  1. We-re planning to see it next week. It all looks good to us about it, especially Damon.
  2. I find it interesting, in that any future Tusenfryd visit, if it happens to be raining (like it did on the very first add-on days to the UK2006 tour) again, I have no doubt an entire section of the park will be avoided, conveniently located at the bottom of the Other Side of the Mountain, etc. Casualty will be Thors Dark Ride And the furthest I will have to go, is for Thundercoaster.
  3. The Funhouse Queue at The Joker in Six Flags Mexico will always be a neat surprise to me and the others on our TPR 2013 Mexico Tour. And it was all awkward, but not dangerous. Soft landings, if you fell. A great addition to the coaster, itself. Didn't take pix of the queue itself, but I am pretty sure TPR had/has it somewhere.
  4. P: Pindsvinet Fårup Sommerland (Saltum, Jylland, Denmark) TPR 2014 Scandi Tour
  5. Finished the cocktail.
  6. Time to get a cocktail.
  7. Staying at The Sequoia Lodge has been one of my Bucket List things to do, since the Resort first opened in 1992! And stay there, if only for a few nights. The waiting paid off, as we got five nights' stay there, and in a really nice windowed room. With a pretty good view of Lake Disney, if not for all those damned green TALL trees blocking some of The View. And it didn't disappoint, for what we wanted and needed for our stay, there. On our (hopeful) next visit, we might go for a non-lake view, as the surrounding landscaping of the hotel grounds looked just as appealing as Lake Disney (and beyond) did. Also to note: The five nights were a high-scale cost to us. Over $2000 Cdn. But this included the great room we got, the tickets for 6 days to both parks {park hopping could happen, on our Arrival Day!}, Early Magic Morning for a couple of hours in Discoveryland and Fantasyland. That's how we got to repeat our Buzz Lightyear visits and improve our scores, lol! And a nice swimming pool set up with jacuzzi, steam and sauna rooms! The whole deal was easy to decide YES for us. And easily, not every day was spent at The Parks. We had a nice non-parks day at the Village and the pool.... and the cozy yet HUGE bar area in the middle of the hotel. View from the hotel's back decks, on Arrival Day, Sunday Sept.20/15.
  8. Got another one here. I got it in Walibi Holland on my Sept.visit there. The translation of what reads HARD GAAN is... Live Fast! they told me. Two burger patties split, then put into a (kind of) hoagie bun. Fries were great. Actually, fries were ALWAYS great, no matter where we had them, in Amsterdam or Paris OR Disney Paris! It was okay. Fries were better IMhO. Sept.12/15 And there's always MAYO for the fries!
  9. 8/10 Snow Globes. Snow globes. (o:
  10. I loved Nasu Highland Park, when it was our last park on the TPR 2011 Japan Tour. It still looks great, with all the colours of the coasters, the theming, the monorail! Damn that thing was TILTing side-to-side at spots along the rail! Did it happen to any of you? Freeky and exciting at the same time, heh. Great TR AND photos, Aaron! Looking forward to more. One of my favourite photos, from the TPR 2011 Japan Tour. It shows how you can mesh coasters together, and make it all look even more awesome with the right paint/colours/etc. (o: The park in the foreground looks amazing too! One of my Fave Parks in Japan. Easy.
  11. ^ All I gotta say is....Why is Thor...smiling? And what the heck are you two doing...behind Thor's back? Me and David, in our seats on an Air Canada flight, heading to Montreal from Paris, Sept.25. Silly but, really our last photo IN Paris (CDG airport, of course) 25.09.15 ~ 10am-ish.
  12. ^ Too easy. But totally agree.
  13. ^ Will do, Bob! But first... I just filled out, and am about ready to post my Feedback Form to the Sequoia Lodge at Disneyland Paris Resort. I always feel that doing this is just as important in my trip, as all the planning I do in advance of it, etc. No matter where I/we have stayed around the world, and that includes my tours with TPR, I traditionally make it a point to give the hotel Feedback, especially if I can write it down and leave it there. We were just a bit too fast (read: early) in leaving Sequoia, so I grabbed the Form and brought it home to think about, and fill out properly. Signed, sealed and (almost) delivered.... to France!
  14. ^^ Brighton Pier looks very cool, and I have always wanted to visit it. What is that dome in the middle there? Just curious. And how many coasters are there? I can spot three, I think, but a children's coaster must be in there, too. It always looked like a mini-Blackpool to me, lol. And is that a dark ride in the brown coloured building at the right? Hope you visit is a great one.
  15. Awesome tease, Marcus! Looking forward to more, after you get your sleep.
  16. I still love Chicago as a Favourite Feature-length Film. But am now "splitting the top spot" with my (now) Favourite Animated Feature ~ Ratatouille.
  17. I have a new fave, among all the restaurants we ate at, onsite at Disney Paris Resort, during our late Sept.trip there. The steak was tender, the ratatouille itself was great, and the side salad was huge! Dessert was a nice tiramisu for myself, and something non-coffee-ish for David, heh. Bistro Chez Remy was a WIN for us. And we definitely want to go back, if ever we return there. (Hunters Grill buffet at our Sequoia Lodge hotel onsite, came a very close second.) Where we ate. Not my photo. (Thanks to whoever took it) View from our table. And we saw the ride rats returning to the unload station through a window. The steak was awesome, the sauce was AWESOME, the fries were great, the ratatouille itself - magnifique! And I also discovered FANTA Icy Lemon here, too! Wonderful beverage, ice cold. Our desserts. Very yummy. (o:
  18. Extra money in the bank today!
  19. And across the way from Eejanaika... Fujiyama / フジヤマ Fuji-Q Highland (Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi, Japan) the TPR 2007 Japan Tour
  20. It'll be fascinating (to me) to see how they're going to figure out the general walkways that will have to be put around and through (maybe?) this coaster.
  21. Playland's (PNE) Annual Fright Nights Logo, opening on the 9th! Reposted here for posterity. (o:
  22. Sunny and clear skies again, today. And we are waaaay overdue for some wet weather.
  23. While in Amsterdam last month, we found this shop, with something familiar in the window.... Friday, Sept.11, 4pm ~ Rainbow Absolut Vodka can be yours.... for $37 Euros a bottle! (eek)
  24. ^ Hmmm. Somehow I missed that. Oh well. Good it was a false report.
