  1. I agree about the general roughness of the funnel. I've seen it rip two peoples bathing suits, and really rough people up! It almost needs to have a little less water in there because when you hit it, it feels like hitting concrete. I know it has to be there to slow you down, but I really can only ride it once or twice in a day.
  2. If you have a 'regular' pass to any Six Flags Theme Park, it is good at all other Six Flags Theme Parks. It is also good at waterparks that are IN the Theme Parks. It would not be good at HH at SFGAd, SFMM, SFoT, any waterpark that has it's own gate. If you have a 3 park pass to SFGAd, or a Hurricane Harbor Pass at SFMM, it is NOT good at ANY other separate gate Hurricane Harbor. Example: I have an xtreme play pass (sfmm, free parking, free fastlanes, etc.) and I have a Hurricane Harbor Pass. With these two passes I can get into all of the Six Flags Theme Parks, but only MY hurricane harbor, not any other that has its own gate. Also I do not get my 'xtreme benefits' at any other SF park, just SFMM. Hope this helps.
  3. You deserve it Wes, great job!
  4. ^^^We actually didn't go there or to Hanayashiki cause we were having so much fun at Disney...there's always next time!
  5. I also had the evil jaw expander!!! Anyways, Braces suck, just try and relax and breath through your nose while they're doing their thing. If you need a break, just tell them and take a 30 second break while they're putting stuff on. Have some advil/tylenol ready, and always follow their instructions!
  6. Nigloland is a smaller park in France...it was a lot of fun! In Italy, Movie Park Italy did not use the red light green light thing, and the haunted house was on the same level as Halloween Horror nights!
  7. For Mitsui Greenland we used Omuta station. We wrote to the park ahead of time and they told us there was a bus from the station but it was easier and faster to just take a taxi. I believe the taxi was only about $15. For Kijima, just use Beppu station and there's a bus direct from the station. It takes about 30 minutes but it's a pretty cool ride. On the Kijima day, we also hit Wonder Rakutenchi (a $5 bus ride from Beppu station) and the Sanrio park Harmonyland ($15 taxi ride from Kitsuki station, 20 minutes from Beppu station) You could hit something in Fukuoka on the Mitsui day, but I would recommend spending all day at Mitsui...it's awesome!!!! Hope this helps, let me know if you need anything else.
  8. Yeah it seems like it's always harder when you are travelling East.
  9. Here's the problem with selling SFNO...WHO WOULD BUY IT?!?! Forget even the park, I don't think that land is very attractive right now. There are so many areas in New Orleans up for sale, I can't imagine them getting a very good price for it.
  10. ^Ok, I'll let you know this summer.
  11. Does anyone else find these trains hideously ugly!?!?? I HATE THEM!!!!
  12. It really depends on how many times and when she'll want to go the most. My parents live in Florida and can go pretty much whenever they want so I got them the one with blackout dates to WDW so they go when it's not busy. Would your mom want to go when it's really crowded on a Saturday in the summer anyways?
  13. Yeah, at some point we might put up like a "Who's Who of TPR" to help you, but for now, yes they are our friends and family! You might also wind up in a video someday!
  14. You guys all worry me!!!
  15. No internet or email at work today!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
  16. Honestly, it doesn't seem to get much ridership anymore and it is quite rough. Scorpion should stay because it has a 42'' height restriction which is great for kids. Also going upside down once is a lot less intimidating for a kid than doing it twice. I won't miss it if it goes, but I'd rather they replace it with a flat ride (does Florida know what Flat rides are?!?!?) instead of more monkeys!
  17. Julie, don't let them annoy you! I also saw the story on a 'real' news site. When she posted it, it was real! I'm glad to now here it was fake. Although that mouse better have died from natural causes!!!
  18. Yeah it should be pretty empty at those times.
  19. I agree that the open areas would be easier...but I guarantee there is room in Marvel, and the ride could look impressive.
  20. Wow, someone finally sees our points about Knotts! You hit on a lot of good points in that TR!
  21. Let's not turn this into a race debate... I think moreso what some of the posters meant is that it's the 'lower class, unsupervised youth of ALL Races' that are destroying the park. The people that get a $45 pass and use it as babysitter all year. Very similar to what Disney did by raising the cost of their premium annual pass $100 last year.
  22. http://www.ushsho.com/detailedsteelrollercoasterpollresults2005.htm I would use that as a better guide...and even there I feel that 14 is too high!
  23. I think moreso it's their plan to promote the PlayPass. Why pay $60 for one day, when you can pay $60 for all year.
  24. ^I knew it didn't sound right!!??! Ugh, my brain is really out of whack lately...I think it doens't like to tuble around inside my skull at gymnastics every monday!! Off to edit my post now!!!
  25. Where is Apollo #4??? Even if Big Bad Wolf is the best suspended in the world (which I wholeheartedly agree with) it still isn't in my top 30! Interlocking loops...eh, not a big deal, it's pretty but doesn't really add anything to the ride. I am in the 'Alpengeist pretty much sucks' camp... As far as 'exclusive contracts'...I don't buy it with B&M, Busch, and Dive Machines. Dive machines aren't even new!
