PowerPark Discussion Thread
Nrthwnd replied to mad_dog_BB's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Oh I knew that. I should have made it more clear. I meant the area outside of the Jet Ski waterway, and thought that maybe they would extend the water area under the coaster, and up and around the Jet Ski, too. Thanks for naming the ride for me. I can never quite remember what is which is what flat ride....dry or wet. And by the way, the new photos of the coaster look awesome! -

Looking at the above photo, I get the feeling there's going to be a lot more water in that area, and not just under the coaster! That flat ride in front, certainly looks like there's also a ridge around it for water, as well as the coaster. It's going to be great! -

...And if you time it with the train ride there, it just might pass under the coaster while a train rockets by! -

I had to stop at 1:10. The "spin cycle" was starting to make me ill. -

There's these sets of Mini-Mystery Figures, by FUNKO, about 3" high, and of course, randomly in boxes, so you never really know which one you'll get....or repeat. I've bought one or two in the past, but now I am collecting the FROZEN set, that apparently I can (currently) get only online. So be it. I like them. Just bought 4 more thru Amazon.ca in Canada. Cost me about $12.50 Cdn each. But hey - they're fun and I'd rather spend my money on this than (ahem) bills, food, taxes, usual crap. I have three, and one repeat. Hopefully the next 4 I have bought will all be different. (o;

^ That's true. Well, whether one level or two, it's certainly going to be something special in this park. -

Disney and More posted another construction photo on their Facebook page. And it's the park's merry-go-round/carousel. A two-leveled one! This will be the second two-level one they've built, after the one in Tokyo Disney Sea. Great! -

And it still ran like crap when we went on it, back then. My neck always stiffened (actually my whole body stiffened) when I knew a turn or a drop was coming up. Very unpleasant ride. So I agree, putting the Matterhorn cars backwards won't give riders any new 'sensations' except pain and frustration. It just wouldn't work with this one.

What our AirMiles gets us, lol! I used to fly with United a lot, on my earlier trips to the States. But now, it's whatever is available, and works with our travel schedule, etc. But it still is a good deal, with us only having to pay fees/taxes for any flight, instead of the whole coast of the flight, itself.

Holiday World (HW) Discussion Thread

^ Seriously? Thunderbird Ice Cream??? I want it. I know I have seen this done with food like potato chips and cereal, but that's generally advertising for the park itself, and not a specific ride or coaster. Never seen ice cream done this way, before. Cool! -

^ What is the HW rep holding in his hand? Looks like ice cream, but I could be mistaken. -
