  1. No one expects a tall, outdoor roller coaster to be completely immersive. This is different. As for the dropping props, different strokes I guess. I don't like any gag where the technical workings stick out like a sore thumb. They can try dropping a cruise ship off a cliff; I still won't like it if I can see it's track, etc. USH as a whole puts much less emphasis on immersion than IOA, and even USF.
  2. * You can see the parking garage from the ride. * You're surrounded by a generic studio lot after splashdown. * I much prefer the dropping raptor crate, personally. The jeep effect is pretty stupid looking, since you can see both the track it's on and the wires it's connected to. Bad show. Plus, dropping something right over someone's head is more likely to scare them than something falling down a wall. I do find it odd, though, that USH's ride has two T-Rex's and the other versions have one. IOA's JPRA could use some more AA's. Other than that, I much prefer the way it looks over USH's.
  3. That guy is hilarious. He's too cool to feel. Why does USJ's T-Rex seem to have more movement than ours?
  4. I definitely think it's time for a return to USF. I need a dose of old school HHN, when it had a more realistic, in your face type feel. Less overly cheesy theatrics. The only issue is the fact that IOA offers more venues for houses, and they supposedly want 8 this year. USF only ever held 5.
  5. Why are you complaining? It's hilarious. This topic's pretty pointless.
  6. I hope they fail for trying to enter such a saturated market with something we already have.
  7. This Trolley better be damn good, because it's making Suess Landing look cluttered as hell. I don't like the placement of those platforms.
  8. This doesn't make any sense... how would they know about this before anyone else? As for Screamscape, they say this every year. Nothing new there.
  9. Imhotep is the most advanced AA Universal has. They purposely made the guards static figures.
  10. It was a lot like the 9th level of Hell.
  11. Just think of it as another new experience. Might wanna skip Old Town, just in case...
  12. Python was the first looping coaster I ever rode. I can still feel the headache.
  13. The GAP (Guest Assistance Pass) at the Universal parks will allow you to go through the Express line for every attraction. Just go to guest services.
  14. I don't see any resemblance to anything in WDW. IOA is completely it's own. My favorite themed land in any park, bar none, is Lost Continent. It's architecture and atmospheric details are unmatched anywhere, IMO. It does need a large dark ride for people who don't enjoy coasters though. Otherwise, all we can do is watch shows.
  15. Technology isn't really a matter of opinion. The Indy/Dinosaur vehicles don't have nearly the range of movement as Spider-Man's motion base. It could easily replicate anything those other rides do.

  17. Anyone who knows what each specific bathroom looks like scares me.
  18. The dragons need a paint job more than the ride does, but yeah... They should also paint that section of Hulk around the tunnel. It's almost black. Looks like they need to clean Popeye as well. At least Suess is getting the attention it needed.
  19. ESPN Zone? So this is the part where Westside, like PI before it, goes to hell in a handbag...
  20. From what I've heard, that park can't afford any trade-offs.
  21. That was my other complaint. It's basically HM... without any of the creepiness. I realize it has a different backstory, but no creepy, no ToT.
  22. I'm actually not that impressed. It looks like a giant haunted mansion.... and it has an even weirder shape than DCA. The tiny windows and plain brown side don't help.
  23. If he didn't know the facts, he shouldn't have said anything. And I don't care how old someone is. If you can use a computer, you're old enough to be held accountable.
