...and with in-city parks, like Tivoli, you also have the advantage of the city itself to enjoy! With probable good night time stuff/events going on, including awesome restaurants, etc. -

Another park suggestion: A lot of in-city parks in Scandinavia are worth visiting. For myself, some of the best in-city parks I have ever been to, in the world! Tivoli in Copenhagen; Linnanmaki in Helsinki; Grona Lund in Stockholm. These are three of the best ones, IMhO. -

As a suggestion for a Europe park to visit: Efteling Park in The Netherlands. Has a good selection of coasters and unique rides all through it. But for myself, it has space to walk through, and not be overwhelmed with rides, etc. And it's landscaping is some of the best in any theme park I've been to, overseas. Maybe you should get into appreciating how a park can be, without it's rides/coaster. You're just 30. Lots of time to alter your perception of parks, and how they can be more appreciated when you get older, and without riding too much. -

Now listening to what I consider a musical masterpiece. And all by Boy George! And Euan Morton is quite remarkable as the Boy. AND Morton's son plays the current title role, in Young Sheldon on tv!

^ It's a really awesome park, and now has a few New Extra Awesome Attractions, since I was last there (2010). Have a great time there. And an eventual TR (of course) would be appreciated. A shot of Black Mamba. TPR 2010 Europe Tour. Myself and Jon with ( ~~~~~~ ) between us. TPR 2010 Europe Tour. -

Actually, I totally forgot! Our Scream Machine from Vancouver's 1986 World's Fair (EXPO86), went to poor, unsuspecting, Six Flags St. Louis. You're welcome SFStL. (Pardon the Relocation Sidebar) -
One of those "off-seasonal questions" (for some of us) I ask here.... Do they ever RACE the two (x 2) Bobsleds on their tracks at - all - any more, in the Matterhorn? Just curious. After finally riding it a few years back, after a few decades+ of not being able to, I remembered it had the potential to do this. So...? Ha! Disney invented the first steel racing coaster (without calling it that) in 1959! I FINALLY got to ride both sides/tracks of the Matterhorn, after 30+ years of "closed for maintenance." (o: Sept.13, 2016 after WCB. And still... Left Side > Right Side. The (now) old sign. There's a new one now, I've read somewhere around here.

^ Oh c'mon, I (and others here probably) would still like to see what you've come up with. All outdoor lighting is great. I'll post mine, when I get my one holiday string up on the porch, LOL!

These all look and sound great! But I assume your display will be a touch more ..... uh..... greater? Looking forward to seeing (and hearing?) what you set up, ho ho!

Great T-shirt Bert! Tis the Season, Kiss, Kiss... I like the shots at night, with some of the big oversized decorations glistening on the walkways from the rain/snow?/drizzle. Any chance you went back to see how those 1/2 lit-3/4 lit ground decorations looked like at night? In daylight, they looked kind of pitiful, mostly lit, but not quite all lit up. Thanks for the TR. Now go have a rum & eggnog! -

Disneyland Paris (DLP) Discussion Thread
Nrthwnd replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I am pretty sure that not "all (the rest of the) Disney parks" will get Magic Bands. Disney Paris deals with people from all over Europe and beyond, so I couldn't imagine the # of language translations they'd have to create on one list, to explain it all. The number of maps I have seen there in many, many languages is something to see on the map racks. The parks in Asia are mostly for the locals (except for some of us lucky out-of-country peeps who get to visit), and I don't think they're going to get MBs any time soon. It's an American (needed) thing, and it'll probably stay with the two U.S. park resorts. Just my opinion, but with Disney, anything can be possible. -

Tokyo Disney Resort will be starting it's 35th Anniversary Grand Finale in the new year. And along with that, TOMICA has come out with a few more toy vehicles to celebrate The End of The Event. These two, along with the others, will be available from January 11th to March 25, 2019. Check out http://www.tdrexplorer.com for more information on these and other souvenirs available next year. Damn, I hate to have to wait that long! Ah well. More eBay listings, eventually. A new (retro) Storm Rider vehicle, for the occasion! A special TDS Transit Steamer for this event, too. I wish the "rainbow effect" on the boat itself, had purple on it as well. (Hmmm. Maybe it's on the back of it.) -
Just saw The Nutcracker, etc.etc. this afternoon. It was ..... okay. Spectacular in 3D and a nice couple of twists near the end of it. But once was enough. And IMAX (we saw it on regular screen) would have hurt my eyes, lol. Ho ho ho. 7/10 Popcorn Boxes
