  1. We're supposed to be visiting Amsterdam (Walibi Holland) and Paris (Disney) in the fall of 2022. "Supposed to be" being the operative phrase. That said, we're just going to watch the coming year, and hope that somehow, some things will improve. For parks. For people. For the world in general.
  2. The PNE just announced that Playland will be open every Saturday (days 11am to 5pm; nights 6 to 11pm) through September! https://www.pne.ca/playland2020/
  3. ^ Looks great! I checked out other POP!town sets thru Amazon, and they all look really nice, including (most of) the figures with them. Did you buy this locally, or get it online (like Amazon) perhaps? And the all-important (to me) question: Do you take it all out of the box, and display it? Or keep it as is, like I do for several things I collect? I display some of my stuff as they come in their packaging. Like my TDLR Tomica vehicles, in their boxes. For now. Just curious of me. New "2020 Summer Pirates" TDS Transit Steamer, I just bought on eBay.
  4. A TAGADA! In truth, I jest. #Lawsuits-R-Us.USA
  5. Ah, the good old days of the PNE... not. I quit cigarettes over five years ago (Yay me!), and just found this amusing to see, "from the PNE past." 1978 "PNE Video" screenshot.
  6. http://www.tdrexplorer.com does various food reviews in the Tokyo Disney Resort. In this case, it's one of the many eateries you can find in Ikspiari mall, which is outside the two parks. Easy to get to via mono-mono-monorail. Here's photos of a burger place there. Along with where to find the review of it... https://tdrexplorer.com/kua-aina-review/ Can't miss the place. In case you didn't know, it's based in Hawaii. I just love Japanese plastic food displays. And I want that coffee mug! The burger the reviewer bought. Looks awesome enough, to me! And thanks tdrexplorer.com for all the great photos!
  7. They decided to add a few more Night Rides...uh....nights to this month. Not only that, but there's a new Beast Facemask to own, for the evening, too! Both it and the other yellow Playland mask can also be online ordered. At this time, I believe it is only available to be mailed within BC and Canada. Check with TicketLeader for other mailing charges, if available. https://ticketleader.evenue.net/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/SEGetEventInfo?ticketCode=GS%3ATKTLDR%3AFEST20%3AGAMASKSPL%3A&linkID=tktldr&shopperContext=&pc=&caller=&appCode=&groupCode=&cgc= With cool new Beast Facemasks, too!
  8. I'll change it, after a while. You can 'almost' see the fangs.
  9. Good old fashioned horror, at it's best. You can almost see the fangs.
  10. Good old what it's supposed to be!
  11. And construction continues on Fantasy Springs in TDS... Overview with Peter Pan show building in the middle. Photos from the net, thanks whoever took them. Fantasy Springs Hotel in front; Frozen-Land in back (with the Beauty/Beast blue "mountains" above the Frozen show bldg).
  12. "You want picnic tables, friend? We got picnic tables!" So many of them. Worth the trouble of setting them all up, I can see. Oh yeah. AWESOME FOOD, by the way! Thanks for sharing your visit there.
  13. It looks like there's going to be a digital TONY Awards, coming this fall... Hope it works out for all involved. EDIT TO ADD: At this point in time, if they do indeed, run a nominees and TONY winners thing....in my humble opinion, it will be a four-way race for BEST MUSICAL for: Moulin Rouge!; Tina:The Tina Turner Musical; Jagged Little Pill; Girl From North Country. Stay tuned until then.
  14. The PNE just posted a "Route Map" showing where the PNE Fair Drive-Thru actually goes, thru the fairgrounds. There is also a complete menu for all the food stalls/trucks there in the Fair Food Zone: https://www.pne.ca/files/uploads/2020/08/Fair20-MenuHandout-8.5x11-menu-1.pdf All prices in Cdn $. (And #9 {Summerland Soft Serve} has Butterbeer Soft Serve available, like last year!) Including where to buy more of those extra cool, creepy yellow Playland masks, too. Thankfully, the Fair Food Zone has a passing lane for people not picking up food. Along the Reverse Parade route. ...Or Creepiness, depending on your point of view. (o:
  15. ....and continuing along..... Tokyo DisneySea has just released a new candy case that was to be for Easter this year. Nonetheless it's available now, thru eBay...and of course, I bought myself one, LOL! Great thing is, all the bunny-chicks are riding rides, including a coaster car. I think. (o;
  16. Have they named the baby, yet? Looks sooooo cute!
  17. Slightly Fixed. I figured a whole group (a family who's quarantined together?) should get together as the Starship Enterprise main crew and do the same, LOL.
  18. ^ Now... how could you even pick that thing up?!! Looks nice and messy.
  19. $98.14 Cdn for French Cuisine Take out last Thurs. (Including frog legs, too!) And $225 today for groceries.
  20. Could some one explain to me, what the 'safety hazard' is with snapping on the flyers? I mean, it totally varies from park to park about this. Some allow it. Others won't. Is it a case of somebody possibly falling out of one of these things? Or something else? I've been wanting to know about this for a long long time, now. Thanks in advance for any answers.
  21. Here's the info. about the upcoming "Drive-Thru PNE Fair Experience"... More can be learned at http://www.pne.ca/fair2020/ And as well, there's a Night Rides evening on the 22nd.... NOTE: Playland tickets are not included with the Drive-Thru Fair Experience. All prices are in Cdn $.
  22. ^ Oops. I didn't think you were criticizing him, at all. I was agreeing with you, totally. Sorry it didn't read that way, to you.
  23. ^ Thanks. I had such a good time, I decided to make my second visit, on the last day that Playland is open - that being Monday Sept.07 - Labour Day, which is the "official closing date" of The Fair....usually. And I want to get at least two rides on Coaster done, this time. But speaking of The Fair. They got something(s) planned.... www.pne.ca/fair2020/ Also on the 22nd. Ride the rides at night, with their lights on!
  24. Well, up until last Sunday when I finally got to ride Coaster in PLayland, the last coaster I had ridden was at the Disneyland Resort...back in mid-September. It still sucks not to be able to ride at least one coaster in this year.
