To some visitors, "it's all over" in their heads, and proceed to act like anything that deters them is a Total Inconvenience. Bummer. I do not miss those people at all, at any park, any time of day. -

Nick Cordero. 41. RIP Broadway has been following and supporting his wife, in his struggle with Co-Vid 19. Here's a link to his TONY-nominated performance in the musical treatment of "Bullets Over Broadway."

Good Eating Outside of Theme Parks

^ I think that gets covered in all the theme parks' threads, here. Just saying. But there may an old link-thread to re-connect with. I forget if there is one. And lo & behold... https://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=715&hilit=theme+park+food Enjoy. -
^ Lots of people in our area are doing the same thing. Not distancing themself from others, no masks, acting like it's all over and they've nothing to fear. Me and my David are older (67 and 73) so we're constantly freaked out about going out for grocery shopping, etc. together. Taking care we're doing everything right...and then running into, and around, people shopping there who obviously don't give an f about taking precautions. My grrrrrr, too.

...or, "Riding the bus just got a lot more nauseating" ~ rethinkCanada These final past ads I'm going to post, were actually "ads that moved", and when they were on moving transit... well, it would have been something to see other riders looking up....and then....? Here's the link to the actual videos of them. And from there you can explore other ads Rethink did for Playland, these past 14+ years. https://rethinkcanada.com/work/playland/2017/print-outdoor/playland-transit-ads/ I just posted here a still from one of the 3 videos. So, click and enjoy at your own risk. -

If only we could buy that parody shirt. And I am too cheap to make one up, myself. -
With all the Mardi Gras beads, necklaces, masks, cups and coins this attraction is going to be flooded with (strings of beads in the trees!) in the overall theming, it's going to be so SPARKLY, especially in that big finale scene! By the way, since they started working on this revamp over a year ago, I wonder what their original timeline was with this, and now what it would be, having had the pandemic interrupt the work on it? Disneyland's, as well?

^ Well, two out of three coasters open...isn't too bad. I am surprised they didn't open the Westcoast (Ferris) Wheel. But that, along with Coaster, will be opened in upcoming phases. And they've also given season pass holders a couple of perks, even though the passes themself, won't be honored at this time. https://www.pne.ca/playland2020/ (Never hurts to repeat, Yes? No?) -

^ Then, they can blow 2nd-hand smoke into each others' faces..... more safely. You gotta give Tokyo Disney credit, for thinking of the smokers in the world. And for the record, I used to be a smoker (up to 2015)*, so the spot was appreciated. * Now, I am more of a drinker. Ha ha. -

Listening to this London Cast recording. The only piece of music I have, that is East Indian-based. And it's produced by Andrew Lloyd Weber (he of "Phantom..." and "Cats" fame). It's really a lovely musical to listen to. I highly recommend buying a copy of the cd. The Original London Cast recording.
