I always wanted to combine a trip to here and then up to Tokyo Disney. Hong Kong is really a wonderful park, with lots of room for growth. (And a rumored possible second park opposite it, eventually) Maybe it'll happen in our not-too-distant future. "Our Tribe in AdventureLand". TPR 2012 China/HongKong Tour.

I have to reflect and say, now that she's sadly passed away..... One of my absolute all time fave tv shows, and it was black and white back then, was....The Avengers. With Patrick Macnee and the glorious Dame Diana Rigg. As Mr. John Steed.....and Mrs. Emma Peel. Glorious, fun and (rarely) serious show. That's worth a binge viewing, soon. ^^ Thanks. I just love the whole place (Thanks to Robb and Elissa's tours), and wish I could vacation there, every season, and stay in the Mira Costa Hotel in TDS, lol! ^ Adorable and HUGE! Each one seats 10 people, four in the front row, six in the back. Truly the biggest ride vehicles Disney has ever created so far, for a trackless attraction. And if it's six vehicles they send out with every dispatch, that's 60 guests, riding at once! EDIT TO ADD: Just announced that TDL will start Soft Openings tomorrow, Monday/21st for Enchanted Tale, all done through TDLR's app. See http://www.tdrexplorer.com for more 'detales'. It's sort of like TDL's "Pooh's Hunny Hunt" trackless vehicles, on steroids! -

Sounds like a good deal to me. Cost? I know my Euros. -
^ Also agree, about the dialogue moving along so fast! Both me and David actually looked at each other, from time to time, saying "what did he/they say?" Then of course, we'd miss some other (usually) important dialogue.

We saw Tenet last week. First of all, the whole theatre experience was, to put it in a word.....wierd. When we first ordered our tickets online (which we had to do ahead of time, no cashiers at the theatres), the seating map presented to us for choosing seats, showed at least 20 or so already taken. All spaced apart, which was fine to us. It showed the theatre chain was working the covid thing out. But when we got to the theatre, got our popcorn, and into the theatre, we discovered there were only three other people to see the movie! No body else came in after the movie started. So this was very strange to us, about the seating map. The movie was fine, although with a Christopher Nolan film, "fine" isn't exactly that easy to describe it. "Time inversion" was the main theme of it all. And although it was explained again and again and A-GAIN in the film, I still had trouble just accepting it and "going with the flow" so to speak. And the dialogue. You really had to listen to everything being said in this movie. No dozing off, here. Miss 5 minutes of dialogue, and you might miss key elements to the plot, etc. We did enjoy it. But would I see it again? Probably not. I do recommend it to see it on the Big Screen. Especially when all the backwards/forwards stuff starts happening, at the same time. 8/10 Popcorn Bags

This has just been posted by the PNE: I hopefully assume, those who bought tickets online beforehand, will get some kind of a refund for Saturday? https://www.pne.ca/playland2020/ Just for this Saturday coming up. NOT for the entire park itself! -

NEW UPDATE: The opening of the new Beauty and the Beast ride at Tokyo Disneyland and its expansion is confirmed to open September 28, 2020! This includes (hopefully) the new Minnie Meet & Greet; The Happy Ride w/Baymax; and most importantly...the new POPCORN shop, called The Big Pop! The new live stage show (and theatre) is not part of this opening, and will open later on. More on this from tdrexplorer.com ~ https://tdrexplorer.com/beauty-and-the-beast-tokyo-disneyland/ -

Very true words, here. I rode it in the TPR Mexico Tour, in 2013. Absolutely astounded at how well it rode, etc. etc. And the whole park itself, felt nice (and different enough). Missed the Medusa tranformation, though. -

^ Bless Emma Peel and Lady Tyrell. And Phyllis Rogers Stone, too! She was in the first London production of Follies, in 1987.

Great TR! And I love the look of the old style bumper cars. This (and the layout with the center part to "drive around") looks exactly like the original bumper cars building we had at Playland(PNE). Miss that, and glad Knoebels still has one like that. Also, the Roll-o-plane/Satellite going "sideways" (9 and 3 o'clock points) is great, too! The last couple of them I had been on, for some reason, didn't do the sideways maneuver. Which is a shame, since the cycle was made to include it. And... Deep Fried Alligator? Hmmm. Worth a try, I suppose. Thanks for sharing your recent visit, there.

^ No comment. And Sunset Walk Orlando is holding an inaugural Best Burger Contest, with the gp purchasing tasting cards and sampling burgers from 12 different businesses! Here's the link to it: https://www.sunsetwalk.com/events/best-of-challenge-burgers-edition/ Now how in heck can one "sample taste" one of these??? Photo from SWO.

I just got back home from my last visit to Playland(PNE) this season. And got myself an onride photo of me (and my mask) on Coaster. Where I usually sit, in Row 3. (o; The cashier remembered me from previous years, and was very happy I had returned, as she's always enjoyed my on-ride poses for the camera, LOL!

I went for my last visit to the park, earlier today. Not much to tell, except that it was sure quiet in parts of the park. A few of the flats were down, which made me sad, since I really enjoyed my ride on Gladiator last visit, and definitely wanted to ride it one more time. Not to be. I still got to chat with a number of the staff there, and wished them (and Playland) all well, for the coming year/season. One more visit. Got two rides in, and I was happy with that. "Three Rides for The Entire Season", heh. New (to me) circlular distance markers, besides the small rectangular ones. A trees shot, outside the gate. The most landscaping this park has, IS at the front gate! Instead of distance markers there were these pink 'dots' in the Sea-to-Sky Swinger queue. Cute. "Swing and Sway" Isn't there supposed to be a tumbleweed here, rolling by? Not so haunted, at this time. Even ghosts and ghouls need to socially distance from each other. One of these is not operating today. And AtmosFEAR was thankfully, testing. A nice clear shot, from the West Coast Wheel. Meanwhile..... nothing 'new coaster-ish' happening here. Probably not until next year. I'm hoping. White Spot PR. "Triple O" is the name of their burger sauce, truth! Their "Secret Sauce" they call it, although the taste does resemble "slightly" 1000 Island dressing. Hmmm. Whatever. It's sold the burgers for decades. (o: Choices. And note. In Cdn $ I just got some fries and a shake. That's all I wanted. Both were great, as usual. For $10. And one more Coaster ride, with the On-Ride shot taken. Bye Bye Playland, till (hopefully) next year! (o: I love these Beast masks! Photo from Playland(PNE).
