  1. If only we could buy that parody shirt. And I am too cheap to make one up, myself.
  2. With all the Mardi Gras beads, necklaces, masks, cups and coins this attraction is going to be flooded with (strings of beads in the trees!) in the overall theming, it's going to be so SPARKLY, especially in that big finale scene! By the way, since they started working on this revamp over a year ago, I wonder what their original timeline was with this, and now what it would be, having had the pandemic interrupt the work on it? Disneyland's, as well?
  3. ^ Well, two out of three coasters open...isn't too bad. I am surprised they didn't open the Westcoast (Ferris) Wheel. But that, along with Coaster, will be opened in upcoming phases. And they've also given season pass holders a couple of perks, even though the passes themself, won't be honored at this time. https://www.pne.ca/playland2020/ (Never hurts to repeat, Yes? No?)
  4. ^ Have a great trip...and don't forget that all~important Trip Report (HINT) when you get back.
  5. Great photos from the park! Hope that everything planned, goes "according to", without too many unexpected surprises happening, along the way. "Knock~Loading Station~Wood."
  6. "Super Freak" Rick James
  7. Monday, March 9th ~ 2020 The Invisible Man Most enjoyable, especially within an AVX theatre (no 3D glasses needed). ~~~> When was the last time you had a cavity in a tooth?
  8. ^ Then, they can blow 2nd-hand smoke into each others' faces..... more safely. You gotta give Tokyo Disney credit, for thinking of the smokers in the world. And for the record, I used to be a smoker (up to 2015)*, so the spot was appreciated. * Now, I am more of a drinker. Ha ha.
  9. ^ You are most certainly allowed to! (Most times.) Ukko Linnanmäki (Helsinki, Uusimaa, Finland) TPR 2014 Scandi Tour.
  10. Carl Reiner, RIP. Comedy genius, especially in early television. Father of Rob. Best friend of Mel Brooks.
  11. Whether the boats rock or not, it still looks wonderful!
  12. Listening to this London Cast recording. The only piece of music I have, that is East Indian-based. And it's produced by Andrew Lloyd Weber (he of "Phantom..." and "Cats" fame). It's really a lovely musical to listen to. I highly recommend buying a copy of the cd. The Original London Cast recording.
  13. This is (I believe) The Day that Pride really started. GOOGLE: Stonewall Riots Happy PRIDE DAY everyone!
  14. ^ I actually wasn't sure how to put my reaction in words to all of his work on this, but you got it darn near perfect, as far as I'm concerned. ^^^ "What she said". And my thanks too, for what you did.
  15. Playland may not be opening until July 10th, but those at The PNE have got other stuff cooked up for everybody's enjoyment... This is will be a drive thru event, again. Here's how they describe it: https://www.pne.ca/canada-day/ for more information and tickets. And BY THE WAY.... I would really like to know, if there is any other park, doing this kind of thing, like the PNE and Playland are doing? I think this is really cool of them, to figure out stuff, in regards to the pandemic, etc. It's mostly drive-thrus they've been doing, but hey - sell outs and they extended one of them. Certainly unique among parks. GOOSE!
  16. ^ Well.... Florida, Texas, and California are where current massive increases are happening, I heard/read/saw......so.... yep.
  17. ^ Very nice. Wish I could get over there to ride this - and enjoy the whole park again. My last visit there - TPR 2010 Europe Tour - When 'film' was still a thing, lol.
  18. Dr. Pepper
  19. Geez. With the massive increases in CoVid-19 cases happening in theme park states lately, I wouldn't be surprised if some parks and/or franchise parks soon change their plans and close up shop a second time. And naturally, there will be Theme Park Riots. Just sayin'.
  20. ^ It looks amazing from above! And it's going to be quite a thrilling ride with so many 'close calls' with the surrounding walls and buildings. That straight piece of track in the middle there. Might that be launch track?
  21. I am bored. So.....'R'. But - it's actually in the same park as 'Q' ! Rockin Roller Botton's Pleasure Beach (Skegness, Lincolnshire, England, United Kingdom) It's up there in the right corner. Don't mind the credit whores, below. TPR 2010 UK Tour.
  22. ^ Ah cool. Nice to know, thanks!
  23. Can I just ask? Why is "Little Amerricka" called that? With two 'r's and all? Just curious of me, thanks in advance.
  24. ^ If they throw a few beads around, and offer up beignets and cafe' au lait for the taking, I'll be sold! Actually, they may create it's own mini-land, like they've done in Hong Kong DL, all around the main berm of the park. (i.e. Grizzly Gulch, Mystic Point, Toy Story Land) P.S. Call it "Bayou Mountain", or "Mardi Gras Mountain," etc.
