  1. Joe has his own show on Food Network? Oh goodness, I can't wait for more of your fun with The Sims.
  2. The mock stock market activity I did in my high school Economics class didn't turn out as good as I hoped. I "invested" in McDonalds, Anh.-Busch, and Nintendo. I ended up losing around 400 dollars in that activity. So, I guess I wouldn't be that good of an investor...
  3. ^Nope, nothing for 2008. If anything, it would have been basically confirmed in CF's general press release for their parks. Maybe something in 2009. A rumor floating out there, though doubtful, is a B&M Hyper out in the woods near Beast.
  4. Having fun with your keyboard, Axman? Anyways, for me, it will have to be Gwazi. Busch let a decent woodie go to firewood because of its crazy jackhammering and mediocre capacity. Like I've been saying for a while and Robb in the recent FL update, "Millennium Flyers... PLEASE!"
  5. That's odd, the new press release says 16 trains instead of 12 trains. I'm still thinking that adding two family coasters in two consecutive years is kind of odd for Knott's. As long as Pony Express delivers in thrills, I guess. But did CF have to use horrible puns in their press releases? Ugh.
  6. Nice FL update. Too bad I never have time to visit the awesome parks that are less than 2 hours away from me.
  7. Glad Earthquake! is getting some TLC. I don't expect much in changes aside from more explosions and possibly a cornier pre-show. But hey, Earthquake is fun to go on once in a while. Maybe not an E-ticket ride, but still fun.
  8. Nerds of the world, start penning your fanfiction.
  9. Great shots there Will, I remember that near collision on the Raven brake run and on Phantom's Revenge.
  10. No. Have you ever ate lobster before?
  11. ^^kraxle, Psyclone? While its nice X is getting some more TLC, I'm surprised Shapiro is pouring money into this ride. Wasn't X as much of a mechanical nightmare as the Deja Vu clones were?
  12. Last year I thought Ted's applet was pointless since I've only been on like, 3 woodies beforehand. After the Midwest Trip, I have a bunch of new wooden credits and now Ted's application is the fastest way of doing things. My top woodies are still Voyage and The Beast. Oh goodness, am I turning into an ACEr?
  13. 23/25 for me. Another well-done quiz!
  14. I'm surprised Casey hasn't yelled "Less Is More," at all of us yet.
  15. Six Flags over Georgia - Days Inn (Austell, GA) I haven't stayed there, but I've stayed at the Wingate Inn next door (which is quite nice and I got a park side room). Anyways, the Days Inn looked ghetto, and TN has a topic like this on their forums. Basically, it is the definition of a ghetto hotel where I've heard people had cops pull in on a consistent basis, funky smells, and a lot more. Busch Gardens Africa The hotels on Busch Blvd. are definitely hotels that have seen better days. The location is also not the greatest. If you want a GOOD hotel near BGA, stay on Fowler Ave. There's an Embassy Suites, Best Western, LaQuinta, and Wingate Inn (that look nice) within 2 miles of BGA and I'm sure those hotels have shuttles to the park.
  16. ^There was, but it has been expired. I did dig up the link a few weeks ago in that Chinese Dive Machine topic about Busch's deal. Even though the article needed fact checking, it was the only legit article I could find. Again, Shapiro says "You'll be seeing less Goliaths," while he was at SFOG during Goliath's construction. It doesn't mean they will stop building big rides, but they won't be building big rides every 2-3 years.
  17. From Calvin and Hobbes (and a kind soul on the SomethingAwful forums), I present you... T-REX'S IN F16S!
  18. ^^They have taken out the Deja Vu bit. Either Six Flags over Georgia is keeping Deja Vu or the park really wants to distance itself away from that ride. Odd. The ride page is still up though. http://www.sixflags.com/overGeorgia/rides/DejaVu.aspx
  19. "Even Flow" - Pearl Jam
  20. Deja Vu at SFGAm was my first "Boomerang" type coaster. I'll be missing the coaster that got my "Boomerang virginity." I still have yet to ride the original Boomerang, but at least I got the Deja Vu and the Invertigo credit (nerr to you Casey and Erik ).
  21. So basically, this is the BMW Isetta of the 21st century? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMW_Isetta Dude, your better off just getting a decent car under $5000 like an older Honda Civic or something. Think of the future in mind, because I know well that one of these days you'll be driving Interstate, especially if you live in Tampa. Again, don't get a smart car.
  22. When did I go to CGA? Great TR, Gumball. And Max, you have too much fun with Penguino...
  23. The Tooth Fairy is a hermaphrodite.
  24. God that night was very drenchy. All I did that night was catch up on sleep. But the lightning was insane. Although I do remember having a stupid convo with Wes fakely interested going "Thunderstorms... IN FLORIDA?" or something like that. Eh, storm night was fun in a way.
  25. I went to KI back in August and all of the Paramount stuff was 60% off. Lets just say I treated myself to a few T-shirts.
