  1. Thanks for the extension! I just did my poll and the funniest/best thing I noticed was that I finally have two Vekoma Coasters in my top 25...and they're both in Poland!!! WTF?!?!
  2. How many years did Universal actively make fun of Disney for the Magic Bands?! Like every Bill and Ted show ever!?
  3. Why must everything be click bait nowadays!!?!?
  4. If there's any country I would want to be in after a large natural disaster it's Japan! I've now been there for a major earthquake and a major typhoon and both times was super impressed with how the people handle everything. Also, we had a great group on this trip and everyone understood that sometimes, you just can't control the weather!
  5. We just got off Mariner today (which basically does and is the same as Navigator) and had an amazing time! What they've done to CocoCay is amazing! They were making fresh tortillas on the island!!!! I was worried with two large ships in port but they did a great job and if you're a smart park savvy person you'll have no problem at all avoiding lines for the slides.
  6. ^Agreed on Data. I've also heard conflicting reports on whether you should refresh or not? Some are saying that if you refresh right before opening it won't actually refresh you for two plus minutes and you'll be behind!?
  7. Thank you everyone for sharing your experiences. We're going to be heading back in a week or two with some guests and are starting to prepare!
  8. I really think in a weird way the Typhoon helped us! It made the crowds so much more manageable than a normal Horror Nights Day and kept all of the rain and bad weather on one day which was NOT our visit! Great report as always!
  9. Orlando schools are also still off on Monday. I don't think it will be bad though as people are over the holidays and have stuff to do to prepare for going back to real life!
  10. ^But over eight years in NYC?! I mean, there's some SKETCHY stuff that goes on, what if they were paying like $600 a month?
  11. Certainly a bit worrying. Without knowing the numbers it's hard to judge whether it's truly fair or not. Especially on an eight year lease in NYC.
  12. ^Interesting. I have never seen the same attraction as in Singapore. I'd love to do more of them!
  13. I thought the toboggan road attraction in Singapore was awesome, I hope this project sees fruition.
  14. Yup, and I still have such a bad taste in my mouth from that SFGAm visit that I just can't even go back! We followed all of the rules and you made my young child get booed by strangers?!!? Screw that park and those employees. On that same trip SFGAd gave KT a wristband and a name tag to make up for that other park experience and she had a great time riding everything! <>
  15. ^I think the BGW ride is going to be pretty similar, so it should be a win!
  16. ^Exactly. I think most of us know what AR is, it's just a distraction having to wear a pair of glasses on a PHYSICAL ride.
  17. ^Not insane enough. It would have to be like a gravitron, in a box, with fire, and water effects, and then the fire shoots at you.
  18. Great report. I am so sad and craving those 551 buns and gyoza now!!!!! I still think Flying Dinosaur was some sort of mistake by Universal and B&M! There has not been a B&M that intense in quite a while and to show up randomly at a Japanese park with a culture known for more tame rides!?!?!
  19. ^That's not his point. His point is that you're going to have to wear some sort of glasses on the ride. We were all really hoping for an ACTUAL ride.
  20. Ok, so I'd actually recommend that on this first trip you stay in Tokyo as I think you'll have a LOT to see and do. Then on your next trip (because trust me, you'll want to go back immediately after leaving!) you visit some more places. I would arrive, and do a good base hotel for Tokyo. We love the Shinagawa Prince Hotel. From there do all of the 'normal' Tokyo stuff, plus Tobu Zoo park and maybe LaQua, Yomiuriland, and Joypolis depending on your park likes. For 'normal' Tokyo stuff you should do the Ueno Zoo (Pandas!), Asakusa (shrine, good free viewing platform, tourist stuff), Shibuya (crossing, awesome food, shopping, etc.), Harajuku (interesting kawaii fashion and food), one tall building or tower, maybe the fish market if that interests you, take a cooking class from https://www.simplyoishii.com, and just have an awesome time. Then for your last few days and nights I would move over to a Tokyo Disney area hotel, we like the Hilton Tokyo Bay, and base there finishing off your trip before heading back to the airport.
  21. ^I'm assuming that's where the ride came from! LOL!
  22. ^^That is truly terrifying. We must go!
  23. ^It's basically Tow Mater's Junkyard Jamboree but themed to Baymax.
