  1. This is (I believe) The Day that Pride really started. GOOGLE: Stonewall Riots Happy PRIDE DAY everyone!
  2. ^ I actually wasn't sure how to put my reaction in words to all of his work on this, but you got it darn near perfect, as far as I'm concerned. ^^^ "What she said". And my thanks too, for what you did.
  3. Playland may not be opening until July 10th, but those at The PNE have got other stuff cooked up for everybody's enjoyment... This is will be a drive thru event, again. Here's how they describe it: https://www.pne.ca/canada-day/ for more information and tickets. And BY THE WAY.... I would really like to know, if there is any other park, doing this kind of thing, like the PNE and Playland are doing? I think this is really cool of them, to figure out stuff, in regards to the pandemic, etc. It's mostly drive-thrus they've been doing, but hey - sell outs and they extended one of them. Certainly unique among parks. GOOSE!
  4. ^ Well.... Florida, Texas, and California are where current massive increases are happening, I heard/read/saw......so.... yep.
  5. ^ Very nice. Wish I could get over there to ride this - and enjoy the whole park again. My last visit there - TPR 2010 Europe Tour - When 'film' was still a thing, lol.
  6. Dr. Pepper
  7. Geez. With the massive increases in CoVid-19 cases happening in theme park states lately, I wouldn't be surprised if some parks and/or franchise parks soon change their plans and close up shop a second time. And naturally, there will be Theme Park Riots. Just sayin'.
  8. ^ It looks amazing from above! And it's going to be quite a thrilling ride with so many 'close calls' with the surrounding walls and buildings. That straight piece of track in the middle there. Might that be launch track?
  9. I am bored. So.....'R'. But - it's actually in the same park as 'Q' ! Rockin Roller Botton's Pleasure Beach (Skegness, Lincolnshire, England, United Kingdom) It's up there in the right corner. Don't mind the credit whores, below. TPR 2010 UK Tour.
  10. ^ Ah cool. Nice to know, thanks!
  11. Can I just ask? Why is "Little Amerricka" called that? With two 'r's and all? Just curious of me, thanks in advance.
  12. ^ If they throw a few beads around, and offer up beignets and cafe' au lait for the taking, I'll be sold! Actually, they may create it's own mini-land, like they've done in Hong Kong DL, all around the main berm of the park. (i.e. Grizzly Gulch, Mystic Point, Toy Story Land) P.S. Call it "Bayou Mountain", or "Mardi Gras Mountain," etc.
  13. Q - Queen Bee - Botton's Pleasure Beach, UK Buzz Buzz!
  14. BIG NEWS! The PNE has put together a new "letter to the public" outlining what's happened with The Fair (they finally announced it as being cancelled, and replaced instead with a drive-thru "2020 PNE Fair Experience" event) and what's happening with Playland, etc. Here's the link to the entire letter, but here is The Paragraph that outlines what is going to happen specifically with Playland. https://www.pne.ca/letter/ I also admire the way PNE is naming the non-medical face masks as...Fun Face Masks! Very cool idea to name them (and design them) that way. More kids/adults/families will (hopefully) want to wear them, then! Soon, soon. And if these ^ are the Fun Masks... awesome! The Group Shots should be so fun!
  15. ^ And Donald's nephews already have the Camp Woodchuck Kitchen across the way, so.... why not a Chip 'n Dale-themed Splash Mountain? Works for me.
  16. ^ Well, if this causes them to extend the borders of New Orleans Square... ...won't be very much of a "square" anymore. And good old Critter Country will be "downsized" a bit. (I do realize that Haunted Mansion already changed that.) Or, they'll leave it all as is, and this will be a 'bridge' of sorts, between the two lands.
  17. ^ Well poop on that. (I'm just sad that it's not able to re-open on it's 66th Anniversary.)
  18. Well, at least now, I know where the old statue will go. Adventureland is looking sooooo much better, than when I visited it in....1976. (I also learned to drive, that trip to Iowa and back to Vancouver. Great road trip it was.)
  19. Lucky you guys. Wish we had the bar that they open in Playland, during the PNE, open for Playland. The place for beers & beverages...during the PNE, in Playland.
  20. Have a great trip, however you've worked it out!
  21. DLPR just announced their re-opening around mid-July, and I will leave that PR to the TPR mods. (Actually, it's the day after Bastille Day, that DLP re-opens. Perfect timing!) But - what really caught my attention, was the artwork of Catastrophe Canyon in WDS they released as well, as themed for the new CARS Route 66 attraction! Very cool to see. They're really going to use CC for this CARS-themed attraction... Woo hoo! I just hope that the Dinoco truck doesn't just keep smiling throughout the 'catastrophe,' heh.
  22. I know this is nearly three months old, but the video still resonates with the current world events. This was all the (then) current companies (5 of 'em) of Come From Away, including the NA touring company we saw last year. And it's coming back to us next year, end of March. Enjoy. https://www.broadway.com/buzz/198945/five-companies-of-come-from-away-sing-welcome-to-the-rock-in-a-moving-tribute-to-world-theatre-day/ Video courtesy of Broadway.com ~ thanks!
  23. ^ But very few do, here. Have class, I mean. Great TR of Duinrell! Several of us enjoyed it (via bus, ha!) as a personal add-on, after the 2010 TPR Europe Tour.
  24. Today, it's..... To all the Daddies in the world!
  25. ^ Wow. That's a long timeline for re-openings. Hope it all works for Disney and the guests.
