I really like Parque Warner Madrid. Is it fair to say they don't have a signature coaster when they have two really decent B&M's!?!? I mean for a park in Spain that's not Port Aventura that seems pretty great. Did you get to eat any food while there or were you too busy? We found air conditioning and good food which was a nice surprise at a park like this that we also felt would be very corporate and similar to a US Six Flags/Cedar Fair park from the 90's. And yes, burn Coaster Express to the ground. The supports don't even deserved to be reused for a good coaster, just kill it with fire!

Physics Day at Random Amusement Parks

^&^^ I feel like any days when there was a large student to chaperone ratio were pretty bad. I know that the jesus days we had at SFMM and any of the grad nights were rough. -
^Nice report, glad to hear the employees are improving. I still haven't been on Hagrid's because I really want it to be more consistent before I go put the effort into it. I really want to try that new Big Fire restaurant too, I've heard a lot of good things. The closing times are ridiculous. Robb and I were commenting on that a few weeks back. They obviously could stay open later or stagger the parks, but I really think they WANT to put people into Citywalk before it gets too late so they'll spend more money. That's the only reason that makes sense for the shorter hours at the parks.

^Big name for a small coaster, but the park is awesome so I'm giving them a pass! -

Wow good for them finally getting this coaster and actually installing it! Great addition for this park. -
I have a funny story about the spiders at FujiQ... I was in the bathroom stall with KT, probably 6+ years ago. I'm sitting on the toilet and KT is standing in front of me. All of a sudden she says "Mom?" and points up to the ceiling. There, directly above us, is one of those GIANT SPIDERS. I have never put pants on so quickly and run out of a bathroom!!!

I subbed high school science today and there’s a lot more roller coasters involved than I remember! This was just a sample of the pictures I saw in the text book. There are also photos of Kumba, Cyclone, drop towers, and kiddie coasters! Did any of you ever get to do a science or physics day at an amusement park? I got to do Busch Gardens Tampa in high school in my AP Physics class and it was super fun. Someone pointed out in the Facebook group that the Physical Science textbook is written by a chemical engineer! Oh Florida! I don't believe this still looks like this! At least the textbook is from this century and not showing Russian Ice Slides and crude drawings like I remember in my old books. I think SFGAd would be a pretty good park to do a Physics day at!

I'm glad you had a good day and I do believe that our trip and report spurred them to take some action as the park and some of the manufacturers contacted us after we posted about our day! The park surely has potential but it's going to need some consistency and that crazy Vekoma new thing to get me back in a few years. -

^Yeah, we did. Sea Paradise had a trained whale shark that started one of their shows! Hopefully your son can see that one at some point. And yes, the entire Ocean Sunfish exhibit at Sea Paradise has been gone for years now. Sorry to hijack your thread Adam! Excited to see what you thought of Universal!

I'm so glad the aquarium got some additional Ocean Sunfish!!! Did I ever share the story of when we went with KT? She was so excited because we read all about how they had a great display for them. We show up, go through the entire awesome aquarium and don't see them. We finally ask a worker and she almost starts to cry as apparently they died the week prior!!! KT then also breaks down into tears! To calm her down I said we would go to the gift shop and buy all the Ocean Sunfish merchandise we could find. I assumed that they were an ugly, unpopular fish as no one seems to know about them here and there wouldn't be much. Well, about $300 and four bags later KT was happy again and we have a LOT of Mola Merch! I really do like Osaka. Not as much as Tokyo, but it's got a different vibe and some GREAT food!
