That's what I was wondering. I did a quick Google image search, but didn't come up with anything.
Boomerang @ KBF is constantly needing its loop welded. Those extra supports will most likely reduce the need for constant welding. I'm curious to know why they didn't implement magnetic braking.
Xcelerator has two trains and can run both of them at the same time. However, for the past year and half the ride has only been running one train with the other in "rehab".
I think the days of Xcelerator ever running two trains again are sadly long gone.
It's more reliable without the 2nd train. 2nd train doesn't do much to increase capacity to warrant the increased down times.
When Star Tours 3D was announced I was worried I would get nauseous but surprisingly enough the 2D actually gave me more motion sickness than the 3D. Not going to lie though, I was a little worried riding Transformers @ USH for the 1st time but was pleasantly surprised that it didn't make me sick at all.
They are doing what is best for the business and spending $20mil+ on a coaster is not a smart move right now. I don't fault them for that. Would I personally like to see a 450ft giga, triple-launch Aqua Trax?!? You bet your ass I would, however I understand that's not a smart move for their business.
The GP will eat up an S&S free-spin. Do I personally like them? Meh. But the GP will eat it up. CF is in a better financial state than SF is so they can't be adding $25mil giga coasters and the like quite yet.
I do however, agree with this.
Most likely catch car related. The catch cars were the biggest issue with the GIBs. I know SFMM had issues with Deja's catch car overheating and causing the train to "park long" in the station.
Flat rides are always a great addition. This looks to be the Mondial revolution.
Mondial to CF: "Sorry about the Windseekers, here's a free Revolution for your troubles."
