  1. ^Very true. Having a 9 year-old daughter myself, I should've known better than to say that!
  2. Emailed the park last week about the MF Nanocoaster and they are selling fast but an employee by the name of Andrew (Merchandise Manager) was nice enough to put one aside and ship it to me! Excellent customer service! I know how the rest of my workday will be spent......
  3. Yup me too. But I think I'm outside the circle in saying Deja Vu was one of my 5 favorite rides in the park and not only was I sad to see it go the abandoned plot of land and remaining footers don't make it any easier. Agreed. The park had Deja Vu's maintenance down to a science.
  4. I don't think you're entirely alone in thinking this. Glad to hear. It's the "Frozen" of the Haunt industry....
  5. Is JLBFM suffering from the same issues that it's counter part at SFStL is suffering from?
  6. I might be alone with this statement but I'm over the Walking Dead. I would've been OK with last year being the last year for Walking Dead being a part of Horror Nights.
  7. I voted no. I have no issue continuing my use of the standard forum but I do agree that forums are a dying breed. In TPR's case it works just fine.
  8. 1 is a friction brake pad similar to the brakes used on the Matterhorn. Sky Rocket uses the pad style friction brake as well. 2 is to make sure the reactor plate at the bottom of the train is aligned properly. Other coasters use a similar device as well. California Screamin' BTMR @ DLP Speed: The Ride in Las Vegas (Defunct)
  9. Excellent PTR!!! Fury might not be "I305 good" but it sure is gorgeous!
  10. I as well am willing to fork over some cash to someone that frequents the park to pick me up one of these beauties.... PM me if you're able to do this for me. Thank you
  11. Yea well let's hope it isn't another 12 years before another new coaster installation.....
  12. 4 Hours of TC ERT > Any other plans Great news, Robb! Ticket being purchased momentarily!
  13. Zumanjaro was closed as well but doesn't say closed on the website anymore. Most likely a manufacturer part issue.
  14. ^I was just wondering the same thing. Ship's Fire Suppression system did it's job however. Source Source More photos of the fire can be found here.
  15. No they can run 3. 3 trains is only needed June-end of Fright Fest. That leaves them 7 months to rehab 3 trains. Their issue is that their cycle shop is understaffed so train refurbishments take longer.
  16. Must be something fairly major as Magic Mountain lists LL:DOD closed on their website as well......
  17. The complaining has already started......
  18. I think possibly the train and Uber might be your best bet. Hop on the Metrolink "Orange County" line going towards Los Angeles Union Startion and then you'll need to transfer to the "Antelope Valley" line and take it to the Santa Clarita station. It's a 2 hour trip. Once at the Santa Clarita Metrolink station you should be able to take the Santa Clarita Transit bus to the park. If you're visiting on a weekend the Metrolink weekend day-pass is a great deal at $10.
  19. Condors are mechanically complex. Great rides but they are ageing and parts are getting harder and harder to come by.
  20. Ghostrider would easily be a "top 10 coaster" if the layout had topper track and RMC trains with polyurethane wheels. Back to CGA: How has Gold Striker's reliability been this season?
  21. ^Agreed. Also, If ShotRod (Giggity) is in fact a launched coaster, the only launch technology that makes sense is LSM.
