  1. They're building a second Lightning Rod, beside the first one! Turning it into a racing coaster! Yeah, take this as a serious suggestion, ha ha.
  2. ^ Just felt lousy yesterday. I've been having a back problem and although we're treating it with pills, on-phone chat with our doctor.... and now spending a few visits with my very first chiropractor.... Pain comes and goes, day to day. Yesterday was a crap crap crap kind of day, heh. (Feeling much better today, though.)
  3. crap crap crap
  4. ^ My only concern is those who insist on wearing gawd-knows-the-height in high heels in any park! Eep. Any of the Klassy Kruise line patrons we know and love, I just can't figure out, when it comes to comfortable clothing and shoes to wear to these parks.....WHY? My 4-3/4 cents.
  5. What is it, about having an egg on a burger, that is great? Just asking, because I'm not one for having a burger that way.
  6. ^ No, and here's a separate thread for fave television series.... https://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=756
  7. ^ I foresee a lot of candy being....tossed. Or small nets on long poles to hand out the goodies to kids. Safely.
  8. Well I sure jinxed that, kind of fast I'd say.
  9. Great shots, Marcus. Hope you are able to use your "new photo spot" more times, in the future.
  10. In the last few weeks, I have received several EXTRA Playland face masks in the regular snail mail! I would like to either thank somebody for so many extra masks (mostly the second BEAST masks they came up with), or maybe wonder that my initial actual order of masks got somehow 'stuck'. But that diesn't make sense, because this second new package sent to me was 4 Beast masks AND 1 Yellow Playland one. Not the kind of order I would put in, that way. Oh, and this wasn't the first extra package I got! I got a first extro one (that make sense) a couple of weeks back, but still with my usual mailing label on it. Which reminds me, this second extra one's address to me was hand written on the envelope. Hmmm... So....what to do? First, this is where I wanted to tell somebody about it, other than David, even if only through this forum. And second it IS a Very Happy Accident, if it's being done on purpose. And I appreciate whoever is doing it for me, with many thanks. Thirdly, I don't want to get any PNE/Playland/Office staff in trouble for favoring me with some extra masks, gratis. So all that said....Happy Accident I am having, with a lot of Beast masks, to send to friends in October!
  11. Wave pool. Couch or Sofa?
  12. ^ Not until you spell it, correctly. Just saying.
  13. Just announced by Playland(PNE)! Playland is presenting in October, what's going to be called SLAYland ~ Night of A Thousand Screams All the information is here: https://www.pne.ca/slayland/ But this is the description of it all, at Ticketleader: Hmmm. Will have to think about which weekend to go, for it's "theme." I did like the NEON Night, last year. Maybe....I'll go as a....Neon Fantasy???
  14. ^ You are so lucky to have both resorts, that close to your family! And Shanghai DL, too! Forget France and The Americas! Lucky, lucky, lucky! Early (veryearlygrrrrrr) First Riders on Grizzly Mine Train Coaster! TPR 2012 China/HongKong Tour. Photo taken by Robb. Thanks!!!
  15. I always wanted to combine a trip to here and then up to Tokyo Disney. Hong Kong is really a wonderful park, with lots of room for growth. (And a rumored possible second park opposite it, eventually) Maybe it'll happen in our not-too-distant future. "Our Tribe in AdventureLand". TPR 2012 China/HongKong Tour.
  16. Ling Bao (and Bar) Hotel Rawks!
  17. I have to reflect and say, now that she's sadly passed away..... One of my absolute all time fave tv shows, and it was black and white back then, was....The Avengers. With Patrick Macnee and the glorious Dame Diana Rigg. As Mr. John Steed.....and Mrs. Emma Peel. Glorious, fun and (rarely) serious show. That's worth a binge viewing, soon. The Original "(THE) AVENGERS" - Mr. Steed & Mrs. Peel.
  18. ^^ Thanks. I just love the whole place (Thanks to Robb and Elissa's tours), and wish I could vacation there, every season, and stay in the Mira Costa Hotel in TDS, lol! ^ Adorable and HUGE! Each one seats 10 people, four in the front row, six in the back. Truly the biggest ride vehicles Disney has ever created so far, for a trackless attraction. And if it's six vehicles they send out with every dispatch, that's 60 guests, riding at once! EDIT TO ADD: Just announced that TDL will start Soft Openings tomorrow, Monday/21st for Enchanted Tale, all done through TDLR's app. See http://www.tdrexplorer.com for more 'detales'. It's sort of like TDL's "Pooh's Hunny Hunt" trackless vehicles, on steroids!
  19. Sounds like a good deal to me. Cost? I know my Euros.
  20. ^ Also agree, about the dialogue moving along so fast! Both me and David actually looked at each other, from time to time, saying "what did he/they say?" Then of course, we'd miss some other (usually) important dialogue.
  21. We saw Tenet last week. First of all, the whole theatre experience was, to put it in a word.....wierd. When we first ordered our tickets online (which we had to do ahead of time, no cashiers at the theatres), the seating map presented to us for choosing seats, showed at least 20 or so already taken. All spaced apart, which was fine to us. It showed the theatre chain was working the covid thing out. But when we got to the theatre, got our popcorn, and into the theatre, we discovered there were only three other people to see the movie! No body else came in after the movie started. So this was very strange to us, about the seating map. The movie was fine, although with a Christopher Nolan film, "fine" isn't exactly that easy to describe it. "Time inversion" was the main theme of it all. And although it was explained again and again and A-GAIN in the film, I still had trouble just accepting it and "going with the flow" so to speak. And the dialogue. You really had to listen to everything being said in this movie. No dozing off, here. Miss 5 minutes of dialogue, and you might miss key elements to the plot, etc. We did enjoy it. But would I see it again? Probably not. I do recommend it to see it on the Big Screen. Especially when all the backwards/forwards stuff starts happening, at the same time. 8/10 Popcorn Bags
  22. Dancing In The Streets ~ Martha Reeves & The Vandellas
  23. This has just been posted by the PNE: I hopefully assume, those who bought tickets online beforehand, will get some kind of a refund for Saturday? https://www.pne.ca/playland2020/ Just for this Saturday coming up. NOT for the entire park itself!
  24. ...and I just found two photos released by Disney, on the Beauty/Beast Attraction! This is the unload area of the attraction. The "Be Our Guest" part of the attraction. And you can see Belle at the end of the table!
  25. NEW UPDATE: The opening of the new Beauty and the Beast ride at Tokyo Disneyland and its expansion is confirmed to open September 28, 2020! This includes (hopefully) the new Minnie Meet & Greet; The Happy Ride w/Baymax; and most importantly...the new POPCORN shop, called The Big Pop! The new live stage show (and theatre) is not part of this opening, and will open later on. More on this from tdrexplorer.com ~ https://tdrexplorer.com/beauty-and-the-beast-tokyo-disneyland/
