  1. Couldn't resist. It'll be just a few months, before I get to a Disney Resort ('Alo Pareee!), and hopefully buying some great theme-park music on cd, available. That said, I couldn't resist and got myself a copy cd of the (I hear) awesome stage show at Animal Kingdom, "Finding Nemo: The Musical". Written by the creators of the hugely funny Broadway TONY Winner - "Avenue Q", the Lopez' Mr&Mrs. Not to mention Mr.Lopez' outstanding work on a little show called "the Book of Mormon"? I have never seen this park show, but who knows? Future plans notwithstanding. But I was still interested in the score since I had read so many positive reviews about it, from those who have seen the show at DAK. So - cost me near $50 Cdn incl.shipping. But I'm thinking it'll be worth it. See it NOW at Disney's Animal Kingdom! (o:
  2. Eep. Should look pretty freeky with the right night lighting.
  3. I would call it a "sleek design" for this coaster. Looks sweet. Speed should be great.
  4. And that couple behind you, as witnesses. It looks like. Perfect timing. Congratulations!
  5. ^ True. And like I said, till they start actually building it all, we'll never really know what's what. Thankfully, there is still some fun in "not knowing..." By the way, Chris, that building on the other side of the Port looks like the stave church that sits in front of EPCOT's old Maels- pardon, new-to-be Frozen attraction. And the gazebo there looks lovely, too. Also, if you look at the artwork on the upper right edge of it, you can see the start of the probable connecting path to the Lost River Delta. On the other side of the waterway. Very nice. Look familiar? (o: This is where the new pathway from the new port, should connect. Lost River Delta! (TPR 2013 Japan Tour)
  6. ^ I highlighted the section, where OCL mentions the attractions number. Of course, things will change as the eventual details are worked on. But it would be nice if there are in fact, "multiple major attractions" as stated. Let's see here - one E-ticket Ride, a Stage Show, maybe a "C" ticket ride. That's good for a start. (o;
  7. P: Peter Pan (1953)* *This is also in honor of the recently (TONY) snubbed "Finding Neverland", a musical based on "How Peter became Pan". And it opened in my birthyear, 1953!
  8. Ocean Park - Hong Kong Over view of part of OP from the Observation Tower. TPR 2012 China Tour.
  9. Hmmm. "Muddy Good Fun" Does that mean this place is open during the rainy times, Craig? That would be a heck of a workout, if it is. Great report on a truly unique themed park.
  10. Man, I wish I had a kids' area like this... when I was a kid. It all looks fantastic, with a lot of great photo ops for families.
  11. I woke up late to this.... Awesome concept art for Scandinavia/Arendelle and the new Alice in Wonderland area. And in Scandinavia it appears to me like the castle itself won't be the entryway to the E-Ticket attraction. More likely, these mine-like entrances (and exits?) just under where Elsa's ice castle is. Or, you enter through these, and exit into the gift shop, which 'happens' to be the castle itself. Whatever the case, it's wonderful that it's all Official now. Woo hoo! Over here in this area, might be where the queues and entrys are for the big E-ticket ride in Arendelle/Scandinavia. Reminder shot #1 - Where the show building for the new port will be. (taken from the monorail) Reminder shot #2 - Where the new castle will be in the distance. And all of Arendelle on the right, there. (o: (taken from the closest bridge, across the waterway)
  12. A great looking (and sounding) First Test Run. With APPLAUSE!
  13. Valerie Amy Winehouse
  14. ^ Too - much - bunny. And ^^ Every time I was at Liseberg, finding a t-shirt wasn't easy, and wasn't everywhere in the park. It was a challenge, but I did find something, although now it doesn't fit me, lol. There were HELIX shirts available, last summer TPR was there. I got one. But another one, especially of a flat ride, is great! And if these shirts are popular, they may come up with a more "metal" look to another version.
  15. Great coverage of the event, Robb! And Thunderbird looks absolutely gorgeous! Not to mention the ride itself, by the looks of the POV. Yes, another hit for HW! And by the way, I think I found a new logo for The Smiler...
  16. Hmmm. Looks like somebody's been smokin' something, when drawing those windows. (Outside theming and Highland Fling both looking great, by the way...)
  17. ^ If you become a member of Club TPR, there are numerous benefits and savings, currently available to a lot of parks around the world. Including Europa! (And many many thanks to Club TPR for getting all these discounts, too.)
  18. I also just discovered a link at Screamscape.com that takes you to a drone cam flight over part of the park! Mostly over FantasyLand, but it really shows you the HUGEness of the place! http://v.qq.com/cover/w/w655v5q5j842xsx.html?vid=p0147cwmghq And thank you V.QQ.com and Tencent Paike for this awesome video! It also looks like the film was posted January 1st. And there's a catchy soundtrack on it, too! Hmmm. Wonder if Disney had anything to do with it?
  19. ^YAY! Hey, it took over four years to get to us, for only six nights! But like you say, "better late than..." And I found this quote from Broadway.com, just posted... But - what the heck does it mean a "sit-down" production? Was the audience originally going to stand for the entire performance?
  20. "The Wizard of Oz" in 12 minutes? I hope for some kids, this isn't their first viewing of the film.
  21. ^ And it's a WIN for Canada! Which also makes me wonder why in heck they aren't over here in Vancouver, somewhere?
