  1. I predict that Robb is going to make his money back in candy by visit three!
  2. This name is the exact opposite of the H2O live waterpark name! It's the BEST EVER!!!!
  3. ^Oh, he didn't prove me wrong! Please, a 90's era B&M Invert!?!?! I'll take that over anything B&M has built in the last 10 years thanks.
  4. But do you really think Cedar Fair went to B&M and asked for a downgrade?! No. They do their market research and look at ridership and maybe they decided that Fury was too intense (Obviously not for us, but for GP), and decided to make this a little more tame to entice more people to show up. Think about Steel Vengeance at Cedar Point that didn't help their bottom line, maybe because it was too "holy f***". Look all over Facebook at casual park goers. There are tons out there already today saying how it's too much for them and they'll just watch. If you want parks to have money and build more rides for you, then you have to also let them build rides that more people will ride and make money off of!
  5. To address some of the hate... Parks shouldn't be building coasters for enthusiasts. They should be building coasters that bring money/GP into the parks. This is a great ride for that. Just because it isn't some record breaking super intamin Giga doesn't mean we shouldn't go ride it and have fun, it just means we won't have to ride it as much and let the GP have their fun too! You really can't complain about a smooth, nice, 300' ride. It could be a lot worse! It could be some rough ass SLC, Zamperla contraption or something terrible. This hobby has to remain FUN and positive. I can't tell you how much more I've enjoyed our trips and park visits since I stopped counting 'credits' and stopped riding crap! I wish that I could convince all of the enthusiasts to do the same and it would really improve your park time! Oh - And you all should have known that Cedar Point wouldn't actually let Kings Island get anything that would outshine them!
  6. We'll be at the announcement next week and share more!
  7. Great recap of a crazy day! Earthquakes are terrifying and that was a big one. It was very impressive how well Osaka did getting things going again.
  8. ^^When I saw the press release I immediately assumed it must be some weird Chinese project that will take the title this or next year!
  9. ^My on ride video clearly displays the KERCHUNK and how excited I am to hear it when we get to the top!
  10. Can we just take another minute to appreciate Fury and hope that more get built? What a great ride with a cool concept!
  11. I think I took the Goliath photo, but I would have commented anyways, so now you owe me!
  12. It's a great ride! My question for the locals...why does it seem like it's only been running one train on several busy days? Seriously great ride though!
  13. I'm only here for the eventual trip report from the Walibi Holland VR experience! NEUROGEN FOR LIFE!!!!!
  14. I also found Fury to be the real surprise hit of the trip. I hope we see a lot more of these start being built!
  15. I'm now guessing that the next place you go live will be overlooking a zoo!
  16. So excited to relive the trip through your report!
  17. That's ridiculously nice for a 'moderate'. I love the new elevators but I don't know if they can work with the general public...especially the general public on vacation! I know Royal Caribbean tested them and it didn't go over so well. I really worry they will only work in office buildings.
  18. ^No skip the line passes offered. Choose the coasters that interest you. Really most people go to the park for the actual PARK more than the rides as it's just such an amazing resort. They're very good language wise and you won't have a problem.
  19. Must be a very nice community! The park really did look in great shape and nice. I wish them the best!
  20. ^Interesting explanation, thanks. And yes, she did!
  21. ^^^I love the expression 'ass time', I'm going to start using it more!
  22. Have you ever visited a SkyCoaster site and seen them not quite up to code? I let KT ride her first SkyCoaster in Mexico! Mainly because we had a site controller with us on the trip and he went around and made sure everything looked up to par. I do believe that SkyCoaster as a company seems to keep all of their sites in good working order.
  23. ^&^^&^^^ Put the ride at Knoebles...only way to see that capacity!
