  1. ^Lol. Such a surprisingly amazing ride.
  2. ^Maybe in 30 years when it moves to SFA they'll extend it!
  3. Sometimes karma is wonderful! From the Orlando Sentinel: Man facing trial in death of beloved Busch Gardens flamingo Pinky killed in Orlando crash A man who faced an animal cruelty charge in connection with the 2016 death of Pinky, a beloved flamingo at Busch Gardens, was killed in a traffic crash in Orlando this month, according to the Tampa Bay Times. According to the report, Joseph Corrao, 48, was crossing State Road 50 in Orange County June 5 when he was struck by a pickup truck shortly before 6 a.m. He died at a local hospital. The Times reported that Corrao was facing trial in August for animal cruelty in the 2016 death of Pinky, an animal ambassador for the Tampa theme park that “delighted Busch Gardens patrons with its dance moves.” Corrao was visiting the park with family members when he grabbed Pinky and slammed the bird to the ground, the report said. Pinky was badly injured and was later euthanized.
  4. This is a really good ride that should be talked about more.
  5. Really great report! I've enjoyed reliving the trip through you. Thanks for the kind words, we hope to have you on many more trips with us. As for your picture you were confused about with the big lines midway through your day? I'm assuming that was around the time when they offer the Starlight Passport (after 3 or 6pm depending on the day). It can get very busy around those times as it's a great deal and many people take advantage of it so it's almost like another mini-ropedrop!
  6. 1000 Birds on a Stick down a dark hallway would be a better house than most of HHN!
  7. ^Yes. Robb uses Uber a ton in NYC. I'm a walker and subway person myself.
  8. 1. Pass Rapidus is ONE time on 8 major attractions: Pégase Express, OzIris, Tonnerre de Zeus, Trace du Hourra, Menhir Express, Grand Splatch, Oxygénarium and Goudurix. There does not appear to be a version of Pass Rapidus that offers unlimited. The Premium Ticket includes entry, lunch, and UNLIMITED skip the line on the same 8 attractions. I believe that's what we got for our group on our last visit, it was great. Can't help you as much on 2 and 3 as it's been a few years since our last visit.
  9. ^Good luck with the weather!
  10. Can we also talk about how amazing all of the vending machines are themed!??!
  11. ^^I'm glad you had a great visit. The park is slowly improving for sure. They didn't used to offer any sort of skip the line ticket so obviously that helps the most! Food and operations are also improving. You also got VERY lucky with good weather as that could have instantly ruined your day.
  12. Mmm love me some Intamin wood!
  13. I can stand Vegas for about three days and then I need to get out...basically for all of the reasons listed above plus the smell of dank smoke and cheap booze. I really like it for about three days every other year though!
  14. ^I think all of Vegas is hurting. I follow some of the Vegas blogs and there are lots of reports of shows and nightclubs cutting way back.
  15. ^I'm sure it's still there because it's okay to be racist towards Canadian's because they're too nice to do anything about it.
  16. Getting caught up a bit here. Mmmm GeForce....
  17. ^Agreed 100%. Get yourself a rail pass and use the heck out of it! Also, there's no way airfare is $2500 unless you're looking at premium economy or business class. From NYC I've paid as low as $700 roundtrip and a max of about $1200. Your schedule looks fine, don't worry so much about the language, but do yourself a big favor and learn about 25 words/phrases and it will make all the difference. Will you have internet access while out and about? Google maps and translate can help you a lot but you'll need to have coverage.
