RC enthusiasts are creeped out, think on the GP

Urgh!!! It really annoys me when people make articals like this when they have no clue what they are talking about. I mean, where is Balder, Expedition G force and how can desperado be better than Helix!
