^ The more I keep looking at the pix, and equate it with a "carnival" theme... I think these are supposed to be party horns? You blow and make noise with? ~ ~ ~ ~ But then - there's this set of air pumps that 'fan the flames,' so-to-speak, so WTF do they have to do with a carnival? Disneyland Paris is really doing some nice strange stuff for a few of it's seasonal festivals and events. For instance... This is at the front of Main Street, and is being used for Kids' Carnival, a sort-of tie in to Mardis Gras, for children. But lots of color, a bit of a special show I believe... and some of these wacked-out 'sculpture creations.' They're adding more and more for Halloween there every year too, which is now becoming second to Christmas for visiting the parks, in decoration. Thanks to www.dlp.info for the pic. Now can YOU tell me what these... are?

Very nice photo album there. My fave was the pic of the cabins waaaaay down below Mean Streak, there. "Under the shadow of it's massive construct...." Sunset shots are always great when you can catch them. You caught some very nice ones, I see. Thanks for sharing.

Looks like your first setup is lookin' good there, Wally. The flowering tree in question is a magnolia tree? IMhO Not sure, but when the blossoms fall.... have fun! Gavin will probably enjoy picking up all the blossom petals as a game, hmmm? They are rather a mess if you don't get them cleared off the ground, tho. Regardless what it's called, lol!

Damn is this tooth and gum ever going to "calm down" and stop with the (now) subtle THROBBING???? Even a strong pain pill isn't doing that great. It does feel like it's slowly, if ever so, healing up and going away - the pain I mean. Eventually I guess. Still, it hoits, it hoits!

^ Well I know that's one of the reasons Space Mountain was 'sunk' up to 15 feet below ground surface for it's construction at DL. Couldn't be taller than the Matterhorn. Same went for BTM, too, I believe.

You just reminded me, Don... We have these machines at alot of our own malls, especially those with movie multiplexes in them. Most of them are offering (gasp) La Disney Stuff, such as mini-coffeemugs (made of -real- china) or figurines of certain movies, like Toy Story, or Nemo, and early character lines like Dinsey Princesses. I think each one is a $2 CDN turn, which for better or worse isn't too bad a deal for throwing two bucks away, hmm? Thought I recognized those little yellow buggers, heh heh! Trip report lookin' great there. Glad you both had a great time, without getting stressed out on how to "do all of it," etc. Sometimes, spontenaeity (sp?) works just as good in travel, as local life, lol. Looking forward to the final part of it all.

My next suggestions - All coasters oudoor as well as the indoor ones - be excellently maintained, painted and kept up to all-weather conditions, incl.snow. And for a CanadaMAZE...... all forest and rockwork walls. Deadends are ice and snow. From one corner to the other and back thru other way, hee hee. Even stepping over bridges in it, with a small stream running thru it. Haven't thought about what "the endpoint" would be for them. Maybe a Lookout tower like the Hotel at EPCOT? The Grande Frontenac Hotel? Or maybe something like what's on Tom Sawyer Island at DL. A waterwheel house that starts the stream thru the maze? Hmmm?

^ But - if you could somehow make 'Expedition' just a teensy bit... bigger?Or just make it the same size as the second word, and it does overlap either side of the stop sign... Try it and post it afterwords, or now, ok? I think it'll work fine. Gets the idea across with color and shape w/o sacrifising what is written. IMhO Talk about ironic, heh heh. It's pretty great as it is, since we all know the first word, etc. Lolol. (EDIT: Actually if you do make 'EXPEDITION' the same size letters as "LUNCH," center both of them each overlapping each corner 'side,' then trim those sections with shadowing, and you "might" get a 3-D effect, hmm? imo)
