  1. Great TR Neil! The mix of everything there looks great. Was there any one attraction you really liked the best, coaster or non-? And did you eat there as well? How was the food, if so?
  2. Eejanaika / ええじゃないか Fuji-Q Highland (Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi, Japan) TPR 2013 Japan Tour
  3. Hope your ankle is healing up fast, Robb. And I can say that Lagoon is now on my bucket list.
  4. ^ Thanks for the photo of it. And yes, it does look like they tore up the front facade and did a new one in it's place. Looking at it though, it still does look out of place with everything else that's now been re-themed to the ocean, etc. Maybe now that everything else has been taken care of, it'll be the dark ride's time, lol!
  5. "Paranoid Android" Radiohead
  6. ^^ Angus looks as fluffy as ever, Chuck. and ^ Awwwww, Roxxi looks so sweet, Bert. Our wide-eyed Stella, pushing the furniture aside.
  7. "Leave Someone" The Wilderness of Manitoba
  8. Tornado at Bakken is worth a mention, again. And I still can't figure out the actual layout of the thing! P.S. I also want this coaster and it's layout at Playland! With an OMG lift hill launch, and a twisty turning circuit inside and out of the covering structure. TPR 2014 Scandi Tour.
  9. Always enjoyed this park, whenever I went there. And they have themed everything up so much now! I remember the Enterprise being part of a Lunar/Space Theming thing they had in that part of the park. This looks much better and more fun for families. And Twistrix was pretty crazy when we rode it, back then. And Formule X is great. Fast and zippy. I loved it! Did they clean up or re-do their dark ride facade at all? And inside the ride itself, too? Last visit, it really looked like it could use some Drievliet loving care. Great TR, thank you for sharing your visit there. Ginny exiting SPOOKSALOT in Drievliet Park; TPR 2008 Europe Tour.
  10. ^ The guy who posted that photo, posted it just over a year ago. So unless somebody else knows it's whereabouts, the mystery lives! Then again, it could be a photoshopped photo, yes? No? Then there was the Texas2 burger in Japan. Don't know if it still exists. Yum.
  11. Let's see.... Disko - yes. Air Race - yes. Booster - yes. Everything else there - not so much.
  12. New Single Rider Queue And everything else looks great, too. This will be so much easier to do (in Sept.), as David isn't too keen on repeating his 'rough ride' on it, several years ago. I wanted to "test" it first, see if it's easier for him to ride, and this way is perfect!
  13. Once you have journeyed to the center of the earth... ...nothing else matters.
  14. I have a craving for one right now. Or a couple. These will be fine, for now. (o;
  15. Two nights ago. Baseball steaks. Wrapped in bacon. Blue cheese on top, after grilling. Yum. When was the last time you ate a vegetarian meal?
  16. To me, it looks like it's located between Mexico and Germany (River Quest and Mystery Tower) in the park, with Asia at one end of it, lol. Will be interesting to see which 'country' it belongs to.
  17. Well.... "Unofficial Gay Day At Playland" = Fail For me. I was there after noon, and by the overall look of it, I was The Only One with a red t-shirt (the 'uniform' of a Gay Day at most parks) on! And if there were other red t-shirts around, they were usually on moms and dads, with their kids in tow. We got a good rainfall between 10 am and noon, but by 2 it was really clearing up, with sunshine and warm temperatures! And still, nobody showed up for GD@P, from what I could see. So, I think this is (now) the final say in any hope of another "Gay Day" at Playland, again. Unless the Pride Society picks it back up again, which I doubt they will. Sad. But that's okay. I got my rides in, got my dollar popcorn and drink ($1 refills thru the season, AND the PNE too!), took a few photos, and got my next new anime' capsule toy, and eventually headed home. Artsy Coaster shot. Red train, today. The Beast is looking to eat something! ...And I think it found something! (o; Creepy doll anime' figure from the capsule machine.
  18. ^ Luck Wished!
  19. ^^ Oops. Wrong flat ride I am thinking of. I thought it might be a form of the Paratrooper I have ridden in Japan. But the video shows otherwise.
  20. Happy 40th Anniversary, "A Chorus Line"! Forty years ago, ACL opened on Broadway, on today's date, and eventually became the sixth longest running musical on Broadway. (I had the joy of actually seeing the original cast, in March, 1976.) Photo thanks to www.Broadway.com
  21. This is a fun one - needs no explaining. I usually put a new avatar up during a weekend, or a special day (like a holiday or event). But here's a copy of it below, when I eventually change it back to my regular avatar - Bayside Station at TDLR!
  22. June2013 during the TPR Japan Tour. They do snow cones awesomely! And crepes, and anything with sweet green tea in it, lol! When was the last time you saw a live theatre production?
