I have never made one, they're stupid. When was the last time you went abroad? -
Sant Narcís Fair (Girona - Spain)
RollerCoasterSmi replied to Trevor's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
This is a really cool fair, I haven't been to one in a long time . My parents didn't allow me on these things due to them apparently not being safe. Does anyone know of any good ones (or any for that matter) in the UK, I love the excitement of a fair that you just don't get at amusement parks. -
Why have you never done a circut of lake Erie

My geography of the states isn't great but I think what you are referring to is the 2008 Behemoth Bash Tour or the 2012 LeviaTHON Tour (correct me if I'm wrong please). -

That turn around is pure porn, so different... I think everyone agrees that pretty much all of the B&Ms being produced for 2012 look absolutely insane: - Shambhala -tallest in Europe and that turnaround is crazy - Swarm and X Flight have weird drops - The Parc Asterix Invert seems to absolutely fly around the course - Leviathan is frickin' over 300ft! - Wild Eagle, well it's at Dollywood And all Intamin has is SkyRush! -

I'm going back to Thorpe next weekend (I haven't been since Saw was built), does anyone have any idea how busy it will be? I will come back with some new construction pics... -

This thing has a really nice ROAR... -
@simon8899 The S&S Screamin' Squirrel really is not as fun as it looks, the first inversion is good but after that it is really dull and repetitive. Raptor and Magic Mountain are awesome, I would even say I preferred Magic Mountain slightly, it is unexpectedly forceful through the loops and the Vekoma restraints are comfy, it is smooth and there is no headbanging although there are some really stong lateral forces.

Water Coaster VS Log Flume
RollerCoasterSmi replied to dmaxsba2408's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I go for the RCDB definition. If it is there it is a coaster, if it ain't it isn't. If you still think it is a bit iffy go to the manufacturer's website. Mack is selling it as a coaster, so it is, Intamin doesn't sell it as a coaster so it isn't. -

I always thought (by the looks of it) Muntanya Russa was just a crap version of Liseberbahnan, but it is much better and safer!)than Montaña Rusa (the homemade coaster)... -
I am agreeing with the USA peoples here. Alot of UK coasters are "fading" Oblivion, Sonic Spinball, Colossus, Shockwave (until recently) and G Force (until recently). I do have to dispute about Nemesis, as it was designed to look old and faded. I always think Rage is pretty garish though... PINK AND YELLOW = TASTY

How much would it cost for a person to go on Olympia Looping, Hollenblitz, The Two Mad Mice and Alpinbahn once each? -
I don't go often but the ones I have been to in descending order are: Shakeaway Pizza Hut Frankie & Benny’s Subway McDonalds Domino’s Pizza Gregg’s Krispy Kreme Starbucks YO! Sushi KFC Burger King Little Chef I haven't heard of most of the USA ones, also looking at the Wikipedia list, I haven't heard of most of the UK ones either! Also about a year ago my Dad brought me back the infamous Stonner Kebab from Glasgow (sausage, wrapped in donner kebab meat and deep fried!) Just 1,000 calories. I got about halfway through... Stonner Kebab (Sausage wrapped in donner meat and deep fried... YUM!)
