Yuckity - yuk yuk - bleeeeaaaahhhh. That looked rather 'edgy' on that exit ramp, there. What one can (ahem) make out, lol. -
Well, I probably won't ever be able to get to experience the attraction itself (darnit), so for me, I must say, I was biased in finding out and eventually knowing everything there was to know about E:E - couldn't really avoid it, I'd been following it's creation for so long now. And the video(s) was/were a good payoff for me, personally, IMhO. Spoilers Ahead... I had pix of the construction from the foundation up, so I already knew where the other lifthills were, where the backwards part happened... The only thing I really got wrong in it all, was the helix at the back of the mountain. I reversed the exit and entry of each train. Oops. So that turned out to be my 'surprise,' heh heh.

Good for you and the others for that rescue down south. Rachel looks like a great addition to your family.

I can agree with that. Sometimes overkill can happen with things in general, and some things in particular. Still - it is your choice whether to a) read about the attraction, and/or b) watch the video of it....... yes? No? And considering this attraction has been in forum boards since it was first announced back in 2003... well, good luck in avoiding it, lol. But - nothing will ever replace your "first time" on it, ok? ~ ~ ~ ~ Though not exactly the same, it is like finding out all the backstage stuff of a particular new show on Broadway, knowing how it starts and ends, having the CD of the cast recording - and seeing photos of the original cast on stage. But, it still doesn't take the place of the LIVE experience itself, once you finally take it in.

Tokyo Disney Resort Discussion Thread

Oh Hmmmph. I was really really looking forward to finally having a chance to go through the Cinderella Mystery Tour, when the TPR Japan Tour took place. Hmmmph. Ah well, yes, a new version of 'Mike & Sulley To the Rescue' will more than likely kick the proverbial butt of the DCA original, like 'Pooh' did (and probably does) to it's DL counterpart. Still - always looked forward to that Tour, sometime in the near future..... -
Excellent attraction idea there! And very-well thought out and executed in the drawings, sketches. Don't bother sending to Disney. Unless you actually work for the company, they cannot, by their legalities, accept any 'suggestions' for attractions no matter how thought-out or remotely suggested. It's the old "who thought of it first" legal thing, etc. Copyrights, I guess too. ~ ~ ~ ~ I sent them in a detailed idea for an extension of the original Big Thunder Mtn, in DL. One that would take the trains over the back pathway and into another set of rock-filled configurations, then coming back over to the final lifthill, within the mountain itself - with the mine, etc. This would all have been built where the ranch now is and other stuff had been before it, like the Notre Dame Village & stage setup years ago for that festival and show etc. I got my entire manila envelope sent back, resealed and in another envelope with a letter explaining their (then) legal 'situation' as to NOT accepting anything such as suggestions and/or worked-out attraction ideas. Was crushing for me, but I accepted what they needed to do. And that was back in the mid-80's after BTM had opened (in '79). Think I still have it somewhere. Who knows? Hmmm.... ~ ~ ~ ~ Again, great job in the think-thru and renderings of some of the key areas of the attraction. This could be an excellent $200 million (at least) Disney Masterpiece, really!

Five things. Hmmm. Headphones. Sweater. Guitar. ...and two other things! Yay- whaddu I win??? I can't squint that much to make out those things in the right of the pic. Saw that gee-tar neck, though. (EDIT: Is that a feather boa strung over the frame up on the wall, and a stick incense holder there down in the back? Hmmm. Maybe my eyes aren't that bad, huh? ) ~ ~ ~ ~ Lou! Wonderful!! New do looks wow on you, now!!! (hee hee, a rhyme) May I compliment you on a very good look? Now remember, at my age, and this is a compliment, mind.... The second photo of you, makes me think... "Mrs.Peel, what are you thinking about?"

Great TR again, Erik! And you are pin traders too, huh? Hmmm. How do you do it with pin trading? Do you wait for peeps to come up to you for trading, or.....? When I did it in DisneyParis, I would scrutenize (sp?) cast members' lanyards and trade pins with them, but I always allowed the kids to come to me, if they saw me with my lanyard on. Since sometimes I look like "Santa in the off season" (hah), I actually had a few children there at DLPR asking me "what character I was"? A bit wierd, but I told them I was just a Pin Trader like them - they accepted that - and I usually gave them a "bonus pin" and thanked them for asking that question, heh heh. Hopefully, I ended up being a memorable part of their DisneyParis Adventure.
