You must be going to a different Busch Gardens. The one I go to has the worst park operations in the state. It takes an hour for the high school dropout operators to dispatch a ride. And while the park has some nice areas, the attractions themselves are very ghetto (both in cleanliness and quality) and it's not uncommon to see trash strewn all over a large percentage of the park. I think highly rated coasters and free beer is all they have going for them.

IOA Photo Update 3/4/06

Suess really needed this kind of attention. It seems the paint would fade quickly, and everytime they repainted it, they would do so with darker colors. Thankfully, that doesn't seem to be the case this time. Now if only they'd do something about the cracks in the ground. They also need to clean and repaint Mythos. Half it's facade has turned green instead of it's original tan color. I realize this is because of the waterfalls, but come on. -

Busch and B&M sitting in a tree...
JT3000 replied to Homer's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Doubt they build that in BGT. Floridians would just view it as a complete rip-off of Spider-Man. -
Last time I checked, it never snowed in the southeast, where the East's equivalents of those parks are. You just made an awful arguement for the West.

Another Disney Ride Accident
JT3000 replied to CoasterJunkie's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Give me a friggin' break. He's 70. The fact that they refuse to stop the loading platform for anyone is in fact Disney's fault. No one else's. I have in fact seen handicapped people get turned away from Peter Pan because they can't board unless the platform is stopped and they refuse to stop it like they do at other attractions. It's a fairly recent policy. Apparently it's was the attraction supervisor's bright idea. -

The Big, Fat AP Question

UO has much better AP perks and treats it's AP'rs better. Which parks you prefer should come into the equation, of course. -
Tokyo Disney Resort Discussion Thread

It looks eerily familiar. -
1. Space Mountain is an old, lower budget ride that has much room for improvement itself. People naturally expected more from E:E. Is that not allowed? 2. Where have you seen Splash's warehouse? It certainly isn't visible from the parking lot, that's for sure. And I've never noticed it from the park, either. Unless you were referring to the DL version, then, I don't know. 3. Really old ride. 4. Every other ride in existence? Hardly. In fact, I'm having a hard time even thinking of another example. Most rides that don't want you to see something like that don't LET you. E:E does.

TDS's Tower of Terror
JT3000 replied to COOOOLkid's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The TDS tower definitely has more depth to it's architecture than the other versions, but IMO, it just doesn't strike me as scary. It's a little too... I don't know. Will this one have a garden? That's probably the biggest hit against DCA's.
