^No!!! That's the first thing I thought when it was announced! I went back through the footage and pictures (I mean we did the Ferris Wheel and the Hyper Coaster, I looked around, you'd think I would have seen something!) I remember making some joke about a new ride in some tiny little area, but who knows! I'll look through the pix again at some point!

We've heard for awhile that it's closing down. The place is really crappy and was the only place in all of Japan that I felt a little 'uneasy' and to top it off some scary homeless guy followed us around!

I wouldn't worry about capacity too much. There are plenty of Disney rides that do less than 1400pph.

We'll be there at some point this season, not sure when yet.

Let me say one more time how odd it was to have the Discovery Channel people AT MY HOUSE!!!

I like watching the Olympics as well! One of my athletes dads is getting to go since he works for NBC!

We actually almost went to that China park with the Screamin Squirrel and Intamin Rocket on our Asia trip but about 2 weeks before we were there they annouced that the opening was going to be delayed until Jan 1st so we missed it. Oh well, China is definitely in our near future plans!

We'll post our final itinerary closer to the trip!

Honestly, it is a little early. If you can wait a bit longer, wait till the season starts then ask again. By this time there will be commercials and promotions and the locals can tell you which fast food or grocery stores to go to to grab coupons!

I can't stress enough how much you should do your drives at the end of the night! That way if you're done with a park early you can head out, you don't have to be forced to stay there. Also traffic is always worse in the morning that at night. Again, do what you feel comfortable with, but staying near the park you're visiting the next day is always going to be better!!! You need to be at some of those parks for opening to have a good day!

Robb wears contacts 24/7, I have only ever seen him lose two. One on The Storm at Wet n Wild. One when I smacked him in the eye and it flew out while driving on I-4! No problems on coasters, but yes, they will get dry so bring drops and spares.

I don't think we knew that English was your second language. As I said, this post was much better, so don't worry. We have some members in Maine, maybe they can help you out.
