  1. I was thinking it might be a better time, to head (back) to the resort in... 2018? By this posted list, there's no definite opening date, at this time, for Toy Story Mania, and I would like to get a look-see-ride that, having never ridden the ones in the US, and I still missed the one in TDS ... And all the rest will/might be finished by then, too! So, after the DLPR visit we're doing this September...will hold back for a revisit, with revisits to TDLR in the meantime.
  2. I must admit. One of the plain old flat rides at Playland (PNE), I just love to head to, usually a few times in my visit, and ride it. There's a spot when you reach the 'top' of the swing up, and when you close your eyes it's like you're hovering almost with "air time" LOL. A very Zen Spot for myself, I must say. Always worth a re-ride and easily a walk-on, no matter what day of the season it is - PNE is a bit more crowded, but still.... I can't remember what it's generic name is, but I always enjoy Gladiator, and got to ride a much faster, more intense one in Sweden last summer! This one was at Skara Sommerland, and it - was - crazy - amazing! (TPR 2014 Scandi Tour)
  3. With the sky the way it is, that second photo almost looks like a painting to me.
  4. Bless Eminem and the boy he visited at the familys home, before the boy passed away, soon after the visit.
  5. ^ We're not seeing DD until over one year from now! (Jan.13.16) So I do hope the cast that arrives here will be good and not too exhausted from all - that - touring! (I also decided what the heck, and am also getting a ticket for Mama Mia!)
  6. Ooooo! It looks like sooner than later, and less than 3500 posts to do it, TPR will soon have over 1,500,000 Posts!
  7. ^ There's a rumor (still) running around, I had heard, that the engine on the train front would be removed, and the trains would then look what they are like in Grizzly Gulch Runaway Mine Trains at Hong Kong Disneyland. I didn't mind riding the attraction that way, but the front engine is such an iconic part of BTM, I just couldn't see them doing this. So...True? Does anybody know anything yet? Grizzly Gulch Runaway Mine Trains at HKDL. Less fun this way? No! But it still looks a bit wierd without a front engine.
  8. ^ I know, I know this would cut into their dispatch numbers etc. but pleeeze bring Back the DL Matterhorn Single Cars! I remember riding them in 1963 and it was awesome, especially the left side track of it! I remember this, at ten years old! It was honestly my very first adult-style coaster, but made family style coaster by Disney. And Tubular Steel Tracks were The First Use of... for the Matterhorn, too (1959). That's historic. And why not, Bring Back the Skyride THRU the Matterhorn, LOL!
  9. They are! They are! And this is one of The Best there is in an UltraTwister - Rusutsu Park, Japan. How so, I hear you ask?...
  10. ^ Could happen, Chris. Works for me. I just realized, in the coaster/castle part, "Marshmallow" has to be somewhere. And out of sight, till Surprise! Like Abominable in Matterhorn and/or (poor) Yeti in Exp:Everest. Everybody - meet/remember Marshmallow?
  11. Any videos with ANY of the Big Thunder Railroads in ANY of the Disney parks, that have one. I love how the Japanese crammed so much into the space they had for BTM. AND added a tunnel for the train ride, too! (o:
  12. Although this quote is about a "possible" clone of the Dwarfs Mine Train in TDL, I think it could easily apply about Arendelle and what it will have, to WOW us, eventually. (And the coaster is the Ice Castle!)
  13. Besides the franchises that pop up from park to park, I try and find places to eat in parks that are originals of their own, usually with a themed menu to choose from. One of the best I found, in the TPR Scandi Tour last summer, was the "woodsy" restaurant in Power Park, Finland. At first there was some confusion as to which menu I should be ordering from. Once that was figured out (the boss was a small woman who looked old enough to be my great grandmother - but she was definitely running the ship), and I tried getting a sort of explanation of what I was ordering, my meal arrived (after salad bar), and it turned out to be Pot Roast! But excellently tender with potatoes and veggies on the side. A really filling meal, too much for myself, I discovered. A very nice meal and worth a repeat if and when I ever get back to Power Park. Found the place in the (not so) deep dark forest of Power Park! Mmmm steak. But - it was pot roast instead. And a Very Delicious pot roast it was, too! (o:
  14. I just love that Blackpool has so many dark rides! And of course, Valhalla. Would love to revisit there, some year. Great TR Craig! And longest - train ride - ever.
  15. I: I, Robot
  16. This was on the Pizza Hut menus on our TPR China Tour in 2012...But none of us wanted to either take it on solo, or share, LOL! Don't know if they still list it on their menus, now. And there's one for vegetarians too! V It's called the Crown Pizza. Possibly in India. Truth!
  17. Question to those who know Wallibi Holland as their home park, or close by... When do online single day tickets usually go on sale? The site appears to have already posted their Halloween thing, of which there are already sellouts. I would rather buy my ticket ahead of arriving, instead of standing in queue, etc. Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks! On La Grande Roue. And one of my very first Haunted Swing attractions, in WW/H in 2008. And it was great!
