We've had heavy HEAVY WINDS thru the city right now. I have been running outside and collecting the broken branches that have hit the street near our house. Some are pretty BIG ones too. Scary for this area. The trees are amazing how they 'swing & sway' and hold up thru the gusts every now and then. Will TR the front yard one of these months, okay? Show y'all my wet weather garnening skills - hah. Veddy English and appropos to my Nature/Pagan way of life, heh heh.

We're finally going out next week to see a new movie. Brokeback Mountain was our last one. Just before Christmas. Any good suggestions, peeps? Recent openings, and meant to be SEEN on The Big Screen, lol. Not going to do Narnia just yet, so that's out for now. And no slasher films, k? Just not us, heh heh. So....? Thanks in advance.

I am BUMP a BUMP BUMP ing this'un, since I just started re-watching The Earl following La Survivor on same Thrusday night.... WOOT! Excellent show. That actress that plays whats-her-name is hysterical! I really hope and wish she gets nominated for an Emmy this fall. She is great. Too funy. His brother is fun, too. It is such Tacky Trailer Trash, yet "loveable" in it's wierd, icky (sometimes) gross way, heh heh! I can't wait to see if they show them pulling off more robberies like they did a week ago. That was a classic. Can't wait till nest week! (Major EDIT: Forgot to add! Who was that other actor playing the one who wanted to commit suicide and wanted to love Earl's X-wife.... You all know who I meant. He's great and in a lot of wierd strange roles too. I rmember him doing a stint on Friends as Joey's new roomie. Very freaked out character. And this one he did last Thurs.was great too!)

I think Tina got it cause she was just too good at doing everything already, to the other three, and they knew that, immediately. That's why Cirie (sp?) saved her neck by re-enforcing the claim, that everybody else in the quartet could have done what she did, eventually. I.E. fishing, etc. And BY THE WAY shes didn't catch the fish, remember? It landed there out of the water, not going back with the reciding tide. So point of fact, she lucked into that, and didn't tell the others, remember? Or maybe she did admit what actually happened later, and it wasn't shown? Ah, editting... I got a kick out of Tina too, felt sorry about her son and all, bur realized in this little group, she was ahead of all three of them and that was an immediate threat of a kind, snipped off early. ~ ~ ~ ~ Ah well, this is certainly going to be interesting if they play it this way for a few rounds. Down to (maybe) three in half or three of the teams, eventually. I mean, if this team gets it again and again, the show must have a production contingency(sp?) on going another path? Guess we'll find out next week. And the Island was "ok" to me. An interesting start that the group has to decide who gets left... I am sure that straws are going to be bundled for future 'decisions,' I bet, lol.

I think now that Disney realizes how many local peeps go on holidays ALL AT ONCE.... That "second park" idea recently already reported on, doesn't look like such a far-in-the-future idea, hmmm?

All of the left-hand corner there. Hmmm. Nice backpeak look, uh huh...

No. Did you know that there is a musical stage-adaptation of Tolkien's Lord Of The Rings previewing in Toronto this weekend, and eventually heading to Broadway? (shameless plug there, lol)

They just announced on the news that the 2010 Winter Olympics Committee has just "requested" an "additional $110 Million Dollars" for building, etc. This is getting to be a farce that this city doesn't need, economically. Point of fact, although it's always great to watch this on television.... the Games will essentially be available ONLY to the few lucky ones with enough $ for the best seats at certain events and finals' venues And although we're getting a few new "sports buildings".... well, to be quite honest, when The Vote was held about whether Vancouver/Whistler Mtn. should host the games, I voted against it. I wanted Saltzburg to get it. And they got dropped on the first vote! Can't wait for the (eventual) "City Clean Up Campaign," which will then again, like our Worlds Fair in 1986, disrupted housing, the homeless, land taxes and general expenses for anything in town. Mainly to us, those who lived here all the time... And all THIS crap to go thru, for a (gulp) two week event ??? Grrrrrrrr. I think they should cancel it now, while they can get out, somewhat unscathed in $$$ loss.

And to all the Canadians here in the bunch - let it be known, that the two of "our local celebrity rodents" up here in The Northern Country have both proclaimed in the f-ing way they're supposed to do it.... (And you try and remember their names, hmmm?) We here in The Land of Maple Syrup - get an EARLY SPRING ! I swear it's the total opposite of what the US rodents all "predicted." Hah. So, y'all c'mon up where it's wahm up north, y'heah?

DUDE I listen to that ALL THE TIME!! I even went to see the production almost 2 weeks ago! Its a must see for anyone who enjoy musicals! Whats your fav...mines would be "brown betty" and "what about love?" I just got the CD this afternoon jarmor, and was listening to it for the first time. Haven't let it all sink in, quite yet. I did like "Brown Betty" too, and as well "Shug Avery Comin' To Town." On first listen. I never read the book('83), and didn't see the movie ('85) so it's all pretty unfamiliar to me, story-line wise. But will give it another few listens and I'll (ahem) 'refine' me picks, heh heh. ~ ~ ~ Am now, also waiting for the Broadway Revival of Sweeney Todd to arrive here, next week. With La Diva Lupone(Evita) and Micheal Cerveris (Tommy/Assassins) as The Todd. Can't wait for that too, lolol.

4 young men vs. 4 older men vs. 4 young women vs. 4 older women... Hmmm. And where (and how) will they build their hut(s)? Questions, questions. We're watching it tonight, followed by My Name Is Earl .
