We also saw TransAmerica the other day. Excellent movie, and Huffman is amazing in the role of Bree. We both agreed that she was an excellent choice for the Oscar nomination. Next week, we're going to see Capote hoping that it (and Hoffman) are everything it (and him) are up to the reviews. Hmmm. Just realized.... Huffman for Best Actress. Hoffman for Best Actor. Co-incidence? I think not, lol.

^ So was the PeopleMover. Oops. Sry. That was "before FastPass," heh heh. The subs reborn, will help ease crowd flow in some spots, at least, yes? And it's going to still be a nostalgia trip attraction for a few "boomers" I'll bet. So they can share their experience with their own kids, but with something new for them, too. Worth a shot, than covering it over for another Pooh Playful Spot, hmm?

^ Well, that's what you get for allowing ABC to host such a 'special events time period' here.... schedule disruption of fave TV shows. Boo Hoo for losing "Earl" in the next two weeks. I'm gonna miss them all, too.

^ Just bumpin' it up a bit here, getting' ready for tonight's (eventual) discussion... On who was voted out... On how tongiht's episode went... And even tho the show isn't on the "Olympics Channel," might there be a break in it's schedule, per se...?

Sunny, clear and mild temp. today. Not the least bit close to what winter should actually feel and look like, here. Oops. Forgot. West coast, protected by Big Island offshore. -
I remember seeing some Advil somewhere... Hmmm.

Since I'm hungry, am just about to have lunch.... thought I'd give this good Big BUMP and all... I love Quizno's since (here at least), they were The First Chain to toast their subs and sandwiches for the GP. Don't go there to much anymore. And unfortunately, the Schlot is nowhere near us'n here in Western Canuck Land. Boo hoo.

Love the overhead shot pic! It's always a fun 'puzzle' to figure out, "which attraction is where," etc. And that does look a lot like the DLPR Disneyland Hotel, there in the TDR drawing of.... Looks very sumptuous - wonder how much the rooms are going to cost per night? Thanks for sharing, Jose. -

Just got this (finally) at the door a few minutes ago.... Can't wait to give it a listen. "Attend the tale of Sweeney Todd.." Mmm yes. A new chamber piece version of the Sondheim classic.

I think this is the main thing I was trying to tell you ^^^slushie. Disney more than likely took it from the viewpoint of peeps in the park itself, and how far they would be seeing the "mountain" from it, w/o showing the actual show building. I don't think they expected that up to four seconds is it (?) being enough for "onride photos" by the riders themself! And after probably several times on E:E, peeps now knowing when the train would stop, started to fidget and (gasp) peek behind themself w/camera pointed. Right back at the framework and stairways, etc. "up there." It's one of those new things that unfortuantely they didn't consider. New digi-cams for quik pix available and able to be taken on-ride etc. Who knew?

Backdraft was pretty spectacular - with that unexpected OOOOMPH at the end of the show, too. Great flaming show/attraction.

Yes darnit, we are nosy and finicky like that, aren't we? I think because Big Thunder (all parks) doesn't have anything really showing in it's construct no matter which way the track is taking you.... well, it has been quite the while since we've had such an (ahem) 'immersive' attraction like E:E.... like, maybe since 1992 and DL's Indy Jones? And I don't count the Tower of Terror, because for the most part, you know it involves an elevator experience, no question. Except for that "other part" of it (*that Twilight*Zone part, hmm*?). And from my circa.1963 memory yes, the Matterhorn superstructure was all visible in and thru it. It was only enclosed in spots, when the Snowman was introduced in 1978. ~ ~ ~ ~ Oh, it'll never be perfect for everybody. You and I know that, right?

^^If that's surprised, then I don't want to run into you, when you're pissed off, lolol!
