  1. ^ Instead of the park being open, for "running visitors" LOLOL. I am just kid-ding! It's nice that they're going to open it like a "city park," and with the shops and eating places open, yes? Actually, it will probably be quite the experience for those who go, and don't also experience, the usual parade of other people running by them for coasters and thrill rides, lol!
  2. ^ They must be planning on having a set up, so they can control the numbers or % in the park. Maybe? Whether it's free admission, or not. I sort of understand why they're doing the system, this way.
  3. ^ So very very true. IMhO too. Thanks for the photos of Winjas in action, Hanno.
  4. Prince Philip, husband of Queen Elizabeth II. Aged 99 years.
  5. And John de Lancie is coming back as "Q" when the new series Picard, returns!
  6. ^^^ All the same, it seems to me that a number of Disney's (and other parks) attractions are those where you have to "work" at it, while you're riding it. i.e. a shooting gallery ride. Whether you are using a handheld device or just hand gestures now, it's still the same practice. Now imagine that the entire Haunted Mansion ride was a "seek and find" shooting ride? Would that be fun, or just overkill? I'm not sure. I also have the feeling that the new Avengers Phase 2 attraction will not only involve a new kind of transport system, but once again, you'll probably be firing at something(s) for either points... or just plain satisfaction, heh. Just noting, here. ^ And yes, it is quite rare to see that food regularly at most parks. Except maybe during a Food Festival, etc. Shawarma Rawks! EDIT TO ADD: Now that I've thought more on it ...... whatever. I'd ride it, once I visited there. I just hope I don't exhaust myself on it! (All those hand gestures, y'know?)
  7. Oooo yes! I just (Birthday) treated myself, to a seat for a showing of "Come From Away" when it heads back our way ..... in 2022! Our Subscription for our "current" musicals season, didn't include this one. They always have an "add-on" for every season. David was fine with seeing it once, in a past season we had. But I always considered seeing it again. It really was that good AND powerful. So be it. I bought it, LOL! Same row and seat, I usually have, too. Cost me $160 Cdn for it. But worth it, I already know. No intermission, and it's nearly two hours of intense musical emotion.
  8. Broadway.com just posted notice that the third and Final Season of POSE will be starting in May! Here's the link to the posting AND an incredible first Trailer for the series. https://www.broadway.com/buzz/200610/watch-billy-porter-mj-rodriguez-more-in-the-emotional-trailer-for-poses-final-season/ I was almost crying by end of the Trailer! In a good crying way. Starts May 2nd, with two episodes that night, and five more after that.
  9. "the rain was especially wet that day"... Sorry, but I just love that quote! And my money's on the "maintenance issue" you suggested.
  10. ^ I hope it works out for all of you, there.
  11. ^ Actually, I'm kinda curious as to what "$!5,000 for the trip" supposedly got him? A room, meals, park tickets, and ........? This is probably where that "jumping the queue" perk came in....
  12. Came across this recent story thru BBC.com ~ So feel good, especially for those in the story. https://www.bbc.com/news/stories-56409764?utm_source=pocket-newtab It's really a very heartwarming story about love, life, and families of all kinds. Pete, Kevin, and Danny. Photo taken in 2019. Go check out this great story for the rest of it.
  13. ^ Ha! That's the way to do it! Tell 'em you paid a lot for that trip! Of course, you should expect special perks.... And jail just happens to be one of them. What an ass.
  14. Part of an exhibit at our PNE, back in 2019. What the actual photo looks like... The exhibit where it was taken. Thanks for taking it, David!
  15. Just thought this up... How about a "Third-Year Reunion Show" * for Schitt's Creek in..... say....... 2025? "The Rosebud Motel" chain could be up and running well (I/we hope) thanks to Stevie, David and Patrick will be celebrating their "Third Year Anny" (Leather, right? Hmmm...), with Mom, Dad, and Sister "back in town" to help celebrate....with new problems dragged along, LOL. I think it'd be awesome if they could do that and pull it all off, with as many of the "townsfolk" they could bring back for it. And Roland, too. Make it a one hour special. That'd work, right? * The joke they would make of the special, is that it's the "Third Year Reunion", but film it and air it in 2025! That way, they could build on whatever happened in the actual year of 2023. And David and Patrick's Third Anniversary? It's still LEATHER. Yup. Woof. It also occurred to me, that Catherine O'Hara could come up with an "altered accent" for Moira, since Moira's been in NYC for three years, as well. Could've changed her accent a bit - or made it worse, LOL. Also, put Johnny Rose in a BALD CAP, and build up a story that it "turns Moira on," so he just kept wearing it, continually... until of course, it falls off (or unglues, choice is theirs) and the whole thing has to be explained. Could work?
  16. ^ Probably. I would love to go to that, at least once in my life. Bucket list "thing."
  17. ^ Well, that'll be a fun, cozy, crowded time at the park. But if you're an RV Freek ....GO FOR IT! (I used to go to the RV shows here in Vancouver, when I was younger. I loved them!)
  18. ^ Well, he did figure it out...and got that ride on WW. See the above On-Ride photo.
  19. Hasn't been posted in a while, but Thank you A.J., Chase, and Robb for working so hard on this poll. I know it means a lot to everyone, for how you've put this all together and made it so easy and workable.

  21. This just in! "White Castle Orlando Raises Signage As It Prepares To Become New Largest White Castle On Earth" Discuss.
  22. Fantasyland Forest Theatre is now open in Tokyo Disneyland! https://www.tokyodisneyresort.jp/treasure/tdl2020/en/foresttheatre/ Map and (fuzzy) image, by Disney.
  23. ^ You have to have a Fun House where air rushes, sends all those skirts and dresses, over their over-coiffed heads, LOL! P.S. Don't hate. I love Drag and grew up with it, and performing with it. They are fierce beings!
