  1. It worries me how accurate this could be!
  2. It has a 54" height requirement because it's SFMM. =( Oh, and comfort collars are still probably the worst thing to happen in the industry in the last five years. STUPID!!!!
  3. These running events basically print money for the parks, I'm surprised it took Universal Orlando so long to jump on the bandwagon! Thanks for the TR!
  4. I've been waiting for this report! Great start!
  5. I just can't be excited for this until we have more information. Hoping for the best though!
  6. Great report...adding your gyoza place to my list for next time!
  7. I'm really hoping to see it included in the next year or two.
  8. ^That's the week after LAUSD (and some smaller LA districts) Spring Break so I think you'll be ok too. NYC always has the latest Spring Breaks!
  9. ^&^^Spring Breaks in this country run from beginning of March to end of April, hopefully you'll see some extended Fantastic shows during that time but the parks will also be slightly more crowded than normal. Lucas - That week is San Diego schools Spring Break, but not LAUSD so that's ok for you.
  10. ^Robb and I will not personally be there, but hopefully someone will report from opening weekend to see how the park is doing.
  11. Some interesting figures in this article: https://soranews24.com/2020/02/04/brand-new-all-harry-potter-theme-park-could-be-opening-in-tokyo/
  12. This is sad, and I actually had hope for the park after visiting this fall and actually seeing an almost healthy crowd level. But if they can really rent to WB and make it a Harry Potter Studio Tour type attraction in Tokyo they will make more money than they know what to do with so I can't see the park surviving at all how it is now.
  13. ^That makes it even more amusing! Also, I want to point out another big difference between the US and Japanese parks was quite evident this day and Bert pointed it out. With a forecast and weather like this most US parks would have closed early, or at least sent many of their part time staff home which means no chance of opening rides later in the day if the weather improves. In Japan with full time employment at most of their parks they were all there working, trying to get rides open, even 15min before the park closed with less than 100 people still in the park!
  14. My four new favorite words came from Nagashima...FARM DE BANG BANG!!! I honestly try to throw that in a conversation at least once a week.
  15. ^That is really cool. That 'park' lego set seems like a great idea.
  16. ^Yes, but to be fair they were a real band before they got that gig and they're much better than Jimmy Fallon!
  17. ^And it's Big Hero 6 themed which makes it 923874% better than Cars or Toy Story themed!
  18. ^I know! The New Yorker in me hates this with every fiber of my being and it took me years to feel comfortable with it. Now I'm like "Sure send your laptop and passport and prescription meds by some random guy in a truck to be left unguarded in a hotel lobby!"
  19. I'm sorry, but I gotta say it...does it really look that different from the other big RMC's!?!?!? I get that it's a GREAT problem to have, but these RMC's are all very similar and this just looks a lot like Steel Vengeance and the Poland one right!? Is it because it's purple!?!?
  20. Hmm...don't totally love that. Will wait for confirmation.
  21. China is scary. I really hope they get this under control quickly and can reopen all affected locations.
  22. I think Disneyland got all of Florida's Star Wars Rise Mojo today as ours has been down for about 3.5 hours during the day so far! Good luck SoCal!
