  1. Best of the Best: Untamed - This was just awesome! Twisted Timbers - I liked this more than most, but I swear it just pops you out of your seat constantly. Steel Vengeance - It's great, and now that it's not as obnoxious this year to get on it gets to be in this category. Really like: Outlaw Run - That finale?!?! Medusa Steel Coaster - That first drop! Storm Chaser - Everyone who went and rode this opening day missed out, it got so much better as it's aged! Wildfire - Best setting of any of them and at a super cool park. Fine: New Texas Giant - Fine. Twisted Colossus - Would be higher if it consistently dueled. Lightning Rod - Would be rated higher if it was consistently up at all! Twisted Cyclone - Probably could be knocked up a category! Kind of Hate: Iron Rattler - I don't know why, but I just hated this. I think the meandering part at the top of the quarry just angered me! Goliath - Bad day at the park and short ride. Haven't ridden: Wicked Cyclone - I'm sure it's fine or in the really like category. Joker - Probably in the fine category. Wonder Woman - These seem weird to me, I'm glad my first will be the SFGAd one next year! RailBlazer - Ditto as above! Hakugei - Riding next month so we'll see. Zadra - Maybe it can save the park? Though I'll probably be too annoyed to enjoy it!
  2. ^^&^ To be fair though, Six Flags actually did a really nice job with their European parks.
  3. Yes, that must be it. You know I'll be writing about NeuroGen shortly, since no one else braved the line to get raped in the butt. FIXED!
  4. Did we seriously ever figure out what the actual theme of that ride is!?!? I don't care because the ride is awesome and the 'theme' works, but I would love to know what was going through the designers minds when creating it...wait a minute, I figured it out...They went to the NeuroGen attraction first, and then came up with that craziness!
  5. ^Pretty sure the hotel has already even been announced in the long term plan!
  6. Is it too much to ask for a Mary Poppins version of the Tokyo Beauty and the Beast ride!??!?? I didn't think so!
  7. Sent some money to the Miller girls!
  8. Here's our video from 2016 of the first (I think?) installation at Walibi Belgium. Like Kyle said, it actually really surprised all of us and we all very much enjoyed it. It was about 60 degrees that day and we rode with ponchos and did just fine. It didn't waterboard or drown us like a certain water ride in Poland...
  9. ^Totally agree and hope that's the case! ...but La Ronde...
  10. Add me to the list of "glad it's not another Raptor clone"!
  11. ^The ride is awesome in every other park that has one! I'm hoping that maybe they fix whatever SFMM did that messed it up when they move it to Canada! (Although it's La Ronde so I'm not hopeful!)
  12. It's not always Six Flags fault. We have the footage too, it was sent to a NUMBER of outlets under embargo (which means you wait to post it until they tell you). It's nice because we can get everything ready this way and not have to freak out tomorrow morning doing a ton of work. But then a few idiots ruin it for everyone when they post early! I hope Six Flags takes action against the people that post early!
  13. Did you join Team TPR? I don't see you listed on our page yet?
  14. ^^That's awesome! We've thrown some money your way and I'll also throw some money to the Miller girls! If anyone else wants to donate please do so soon! I think this link should take you to the people on Team TPR riding at Kennywood: http://support.gktw.org/site/TR/CoastingForKids/General?team_id=6872&pg=team&fr_id=1886
  15. ^2023 is a best case scenario phase one completion. 2030 is the big year being thrown around Saudi Arabia. Again, this is very much a sit back, relax, and keep an eye on every once in a while project.
  16. I'm glad you ended up tolerating Liseberg. I do think part of your dislike could also be the weather that day. I mean, we had such fabulous, cool weather the whole trip and then to show up to Sweden on their hottest day in like ever years was rough, especially towards the end of the trip.
  17. Toverland continues to evolve and grow, can't wait to see it ten years from now! It will be a real resort!
  18. I always get questioned by Japanese people when I tell them we really like Nagoya. It's known as a boring business/industrial city, but again, if that's the worst place in Japan it's still probably better than 99% of cities in other countries!
  19. ^I find the Jeddah Tower project the most similar to this. They have never actually announced real statistics on the tower because they don't want another building to be able to overtake it right around opening. Seems kind of like what they're doing with Falcon's Fury.
  20. If this opens, we'll put together a nice, safe trip to the UAE and Saudi Arabia so we can all go together! I feel like this will be a more strict Oman (which we've been to), and I might not like or agree with all of their rules/culture/law, but I'm willing to accept it for a day or two for that screwed up Tilt Coaster!
  21. I think it's much more Story Telling COASTER than Gringott's is. I mean, Gringott's BARELY counts as a coaster.
  22. A lot of "if's", but like others have said, if the Meadowlands project could come to completion, so could this!
  23. I LOVE everything that was announced for Epcot...but I also weep for my next 3-5 years visiting Epcot! It's going to look like DCA when they renamed it Disney's Construction Adventure!
