WOW that intimidator looks a whole lot more fun then the one at KD. Seems like a nice park over all. Will have to plan a few days down there next summer. -

Even though I do not want to participate in the army this makes me happy because I know there are gays and lesbians that would love to participate.

Awesome update! I am sad to see how bad off the park is. I love small family parks like this and I would love to see it make a come back.

I was there a few weeks ago on a Thursday and the operations were pretty good. I do not understand why they use only one train on Intimidator and 2 on Anaconda when it did not have any line. It was always a walk on. I had the same thing happen when the park opened they blocked the walk ways to the back of the park in the kiddie section, by the tower, and on the other side. A lot of guest kept saying why open a park and then not actually 'open' it. If they are going to do that then just wait to let everyone in. I agree the Crypt is an awesome ride! Just wish it flipped more and you actually got wet by the water shooting up. I also see a lot of potential for this park. They have a lot of open space in the park still which means lots of space for new rides in the future. -
Just looked up this product and it seems really awesome. Thank you so much for providing this information!

I wear my glasses on all wooden coasters. I did think I was going to loose them on Phoenix because of how much air time you get but I was lucky, my boyfriends daughter on the other hand lost hers on the last bunny hill of the ride. With steel coasters it all depends. On something like SooperDooperLooper or Tennessee Tornado I will wear them, but something like Great Bear or Alpehgiest I will take them off. For me it all depends how much is going on with the ride and how much my head is going to bang against the restraints which could cause them to fall off. Also my glasses are tight on my face so that helps a lot.

I love seeing things like this! Thank you so much for this update. -
Hey Everyone! I did a quick search and I see no threads yet. I LOVE LOVE LOVE flat spinney rides (Tornado, Tea Cups, Hi-Roller, Zipper, Enterprise, Chaos, Power Surge, etc.), my BF on the other hand can not stand getting on more then one in a row or he will get sick. He wants to love these as much as I do and hates that he has to sit them out when we go to parks together. Also he hates that I have to ride alone. Does anyone else here suffer this and maybe takes something for it or wears one of them magnetic bracelets for motion sickness? I want to know if these items work. We are going on the North East Trip next summer and there will be lots of flats he will want to get on. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I apologize if there already is one, but I do not see a Knoebels discussion thread started. I went to the park on 9/4/10 with my BF and his daughter and had a BLAST!!!! The park is just as fun as I remember from when I went almost 6 years ago. It was very crowded but they moved the lines along fast. The longest wait was probably about 20 minutes for Phoenix and Twister. Both coasters were running perfectly! Twister was a little rough but that is how I like a woodie. I love that they still have the Satellite ride. That is CLASSIC that I LOVE. The Cosmotron and Scrambler both have slow cycles in my opinion. The highlight of the day for me was The Haunted Mansion. I am a HUGE dark ride enthusiast and this ride was perfect!!!! It actually scared me quite a few times, especially the truck and the strings hanging from the ceiling. Once it became evening/night a lot of guest left and most of the rides were walk ons. It did get chilly but I loved it. Twister is definitely better at night. Something about it just makes it more fun at night. I hope to get pictures uploaded soon!

Is it. But just know that when your opinion differs vastly, and so apparently strongly from most everyone else, your opinion will most likely be more heavily scrutinized. If you're cool with that, and understand that, no problem. --Robb I am definitely cool with it. -

^No, I never blacked out on Stunt Coaster. I can definitely see where someone could though. -

And yes this is one of my top faves because of the sheer height. I am terrified of heights and that is what makes it so scary for me. -

No offense, but reading that makes me not take your opinion seriously. I can't tell if you're either just joking around (sounds like it), or if you went in with unrealistic expectations. Kinda sounds like you went to the park specifically to hate the ride. Rode it once so you can say "I rode it" and then hated it because that's all you wanted to get out of it. Sorry, I'm not buying it. --Robb "According to The Offspring, it's Cool To Hate." Alvey I apologize, but they are my true feelings. The only expectation I had was to have a good time on the ride. I am not saying it is not a good coaster, I can definitely see where so many people like it. I just was not impressed at all. I did like the first drop, just after that I was bored. I am not trying to be hated on this site cause I do not want that being I am going on the North East Trip next summer. I just thought since this is a forum we could share our opinion. -

After the first drop it just twists and turns and I find that boring for it having such a huge drop. I wanted more hills and at least one inversion. I did not feel the need for over the shoulder restraints. I understand that may have something to do with safety or what not but I still do not see the point. The quick twist during the ride were quite rough as well. I had more fun on EVERY other coaster at the park. I have more fun on Steel Force at Dorney. Millennium Force looks fun, have not rode it yet. My BF did not like the coaster either and thinks Millennium Force is a way better ride. I will make my opinion once I ride it. As for the park, I have been several times over the years (I do not live far at all from it). I have NO issues with the park at all, just that ride. The park is taken care of A LOT better now that Cedar Fair owns it in my opinion. The rest of the coasters are a lot of fun. My favorite is Dominator which is followed by Grizzly. Just curious, but how many times did you ride I305? After my first ride I wasn't too impressed with it either. As I rode it more it really grew on my and by the end of the day it was my favorite steel. Once and that was enough. It was way tooooo boring. After the first drop I wanted to get off, that is how bored I was. If I wanna twist and turn at Kings Dominion I'll get on Stunt Coaster. It will never be my favorite steel. Nitro/Kingda Ka share that spot in my heart. -
Over The Shoulder Restraints. (OTSRs)

All they really gotta do is make OTSR not so bulky. The ones on Intimidator are very comfortable.
