I thought Raven was a lot of fun. I figured it was short, judging by the length it's listed as [just over 2,300 feet I think], but for all the hype and the "#1 Coaster from 2000 -> 2003" things that were spouted about it, I was just expecting a bit more than a "lot of fun". However I did really like it, and there were a couple of moments of crazy air. I just didn't think it was top-10 worthy

While BGA had Shiekra, Montu, Kumba and Scorpion [and Rhino Rally!], I didn't find the park to be nearly as nicely themed. This isn't to say it's bad. The theming for the most part is very nice and they stay true to the African theme throughout the park. However, BGE has absolutely amazing theming, everything just looks to fantastic and everything blends in exceptionally well. Add to that Alpengeist, Big Bad Wolf, and to a lesser extent Apollo's Chariot and Loch Ness Monster, plus have a nice wide variety of great food, and it wins by just a little bit. But uh I really loved both parks.

Those signs are AWESOME! And some of the pictures turned out really, really good. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks Opa! was terrible. After our first ride, our cars spinning mechanism failed to catch, so they sent us around for another go - spinning the ENTIRE TIME, rather than just after the half-way point. It was CRAZY.

For those "anxiously awaiting", we'll have the next couple of portions up on either Wednesday or Thursday. I assume. Nikki want to do some more on Wednesday/Thursday?

While wrestling, jumped off of a ten foot platform and hurt my leg pretty bad. This was about eight years ago and my leg is still messed up and easily injured.

There was another turn that really beat me up, too. Maybe it was the third turn? I don't remember, but I braced myself every time we went around it. It didn't help, but you know. Also, our hotel was just off the "souvenir store boulevard" portion of the Dells, and it cost about $55 per night, which I figured was a great rate - especially with the nice room we ended up with!

Girls who don't have thick hair on their arms have no need to shave them. But armpit shaving should be a must. Oh and I also hate hair in "other places", but that's not really a problem since it's not like I see chicks running around showing me those places all the time. Actually I thought the boomerang was one of the better ones I've been on. Certainly above PCW and GL's versions. The Arrow was a lot smoother when I rode it in 2001, but it was pretty terrible this year.

I use Mapquest, but I always double check with the official site of the location I'm travelling to to make sure they're correct, since most amusement park websites have directions listed from general areas.

Yeah, we only had about a five minute wait for Viper and there barely was any sort of line, but there were two trains. Mind Eraser was also running two, which surprised me as I thought that was a coaster that was either a] a victim of the Six Flags "must have one major attraction closed every day" motton and b] never ran more than one train.
