  1. Stir It Up ~ Bob Marley
  2. ^ Have a great time at both! I'm hoping both Cirque du Soleil's re-imagining of ALEGRIA, and the upcoming tour of HAMILTON will reach us in late ^ April and late May (for Ham). This was our very first Cirque show, back in ...... 2003! And our top seats were ..... $65 each, back then!
  3. Creating a coconut curry chicken dish, tonight. Here's hoping ...... EDIT to add: It turned out awesome! I definitely want to do this recipe again, soon.
  4. Great! I asked, because when TPR was there in 2014, I had the good fortune to run into the actual owner of Power Park and his father, who was there for a visit, just after I had walked through the village. That's when they told me of the history of it all, which was really cool to find out. And a definite great memory of visiting that park,.
  5. I thought the "hatching eggs" for photo ops was pretty cute. Looks like you guys had a great visit there! Thanks for sharing it all. And I am thoroughly sad that I never had any bounce houses in my childhood!
  6. It looks like, at this point in time, the PNE will be going ahead (we hope), this late summer. Woo hoo! Nothing about Playland's 2022 season happening, though. Hopefully, that will be announced, soon. https://www.pne.ca/fair-vendors/ All the info. for this is available at the link.
  7. Here's the pizzas I had in the past couple of weeks, "across the street." All as good as ever. And this Wed. I am repeating my "salad & meat balls" order, w/different salad. And ordering a pickup pizza for later in the evening. It's all good. My 'casual place setting', lol. A repeat of their special "woodcutter's pizza". Or (as it's called) the boscaiola Pizza. Awesome repeat. And I saved a piece for David. This week, I noticed something 'interesting' in the beverages menu. "dat juice, would crush" ..... ???? I mean what does all that mean? I must ask, next visit. Double Pepperoni with Mushrooms added. All nice and chewy with the chile oil.
  8. ^ Those were three of my favourite parks, on past TPR Scandinavian tours ('09 + '14). Power Park I especially enjoyed, truth! Not as busy there when we were there, with everything open and operating for us. Thanks for your TRs and views of where you visited in Finland! * Forgot to ask! Was the all-wooden 'village' still in back of Power Park? It was for a kids' fantasy movie and they kept the set there, afterwards. * And the Take-Off I remember riding there in Sarkanniemi Park, was pretty intense. At least for my "tender age" lol. Taken 6-26-2014. Behind Thunderbird.
  9. A quick question to those who might know... Which (mainly) indoor attraction has the most water in it? Examples: Pirates~Caribbean / Splash Mountain / Small World .... Just curious of me.
  10. .... and .... THIS JUST IN! There was another revival of Sondheim's ASSASSINS recently. And now Broadway Records is releasing the third (along with the original 1991, and the TONY-winning first revival in 2004) cast recording of this musical. Produced Off-Broadway this version had an amazing fist rate cast... More info can be had here https://www.broadwayrecords.com/offbroadway/assassins-the-2022-off-broadway-cast-recording-cd Physical Release on April 15. Digital Release on March 18.
  11. Lyrics ~ "I got hungry eyes..." Sounds intriguing.
  12. Isn't It Ironic ~ Alanis Morissette
  13. ^ Easier to produce onstage than Luca, I'd betcha, lol. (See: "The Little Mermaid" on Broadway. Mermaids on wheelie shoes!)
  14. Well, it was on Wednesday apparently. But for now .... Happy National PIZZA DAY! And a U.S. map was posted online, showing what states liked which kinds/types of pizzas, the best. Thank for the map, "Slice." The way I see it, there is tooo much 'veggie' in the Western U.S. And as for 'Hawaiian' preferred in a few states .....
  15. Since the current Oscar nominations, out of the ten movies nominated for "Best", we saw five of them. Which is a pretty good for us, heh. The Oscars show is on Sunday, March 27th.
  16. I am glad that Coaster @Playland(PNE) got a spot in the top 25 wooden coasters. It definitely deserves to be there, among the other 24. It does not disappoint. But I didn't ride anything other than what was at my home park, last year. Not enough to fill out a poll, IMhO. <sad>
  17. ^ From what I have read and seen of it all, it would be certainly be a better choice of 'transport' for this kind of attraction. Trackless vehicles still need elevators (and such things) to move them up to a higher or lower level. Funny thing is, the old Alice In Wonderland ride in DL, is really a multi level dark ride, still tracked, but manages to go up and down, level-wise. On an angle. Down we go, heading to that Tea Party Finale. Taken Sept.09, 2019.
  18. Hey, we'll buy anything, right? Right?
  19. Chubby Checker ~ The Twist! 'Round and around and around and around and....
  20. ^ On an earlier overhead photo, that green building (here, unpainted) is definitely separate from the main flume attraction. So... who knows? Could be just a power supply building. Power for both the flume and the coaster, there.
  21. This is too f-ing awesome. I <HEART> Randy Rainbow (in New York) for everything he does. And here's another example of his twisted genius.... Enjoy "The Tango: Vaccine."
  22. ^ Oooooo that lift hill's getting so ...... long and ..... erect ...... tall.
  23. ZOOTOPIA construction update. Here's a shot of what can be seen, between The Pooh Ride, and The 7 Dwarfs Mine Train. This will be the entryway (and exit from) into Zootopia, I believe. Photo from the net. Thank you to whoever took this shot. And an overhead shot. And thanks again to "whoever" for taking this shot. It's great! And I still think that the huge building there (orange crane in front of it), is going to house a Test Track-type attraction. IMhO. Same as "Journey..." over in DisneySea. And Radiator Springs Racers in DCA. The system especially works, for speeding up and slowing down (i.e. Zootopia police car chase?). Basically, it's a Disney "Adult Size" slot car racing set, LOL.
