Parks Creating Rides In-house
Nrthwnd replied to Garet's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'd agree with this, and a lot of the Japanese haunt houses and dark rides, too. Homemade, a lot of times totally WTF, and very enjoyable, even though you understood nothing! In a walk through haunt house, with mini-flashlights. Thanks SteveC for the pic of me. TPR 2007 Japan Tour. -

New photos recently posted by disneytouristblog, thank you! The main stage live show bldg. construction. Definite height diff.between it and the Beauty/Beast show bldg. (on the right). Unmistakable turrets from The Beast's castle. The main stage live show bldg.looms behind. New Main Entrance of TDL, current construction. -

^ Actually, I was asking about the "Muskegon, Michigan" that thrillrider posted. Is that the park that existed there, Libertyland? And what ytterbiumanalyst was agreeing about, with that post, in this thread's context? Thank you for this explanation about things. I'm old, and I catch on slow. -
New animated 3D movie opening next March, and I couldn't post it in just the movies thread. See this new trailer - we saw it in 3D, with Ralph 2.0 this afternoon... (movie was great btw).... The trailer's really something. So I am very much looking forward to it's release...... in March. Woo Woo!

We saw Ralph 2.0 this afternoon and it was alright. But.... Has anyone seen this new trailer for a new animated film called ... Wonder Park? OMG I could not believe what was in it all. A theme park fanboi's wet dream, LOL! Here's the link to one of the first trailers....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gQhQVd8AYOo And in 3D too. Coming in MARCH 2019. And yes, I have every intention to buy the Blue Ray ~ 3D DVD, when it's eventually released.

^ Okay. I am curious. What did 'he' do there? And Playland in Vancouver really needs to be converted into a theme park of it's own. Sooner than later, I am hoping. -
Coffee Trail or Path?

A Question.....about next year's new coaster..... Is next year's new racing coaster at the Mountain, the newest mobius coaster, ever built in the USA? I know of a couple over in Europe, one being the wooden racing coaster, Grand National, in Blackpool. And the wooden racing coaster, Montana Rusa, in La Feria Chapultepec Magico, Mexico, is a mobius, too. How many mobius coasters are there still in the world and still operating? Thanks in advance for any answers.

tdrexplorer.com just posted it's own announcement about the hotel, with a location photo c/o OLC (thanks!) as well. This is where the new hotel will go. Where the Tokyo Bay NK Hall is/was. You can just see the Tokyo Bay Hilton Hotel on the right. -
Playland/PNE (Vancouver) Discussion Thread

And now, from the "Dagnabit!" Dept.... Oh well, now we know. Better to find out now, than way into January, I suppose. Sorry to read that they couldn't get their visas in order. Man, now it'll be a long, long way until the next PNE-sponsored event, other than Playland re-opening in late Spring, etc. Grrrrrrrrrr. -

Efteling Discussion Thread
Nrthwnd replied to Pepper's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
We're not going to be back in Europe until April 2022. But until then, I am definitely going to keep Efteling (as well as Walibi Holland) on my List Of Parks to go and visit, when we're first in Amsterdam. And then later on, Paris (Jardin d'Acclimatation) and Disney. There's a carousel in there! And (there used to be) a Water Show, and Miniatures! TPR 2008 Europe Tour. -

^ I read about Portillo's so much before the 2016 WCB at SFMM and Knott's, and then totally forgot about going to the one by Knott's.... Maybe next September, another try to go there? -
Might as well throw it in, here.... If you can get this back copy of Entertainment Weekly, not only do you get Stuff on the upcoming final season of GoThrones, but there's a separate article on upcoming plays and musicals coming to New York, with definite Hollywood connections, etc. And a Musical KING KONG, truth! Worth a read, if you find a copy. Yep, HE's in a Musical on Broadway! With his hunky handlers, too. (o; (Orig. Australian Crew)
