  1. I would say: 1. The 4D coaster 2. Pre-fabs by Intanim 3. Beyond 90 degree drops
  2. Awesome update! I will hopefully get to Disney for Xmas one year.
  3. I LOVED that coaster!!!!!! I liked it because there are no other bob sled type coasters like in my area.
  4. Totally agree. I have been going to the park since it was Adventure World. Back then they may not have had all the rides they have now but their customer service was so much better. Jokers Jinx and Roar are the only coasters I generally enjoy there. They have NO flats that are special to their park. Everything they have I can get on at local carnivals or other local parks. Six Flags is a lazy company I believe because when something gets too old or they do not feel like dealing with it anymore they just close it or take it out. I have never been to to a park where so many rides were closed ALL THE TIME at once with no real reason. There were times I would go one weekend and every ride would be running and then go the next and a lot would be down and the next all would be open. When ask why at customer service there was no real reason.
  5. Thank you! I wish all straight people thought like you.
  6. Train look awesome! I hope to one day get to ride this!
  7. There was a Coaster Cuts at King of Prussia mall in PA. I wanted to get my haircut there just cause it is coaster related but never got up there with it being 2 hours away. As for Six Flags America - I know everyone is tired of hearing about it. It can close for all I care. I would prefer someone else buy it and make it what it deserves to be. If it closes altogether I will miss having a park within an hour of my place but I will survive.
  8. I too like the personals idea!
  9. They were really good with line jumping the times I visited this year. Even having local police lead the offenders (who became rowdy and aggressive) from the park in handcuffs. In another note, I got an e-mail asking me to rate Fright Fest. I gave it pretty low ratings. I mean there were a few decent scares, but when you only have two mazes, one of them shouldn't be upcharged . I hope there are some improvements next year for Fright Fest. I don't expect the park to upgrade to a HAUNT or Howl-O-Scream type event within a year but for starters: -NO UPCHARGHE MAZES!!!111oneoneone!!! -More mazes. Maybe just one more? Please? A lot of the buildings in Southwest Territory have potential. -More Scare Actors on the path. I saw three roaming the entire park. That'd be my start. Hell, cross off the last two, JUST NO MORE UPCHARGED MAZES! Good post. I agree on the no upcharge for mazes. I think they should be free with park admission/season pass. KD gives you a good collection of quality scare mazes, free with park admission. But let me get on to an idea I had for the company as a hole. Has anyone ever thought about Six Flags Entertainment breaking their task up into teams? For example, there would be a team that specializes in rides, a team for games, a team for shows and a team for Fright Fest attractions. Almost like Disney imagineering, but on a semi-level. Each team would be given a number of parks that they have to design stuff for. This would eliminate this whole debate about how certain parks get treated better than others. For example, if Six Flags were to brand a scary maze attraction, numerous versions of that maze would be made for every park, if they had the space for one. Same thing goes for the rides. If Six Flags start some type of Arkham Asylum dark ride, different versions would be made for every park, depending on the space they had. To sum up what I just said, this idea would be to help the board of directors. Sometimes I feel the lack of creativity comes from there being over worked and not having any real knowledge on what makes a park good. Even Ed Hart mentioned in his interview that "It's all about the rides". If the board of directors are simply over worked and are lacking in creativity, how much attention do you think a park like SFA is going to get? I'm beginning to think this park would benefit more if it were owned by an independent guy like Ed Hart. Maybe individual attention would benefit SFA more. I totally agree!!!
  10. I agree with you for people that do not visit often. It got OLD getting on the same major rides year after year for almost 10 years! Plus the customer service and line jumping at the park are TERRIBLE.
  11. I hate when I see or hear about a park just standing there!! Something needs to be done about this, I really think it does. The rides and coasters should be sold off or something. That wooden coaster looks awesome!!!
  12. Beautiful pictures! I hate the cold and snow but it is so pretty in pics!
  13. As much as I HATE seeing this, it does however how a weird beauty to it. To know at one time this park filled people with joy and excitement makes me happy. I wish all of these coasters that are rotting away across the nation could be rebuilt with replicas at one park and call it Classic's Park.
  14. The chain food is what I like at Six Flags America. I ALWAYS eat at Panda Express because it is the most healthy food they sell besides Subway. Also it is not that much more expensive then the mall Panda's. I do not really like the burgers, pizza, and chicken fingers they sell. That is really all they sell there.
  15. I am thankful for having people in my life that love and accept me for who I am. Also I am extremely thankful for amusement/theme parks but especially Walt Disney World!!
  16. I agree with you totally here. Skull Mountain needs something to be done to it. It had/has so much potential. If anything give the tunnels some themeing, all they are is just dark tunnels. How boring is that?
  17. This coaster looks amazing!!!
  18. The only downside I see is if Palace wants to turn DW into a theme park with more adult rides and attraction, to try to steal guest away from Hershey. It will be their biggest competition location wise now. Before it was not like that because Hershey owned both and more or less controlled which guest went to which park based on what the guest were looking for (Hershey with thrilling adult rides or DW being a park full of kid friendly rides). I know this may not happen but it is still something to think about.
  19. The new one is just me at Target. I know I should not shop there because they supposedly anti-gay but their stores so dang on organized.
  20. For some reason I can not see any of the pictures in this thread but reading everyone elses responses is making me pretty excited for what at the show.
  21. I honestly think it is a good move. Hershey can now focus on making their sole park bigger and better then ever. I have a feeling the company wants to take the whole Hershey experience bigger, more like a Disney feel. They already have the park, the campground, the spa, and the hotel. Its a matter of time before Hershey is more then just a weekend getaway, soon enough it may be a vacation destination with guest spending a week or more there. At least more then do it currently.
  22. So Scream Scape is stating that Six Flags Inc. is potentially doing away with the Tony Hawk, Wiggles, and Thomas Town branding. If this is true, kinda sucks for Six Flags America who opened Thomas Town just this past season.
  23. Dollywood Dorney Park and Wild Water Kingdom Knoebels Trimpers (Did not ride any rides though this year) Funland
  24. WOW, I can see why they are doing this. I did not black out, but I can definitely see where people would.
