  1. Anything was going to be an improvement over this... But DAMMMMMNNNNN!!!! This looks great!
  2. Absolutely do Scott's Pizza Tour. We've done the walking tours and his bus tour. Both are fantastic for different reasons. If you want to message us your dates privately we can ask him which tours he's personally doing as he doesn't do them all any more. I really feel like NYC is just such a great, easy to navigate, and believe it or not friendly city to do on your own that I don't think I would recommend a 'tour' of general sites. If you do the Pizza Tour first, Scott will suggest things based on your likes. I can also give you some suggestions based on your interests as I used to live there and visit quite often. If you're really set on some sort of tour to get more of the lay of the land, I would look for one similar to "The Ride" where it's an actual set tour and not just random hop on hop off that can have issues and delays.
  3. Can't wait to try this coaster again this summer now that it's been running for awhile. RMC's so far only seem to get better with age!
  4. ^It depends on the crowds and the weather. Get there BEFORE opening, run right to Dodonpa, find the ticket machine and buy the passes.
  5. ^They are timed in one hour increments (if it's still the same). Riding 3X in a row will take you almost an hour on all of their rides even with the fast pass ticket. You will have to exit each time and go back around with your next ticket. If you read the post directly above yours, he pretty much answers all of your questions.
  6. What is a Mickey Churro Waffle and why isn't it in my mouth!?!?!?
  7. Sorry! We were actually IN Japan when you posted this and I think we both missed it. Anyways... DO NOT GO ON OPENING DAY OF THE NEW RIDE. Why? Like you said, you've been on basically the same ride and the other days it should be much less busy. Trust me, you're going to go back to Japan and you can ride it on a future visit. There's so much amazing stuff at Disney Sea that you won't miss Soarin, trust me! I would recommend instead to just stay at one of the partner hotels so you're close by. Sure you won't get those 15min, but if you go early and are in the front of the pack it will be fine and you'll save some money for souvenirs and food! Now, that being said, if you have the money to stay at one of the hotels and they offer some of the package deals that come with bonus fastpasses, that may be worth your money!
  8. ^I'm not over exaggerating when I tell you to be at the front gate, with your ticket in had at least 90min prior to opening. You'll be in a good spot then to run in and grab a fastpass for what's most important to you, then go standby something that isn't too terrible yet. Just try to fastpass as much as you can. Sindbad will never have a bad line. Indy and Raging Spirits both have single rider lines. They will be long, but not as long as the standby line.
  9. I don't think that's the case at all! There's a LOT of love for it here. I loved that ride (and I don't love or even tolerate a lot of rides)! Read back through the thread where its demolition is announced and you'll see a lot of us were quite bummed.
  10. I think they should have Intamin come out and do "Son of Volcano"!
  11. Looks like Orlando is getting the World's Tallest Free-Standing Drop Tower!!! And more! Scheduled to open on I-Drive in Spring of 2020. This nearly completes the rebranding of the former Merlin Orlando Eye area into "Icon Park". Artist Concept of the new attractions.
  12. ^Yeah, those Intamin megalites are VERY dependent on weather, riders, and how often it's running.
  13. Just out of curiosity, what made you enjoy Kawasemi slightly more than Piraten? The fact it was in Japan!
  14. Here are mine... Top VERY bottom
  15. ^I share many of your opinions. A little surprised by the new rides placement, but we'll see how they hold out over the years. No one can deny Twisted Timbers is an amazing top ten coaster, but #3?!?! And yes, Grizzly and Anaconda don't really belong on that bottom list. They're crap and useless, but they don't physically try to lower your IQ and motor function!!! Great job to everyone involved! Love some of those pictures!
  16. Great Report! Europa is just such the perfect park for all ages! I miss it!!!
  17. Here's our review from our last visit to La Ronde back in 2011: https://www.themeparkreview.com/parks/photo.php?pageid=344&linkid=10905&pageno=1 Keep in mind we had what would probably be the best visit possible. Park let us in early, we filmed on two rides before the public was let in, we had Gold Flashpass, etc. That being said, we haven't been back and don't need to. It's really all about the poor operations. I remember most of us waited almost an hour for the woodie with gold flashpass, some of the group I think had to wait an hour for the SLC, ugh, yeah, just poor operations. Oh, and there was a lot of drinking to get our participants through the pain of the day.
  18. Sorry, but this is kind of dumb...everyone is going to tell you Europa...and if they don't, you shouldn't listen to them!!!! Also, Europa should be ABOVE Phantasialand in your priorities.
