  1. The RIP tours have always seemed like a huge rip-off if you ask me. I mean, if you know what you're doing, an Express pass (and maybe some jell-o shots) is all you'll ever need. The tours seem to be targeted at HHN newbies, because they're actually quite limiting from a veteran's standpoint. Plus, you have little chance of getting targeted in the scarezones if you're huddled together in a VIP group. The scareactors often treat them like the "don't even look at us group." It's probably the annoying glow sticks that light up the entire area. Having front row seats to B&T and saving a couple extra minutes not waiting in line are the only real perks I see.
  2. So, how did everyone fare on the psychological evaluation test?
  3. The "secret" path goes from behind the boat in ToonTown to Space Mountain. That cloud in the Epcot update bears a freaky resemblance to Figment.
  4. You know those objects on the house description pages? Yeah... they're now clickable.
  5. There isn't anything in the 97-98 drawers to mess with, as nothing is returning.
  6. I saw it too, I don't think it's real, but the general public will think it's real, I personally think it's just an actor Universal hired, and they put a whole production out...it's funny how that the first YouTube movie is deleted, because Universal made him get rid of his film.... so anyone have any idea if this is real? You cannot be serious.
  7. The clown is in. Revisit 1994, 2000, 2003 and there's a few extra surprises lurking in 2001.
  8. They were standing outside of Run. As for the interiors that were shown, they were mostly from Psycho Scareapy. I think it had a little Run and PsychoPath thrown in as well. The facade shown at the end was definitely PsychoPath.
  9. Third production die-ry is up. House construction.
  10. There will be a special Arrival show at the beginning of the night with Darkness and all four of the icon characters. Then, throughout the night, each icon will do a show by themselves, sacrificing guests in a similar format to the Terra Throne.
  11. Last year's Bill & Ted was my favorite show I've seen in a park. Best one they've done.
  12. From what I've heard, the backlot sets will be considered a maze of sorts. There's supposed to be two other mazes; an asylum and a classic monster maze in the Van Helsing building. They'll probably just stick Frankenstein and the Mummy in there and pretend it's different.
  13. Yes, they have maps at HHN. As for Stay & Scream, I'm not 100% sure where the holding area is this year, but I'd assume it's somewhere near the soundstages as those are the houses that will be open for Stay & Scream participants. Just be in the holding area by the time the park closes. When they're ready, they'll let you go through select houses before the rest of the masses get into the park. Most things will still be closed during this time though.
  14. Ehh... I wouldn't be so sure. In fact, it may have been a one time thing. I mean, they could do something like that again, but if they do, everyone will know what's up. The details won't be kept hush-hush and as a result, the prize probably wouldn't be as prestigious. Maybe they can do a scavenger hunt of sorts where the "winners" get a free sweet sixteen cupcake.
  15. Yes, we know what will be at the event. They probably should have done this before they put up the official descriptions. Either way, there aren't any riddles or game to be played.... not yet, anyway.
  16. Sorry, but I think that question deserves a "duh." The icons are going through the drawers, cutting out and taking note of things they want to include in this year's event. There is no hidden meaning.
  17. Nothing Universal does will ever please you Disney fanatics. They've added a new attraction in each of the past three years, by the way. One of them being an e-ticket.
  18. For those wondering about the notes that have been left pertaining to DrIvE-In, these are the rumored films being used this time: Hellraiser, Scream, The Ring and Silence of the Lambs.
  19. The narration could be better, but it gives great insight to the creative process. And it's not every day you get to see back there.
  20. What do you mean no signs of Eddie? He's in the Run logo. He's not going to be representing the event with the other four icons, if that's what you meant.
  21. Portofino is the prettiest hotel, hence it being the most expensive. On the other hand, I think it's the farthest from the parks. Hard Rock is the most vibrant option because of it's theme. More flashy than relaxing. It's the shortest walk to the parks. Royal Pacific is the least expensive hotel, but it's still pretty nice which makes it a value. It also has Tchoup Chop, the best restaurant on property. I've only stayed in Royal Pacific, but I'd assume all three hotels use the same beds, which are probably the most comfortable I've ever slept in. You'd probably enjoy any of the three.
  22. The "heart" of Scream House is apparently the greenhouse. Every house this year will include one scene from it's predecessor. Why they chose the greenhouse of all things, I'll never know. Does anyone even remember that scene? The most interesting part of this update is the card in the 2002 drawer. Most people think the message is a reference to the resurrection of Cindy, the Caretaker's daughter (who was supposed to be the original icon of 2002 until he replaced her.) New publicity photo. This makes for a funny wallpaper.
  23. Our old friend Albert has decided to raid some of the drawers in the Behind the Screams section of the site. Check it out.
