  1. Very intresting way to start posting at TPR... I think we're going to love you... Also, you can post multiple pictures on one post... it's a lot easier.
  2. Our Orbit is well-maintained and well-run. It's a really fun spinner, with no restraints, and it doesn't make you nauseous. The one at SFGAm still goes vertical (thank god!) Schwarzkopf did really well with that flat... it's an incredibly fun ride. His ployp ride (over by Batman/Yankee Clipper) is also a really good spider-type ride, with fun little airtime.
  3. I hate my damn toaster... it can never make Toaster Strudel right... either it's cold or overcooked and burnt...
  4. Dude... B-Rad was working on Demon when I went, and the crew was hauling major ass! That line was long (to under the lift w/out the swichbacks), but only took like less than 10 minues. Good to see that they kept the goodside of AE open. Red rocks, blue blows.
  5. You're not missing out on the Mixer... really. It just kills the shoulders and legs. Also, it's very slow at going upside down, so all the blood rushes to your head. It's just not a real pleasant ride. Though I can say that it's better than the Inverter (which isn't saying much).
  6. I think the bumpiness is caused by the quick/tight transitions and turns... Space Mountain really isn't that rough... in fact, I think it's an incredibly smooth ride. Anyway, great video!
  7. ^ Aww... Anyway, if you have XP, you can download the official XP Image Resizer here: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx. It's very easy to use, and very useful--you can adjust it to whatever size (in pixels) that you desire.
  8. Cameron, I just played my friend's Addams Family machine, and it was amazing. I'm so jealous of her... it's an amazing game. And she has a ripoff Caddyshack one (I'm not sure of the name), a jukebox, and a ICE Baseball one. I hope both of you have a great birthday! And yes, pinball really is the greatest game ever.
  9. Hope everyone got a chance to see the season opener yesterday. An episode recap is available here: http://www.cbs.com/primetime/amazing_race10/shows/ep01/race/story/index.shtml I did not expect that first elimination--it has got to be the first elimination outside of a pit stop. Anyway, I think this season could be really great. Though, I love the models' full title: Recovering Drug Addicts/Models. [/b]
  10. Wow... SFMM seems so... terrible. The updates continue to be worse and worse... how much worse can it get before the park just shuts down entirely?
  11. I love Falling Stars... If you ever want to ride an amazing Falling Star, go to Adventureland in Iowa. That Falling Star is run insanely... so much airtime that it's amazing.
  12. I play Clarinet/Bass Clarinet/Flute/a little piano. Bass Clarinet is definately my favorite, though. I have a great tone on the clarinet, and the low notes sound amazing on the bass clarinet.
  13. Looks like you guys had a lot of fun. Maybe my praising of (RIP)Shockwave is inspiring the other Arrow loopers to run better. Anyway, Bethany was in chat last night, which totally blew my mind! And Jahan's picture is priceless. Nice TR.
  14. Papa John's, but not at Six Flags.
  15. Just wanted to bump this up, as the show begins tonight. Be sure to tune in!
  16. ^ Yeah, I thought I heard that music when I was exiting. I love the ending of the new soundtrack.
  17. Unfortunately, Six Flags simply doesn't do single rider lines. And, it would be close to impossible to retrofit the current queue lines to somehow include a single rider line.
  18. LOL... nice TR! Your captions are great! Anyway, I found SFNE to be a really nice little park. Clean, well-run (for the most part), and good employees. And yes, Superman is an amazing ride.

  20. SFGAm's still does the five-ish flips in a row... and has for like two years now. Though, after that, the rest of the program is pretty dull.
  21. The gondolas are not even used unless there is a handicapped passenger. There is only one of them on the ski lift at Blizzard Beach. If you use the single rider line, the line for the ski lift will take no time at all. However, it still is faster to walk, but the ski lift is a nice, relaxing ride.
  22. I agree with Robb and Elissa--keep WDW's Space Mountain the same! The track layout is perfect. It has plenty of great directional changes, lots of good airtime, and pretty good effects. It simply needs music. Plus, I love the in-line seating, which makes me think of the Schwarzkopf "jet" coasters. It has a great layout, and it's incredibly smooth. Even though the Disney fanboys say that it's "rough", it's not even near rough. In fact, it's really, really smooth. It's just the directional changes toss you around a tad. In fact, from our high school group that went to WDW, Space Mountain was the favorite coaster by far... nothing was really comparable to it. It won by a landslide, and these are my non-coaster geek friends. Add music and effects to WDW's, but don't change the tracks. Please!
  23. ^ Perhaps you could elaborate... simply saying "not again" is quite a silly response.
  24. 1) USF's Mummy 2) Space Mountain (FL) 3) Rock N' Roller Coaster I don't know... Rock N' Roller Coaster just didn't really do it for me. Good launch, good first inversions, smooth, but the rest of it was blah. Space Mountain is a classic, and it's actually a pretty forceful little ride. I also like the in-line seating, and the layout is good. But, USF's Mummy is the best. The animatronics are great (especially the coffin one), there's a crapload of fire, and the launch is good. Plus, the airtime is good, and the soundtrack is good. The queue is amazing also.
