  1. You can request sides and cars, it is not random which you get.
  2. ^We're discussing it on the Facebook Group! https://www.facebook.com/groups/themeparkreview/permalink/1009872989367331/
  3. ^It's being reported that they were just changed in the last few weeks. Have you been recently?
  4. More Japan TR's are always ok!
  5. Only in Japan would a garbage incinerator be a tourist attraction.
  6. I hadn't realized that Wild Eagle got new Vest Restraints that don't suffocate you anymore!?! Is this really true!? That would really improve the ride experience for me.
  7. Robb and I will be at Epcot all day today as part of a big media event celebrating the new Star Wars ride and the transformation coming to Epcot over the next few years. Keep an eye on our socials and later here for all the details! PS - Super excited for my first fondue in a bread bowl of the season!
  8. Oh man...that is very cringe. Like Walter or Claude would even know what to do or have permission to touch the ride!?!?!?
  9. ^I think the zoo has come a long way in being more of a 'real' zoo and less of a 'typical asian' zoo. When we first went back in 2004 they had a parade with the animals including driving a giant tortoise around on a fork lift. No bueno!
  10. ^Yes. If you do a search of this thread or the ask Alvey board it has been discussed quite a bit. VERY hard to do on public transportation. Takes forever. Won’t get there for opening and have to leave before closing. Assuming you are down in the LA or Anaheim area. Rent a car or use Uber/Lyft.
  11. ^Exciting! Please keep us updated. We really like Tusenfryd a LOT, but it's hard to justify the trip up there when a new coaster hasn't been added in some time now.
  12. Honestly, that's the way I read it too, I'd assume the movie only works well facing in a certain direction, isn't that also why Space Fantasy gets its capacity cut in half? Glad to hear you think the same. I think we both have a LOT of experience trying to translate bad asian translations!
  13. ^I was actually thinking the same thing when I saw those tables. I get it, you're trying to be 'trendy food hall', but those are also not really great for families with small children. Hopefully there are other seating areas that we're just not seeing in the photos.
  14. Is the bad translation perhaps that the Backdrop train is staying and just doing it's normal backdrop train thing and that you can't do the VR on that one, only normal Hollywood Dream?
  15. Great report. Tobu Zoo has changed so much over the years. I really hold out hope that they'll do something with Regina and the place will be amazing!
  16. You really don't need to book anything at Castaway. If the girls needed to get some energy out or if the weather isn't great for the beach you could think about renting the bikes. We really enjoy that. Sounds like you have a lot of good stuff already booked. Three days goes by real fast so I wouldn't pre-book too much more, I know some people like the alcohol tastings but I don't think it's needed on such a short cruise. Palo Brunch is VERY much worth it! Make sure to check the Navigator (itinerary) every day for all of the random activities and characters. The ship and characters will be dressed up for Christmas so take advantage of it!
  17. Tonight we were invited by the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts to check out Escape to Margaritaville. Kristen and I know NOTHING about Jimmy Buffet outside of his restaurants and a few songs so we were interested to check it out. The website describes the musical as: “Welcome to Margaritaville, where people come to get away from it all—and stay to find something they never expected. Get ready for a hilarious and heartwarming musical with the most unforgettable songs from one of music's greatest storytellers. USA Today calls it “A little slice of paradise!” and Entertainment Weekly raves, “It will knock your flip-flops off!” So don't let the party start without you.” Ok, so let the party begin! Still love that we have such an amazingly nice, new theater facility 20min from our house! Before the show and we're excited! Ran into Adam (huge Jimmy Buffet fan!) and Maddie trying out one of the signature Margaritas for the show tonight! We saw LOTS of people dressed in their best Jimmy Buffet attire... Hey! And it turns out we know that guy too! We're in our seats it's time for the show! They didn't send us a stock photo of my favorite part (the random tap number!??!!?) so here's a snap from the Volcano song which I actually almost know! Equally famous Cheeseburger in Paradise song...also did I mention that a goodly portion of the musical is set in Ohio!?! Without giving too much away, this is towards the end and shows off all of the leads. KT and I both thought the dancing and songs were fun, but the story was a bit odd. Go see it and tell us what you think! *Some photos provided by Dr. Phillips Center Escape to Margaritaville plays at the Dr. Phillips Center in Orlando through Sunday, November 17th. This is the second show of an amazing Broadway season in Orlando with shows like Miss Saigon, Mean Girls, Aladdin, and My Fair Lady. And don’t forget Robb’s favorite Les Mis which kicked off the season last month! If you are a local to Orlando we highly recommend getting season tickets, or if you are in town for the theme parks, be sure to check their schedule and add a Broadway show to your vacation plans! All the info you need can be found on the website: https://www.drphillipscenter.org/
  18. Sleeping in your car, in the US, in May and June is a very bad idea for a single female and others as well.
  19. I really like Cosmoworld and the surrounding area. Plus they have a great selection of capsule machines and claw games! Glad you enjoyed it as much as I do!
  20. No one should be nostalgic for Kingdom of the Dinosaurs! Bring back Wacky Soap Box Racers...that's the kind of nostalgia I can get behind!
  21. I really never understood why all the Californians hated Voyage to the Iron Reef so much! I get this will have the nostalgia factor, but I'm still shocked they gave up on Iron Reef so fast.
  22. ^^I would agree, at least it's pretty custom and interesting.
