Quick message from the PNE.... Happy New Year! "Thanks to everyone who celebrated with us in 2021…. Here’s hoping that 2022 sparks more joy and brings more people together!" "The one in the middle, has definitely GOT IT!" -

Who am I, not to repeat everything everyone has said about your photos .... wonderful shots. And that second to last one of Hulk at night - really stunning. I think I can see all of the track there, lol. Thanks again for sharing more great photos from your trips. -

I'll certainly go with Arcades at any park. Fun times. Many quarters spent. Few prizes won. -
Listening to a ten year old Broadway musical ..... the 2011 TONY winner for Best Musical. And it doesn't get old, at this point in time. Hasa diga ebowai. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!

I will admit, that during the time before visiting Disney Paris, I had all the right 'coupons' and reservations for food done and printed out in advance. And for the dining stuff, I could do it two months, by phone, before we arrived there. I can assume this system has probably changed? But for now, I won't concern myself with such stuff. Until we're allowed to go back to Europe, what's the point of worrying about pre-planning, outside of and within Disney Paris?

^ And I have to add.... I actually saw Betty LIVE, on a "$10,000 Pyramid" (that was the top amount, at the time) taping in Los Angeles. And one of The Funniest Moments happened back then. 1984-5. We also spent a whole f-ing other day to see "Price Is Right." Will never do that again, lol. Dick Clark was still hosting Pyramid at the time. It was his creation FYI, and all was going along fine during the game, until.... ...... Out of Betty's mouth comes .... "Oh shit I can't remember" .... and then the entire audience, crew, AND Clark, we all felt apart, laughing. The taping had to obviously stop, back up and start from another spot. But still - it was awesome just for that one hilarious moment between us and her. And I was really hoping they'd keep that blooper of hers. Clark may have, as he was known to do. But they probably taped over it. Maybe. RIP Betty. P.S. Just figured it out! Betty was on Pyramid to help promote "a new series" she was starring in ..... (guess what?) .... Golden Girls. It started airing in the Fall, 1985. So, that's definitely the year that we saw her, on the game show. Kewl!

^ I wonder if that one cost 'extra' to ride in? -
omgomgomgomgomgomg <SAD> Betty White just passed away, today. She was 99. Her 100th would have been January 17th. Very sad.

^ Also, it was/is the novelty of PP using a suspended rail type system, which a lot of the GP (including myself at times) back then hadn't ridden before. And it's built up it's "legendary status" since then. Personally I still enjoy (and will wait in line for) "Alice in Wonderland" as the best of the dark rides at DL, because it is so unique, from the vehicles, to how it starts and ends outside. I am still curious why a copy never went to WDW, etc. And I have no interest in a version of the Tim Burton AiW franchise. And yes, I totally agree on what one has to do nowadays, to go to any Disney park in the States. Too - much - pre-planning involved. It's too exhausting! And ... cell phones are usually needed, which we don't own. Lucky us, huh? (Pardon the detour into Peter Pan space, lol.)

^ .... and the pierogies! -
Today, I had one of the restaurant's specials which was a "Double Pepperoni" pizza, and I added mushrooms to it.. It - was - great! I would definitely order this pizza again. We got snow! And really low temps. which kept the snow around. Noted. Grey skies and "snowflakes" on the window! Double pepperoni with mushrooms. Gorgeous. ...... And I didn't even save a slice for David, HA!

Hello everybody! We are literally snowed in, for this holiday season. Something that is very rare around here in Vancouver. But so be it, it happens every few years or so. David and I are doing fine. Staying indoors a lot, and not going out, unless we absolutely have to. For food and (usual) medical appointments, lol.
Other than that, we hope that every one has a great New Year's! And that 2022 will be ultimately better than the previous two years.

Ha! I just found the pair of old pix I took, from the top of The Tower, in Sept.1975! With old fashioned camera, lol! Definitely shows that Skyride Station that you described. It's at the bottom of the left pic, and the restaurant is clearly there, over the monorail station. With a train leaving the station! And that dirt pile in the bottom of the right photo is where the Revolution was to go, for 1976. Pardon the Retro Side Bar.....

^ Wow. And yum. And drool. Yep, that sums it all up. Do your make notes about what pizzas you've created, for future repeating? I'm sure you do. Actually, your postings here kind of lists all that you use, heh. And .... can we hire you to produce a mess of pizzas for our 50th Anny in April? (ha ha - actually we couldn't afford all that you make - and those delivery charges - lol)
