Haha! Took the words right out of my mouth. -
I'm focusing on what Voyage is and not what it isn't. Could it have been better? Yes. Could it have been a lot worse? Yep. It's exactly what Knott's needed and is an improvement over WMG @ CW. Triotech was chosen for cost. Choosing Sally Corp doesn't necessarily mean a "better" product would've came to fruition if the park didn't want to pay for it.

Besides, when you have one of the top coaster designers in history on your payroll, might as well pay him to do what he's done most of his career. Fair enough. -

^Sad. IJ:ST was a blast (Pun intended) when I rode at KI. Top 10 coaster? Definitely not, but a great 1st coaster for a child and families. Cedar Fair isn't used to dealing with and maintaining Show Elements of attractions. With these TrioTech dark rides that they are purchasing they will need to make sure the respective parks are hiring AV technicians to maintain said attractions or they won't look too good after a few years. -
Actually, Yes it does matter. If the park is empty and there aren't enough guests to fill trains then there's no need to put unnecessary cycles on a ride vehicle. If there's a 30 minute wait for ROS, then running 2 trains is feasible. KBF doesn't run 2 trains on any of their coasters in the off season. My question still stands. I do however agree with you that the park should have ops trained to crank out trains regardless of how many are being ran.

Having done media events in the past I would suggest that you don't do that. If the release didn't specify what to wear, I would always go dressed as plainly as possible. Park might be pretty picky (as they have the right to be) about what people are wearing. I may have been joking..... I've been to plenty of media events and am well aware of what to and not to wear.

Does Baron not have a holding brake or is it just not being used for testing purposes? -

How much of a benefit do you get by designing a ride in-house? Sure you save a few bucks but then you're on your own when a problem arises. Not knocking the park for choosing this route but I've always wondered. -

As far as I know Wicked Twister is the only ride that's not ready to operate, everything else should be open barring any weather or mechanical issues. Speaking of which, is there any news on Wicked Twister, does anyone have any idea how long it might be down for (approximately obviously... days, weeks...)? Seems like they may be waiting on a part.
