  1. The Flying Theme by John Williams. The soundtrack "ET".
  2. Filtered water tastes kind of meh.
  3. Actually, there's a second small park I just loved on my first and only visit there. And now it's closed up and no longer open. Kurashiki Tivoli Park Kurashiki, Okayama, Japan First, I found out that this was the first park licensed under the Tivoli name (Copenhagen). Second, when we were there on the TPR 2007 Tour, we didn't have a lot of time to spend there. But the time spent was really nice, with lots of exceptional landscaping around, a few unique rides.... .... and ~ Most Importantly ~ Kristen's Very First Roller Coaster ~ Tivoli Railroad! Me in my flying flan at Kurashiki Tivoli park. TPR 2007 Japan Tour The main landscaped area in the park. I loved it! And that building in back IS(was) part of the park, too!
  4. This is one of my fave small parks, too. Always enjoyed our year to year visits, especially when they've kept it so clean and landscaped, there. And their Haunted House is really one of the best ones I have been through, world-wide. IMhO (EDIT: I'm repeating myself, from Page 20, but that's okay. It's worth repeating.)
  5. ^ Wow, in that first photo, that's the smoothest theming I've seen on this coaster, yet LOL!
  6. ^ Well, this and my faith having been restored in good service - there was, everywhere we went, including the hotel - and great eating places, plus all the amenities of the Sequoia Lodge made us realize we do want to come back again. The Resort has good attractions, including RnR. And other things not found in the other Disney resorts. So this and Tokyo Disney will be fine for us, for re-visits, lol. I mean, Elsa wants us to come back! And buy her! For only 49 Euros!
  7. This looks great during the Holiday Season too... I know it's seen on page 1, but it's still so pretty to look at, again. (o;
  8. Forgot to add to my earlier post, but Efteling is one of my All-Time Favourite Parks in the World to visit. Truth! And knowing this man's work is so obviously treasured and enjoyed by locals, is proof enough to me, this park was put together with love and care, and working for the enjoyment of the public. Top 5 for me at least. And Disney Sea is #1. Followed by.... Me and Jon, in front of the wonderful Indoor Carousel Building, with an assortment of awesome Dioramas and Miniatures Scenes that were amazing to see and look through. And not a thrill ride! TPR 2010 Europe Tour.
  9. We used United for our flight (via Chicago) to Amsterdam. We used Air Canada (via Montreal) for our flight from Paris. Air Canada much more preferred, where ever I fly. Local, or International/Overseas. Selfie of us - On Air Canada Flt. - Paris to Montreal to Vancouver. Almost home! Sept.25-15 (somewhere in time)
  10. Big disappointment. Space Mountain was just as rough and awful, as I remember it 7 years ago, on the TPR tour! It definitely had more lighting effects and projections and such. But the ride itself was just terrible for me. I had ridden this, to test it out for David, and immediately said "No, and I won't even ride it again on this trip." That said, the best one of the major coasters in both parks was a big surprise to me: Rock'N'Roller avec Aerosmith! Smoothest of the bunch, not including Red Racer or Big Thunder they're fine, I felt. Worth a re-ride. And I did on another day's visit. With a 'virgin group' too, who had never ridden it. It was great watching and hearing their surprise and screams, lol. And although Indian Jones-Temple of Peril didn't feel as rough as before. I still wasn't impressed enough for a re-ride on it. But riding it at night was cool, with all the fire effects blazing. Surprisingly Best Coaster of this visit. Taken Sept.24/15.
  11. We saw it. It was great. Matt Damon should get an Oscar nom for this one. Botany can be bootiful.
  12. False. The person below me has never ridden a horse.
  13. Just found a locker! Actually a bunch of locker es. In Amsterdam last month!
  14. When Disney realized it's another way get money hand over fist. btw, Happy B-Day KB. It's all for you!
  15. I am willing to hope that this park will be exactly like how Japan does things, and out-theme anything that's out there, as a flyer coaster. How they'll design and build the flying dinosaurs that hold us up..... chills. I hope.
  16. Thinking the same thing. Also, were the market stalls still as plentiful as they were in 2010? Rows and rows and rows, I remember. Or has that been toned down in numbers? Great TR by the way. There was a lot of stuff there I enjoyed, and even did some shopping at one of those clothing stalls on the sidewalks, lol. I think the funniest part of it all for me, was seeing how many could get into that teeny tiny coaster.... Mike, Ginny and somebody else I remember succeeding. Amazing the ride op let them ride, too. TPR 2010 Europe Tour
  17. Gelatoni? Must of missed that one. Probably too much Tokyo Disney Sea Happiness. ~ Tokyo Disney Sea Happiness ~ Pier 33 ~ TPR 2013 Japan Tour ~ Tokyo Disney Sea Happiness ~ Take 2 ~ Casbah Food Court ~ Tokyo Disney Sea Happiness ~ Take 3 ~ Guess who?
  18. Just a question, but when the heck did Duffy and Shelly Mae get a pet? Who knows? This may be a best friend of theirs, and not a pet. Still. Now available at TDLR.
  19. Stella had a bite on her, near her tail base. So we packed her off to the vet, got it all cleaned up, had her butt shaved, and a stint put it, and the Cone of Shame added for additional insult, lol. So far, she's coping with it. She keeps bumping into stuff, which looks funny at first, but I'm sure she's pretty miserable with it. And has to have it on for... ...two weeks! Everything's the same - except that (#*( cone on. Sleeping among friends.
  20. ^ Personally, and having ridden it several umpteen times, the sooner they get rid of CORKSCREW, the better for the park, itself. It's old, it does shake, it's banged heads, and I've seen it happen to/with others on board. And the FD:3 connection is very very old. The footprint is perfect for an off-the-shelf El Loco, or a Custom Designed El loco, like Vegas' was. What I really, really hope for, on it's space/place. But like we all say - some love it - some hate it - others want it to just go away. Also, I found out Corkscrew wasn't included in the major rides, for Rapid Pass access. It doesn't get busy enough, to warrant that any more. One like this, lifthill facing west, with the mountains in view to the right of the lifthill...a perfect El Loco location.
  21. Californication Red Hot Chili Peppers
  22. Just found some new stuff posted at TDLR site for Halloween. Really cool food of course.... A wonderful looking buffet being offered during the Boo Season. Great candy holder! Duffy, Shellie Mae, and Gelatoni get a little into the season. Of course, there HAS to be Pumpkin Churros, right? (o: And these - in black and white! Awesome!!!
