  1. ^ I love that mini partial-section they're selling, of the Slinky Dog Dash coaster in Toy Story Land! I would buy it too, if I had the chance to, while there. When we're there in .....2024....I'll be sure to check that out. OMG I just realized, I've spent nearly $200 Cdn for all this TOMICA crap. (5 vehicles total) Eep.
  2. TOMICA is also coming out with a new Midtown Cab (in TDS), that somehow has to do with Minnie Mouse, and is called the "Special Version" edition of this toy vehicle. Go figure. I pre-bought one, on eBay of course, lol. (Solstice Gifts to myself.) Available the day after Christmas Day, Go Minnie!
  3. Besides the above, TOMICA is also coming out with a couple more ride vehicles! One is for TDS and the other(s) for TDL: Tea Cups & Flying Carpets, lol! Two little tea cups (like the pair of Doom Buggies) - on wheels! (o: Jasmine's Flying Carpet! On wheels, too! Very nice.
  4. ^ Actually, it looks (now) like a much better set up than before. Took them long enough to figure it out.
  5. I thought they just changed all that configuration, and put the queues more in front of the attraction than around the mountain, like before? I don't think it goes that way any more, as you posted. And I do remember those lines, back in 2016. I need to find posts about that change. Hmmm.
  6. ^ And believe me, there are World's Fair fanbois out there, too. I used to know a few of them, who would travel the world, attending world's fairs, no matter where they were held. That said, I'm sure knowing Tokyo Disney is only a couple of hours' Bullet Train time from Osaka... they'll show up.
  7. Nemesis Alton Towers (Alton, Staffordshire, England, United Kingdom) TPR 2010 UK Tour.
  8. ^ So would be the "Alice in Wonderland" caterpillar ride vehicles, too. Not to mention the ride itself. And IMhO, of the five dark rides past the castle, the three on the right are by far the best of the bunch to me. And then after Alice, you hit the Matterhorn! Both sides!
  9. Most of my cards are finished and mailed.
  10. My only advice, is to have as AWESOME a day as you can, there. And don't stress out too much about how things go, or don't go. If you liked it, and we're sure you will, come back again!
  11. It's TACO TUESDAY! (jingle)
  12. Toast Baked or Broiled?
  13. ^ Mmmmmmmmm ssssssloppy!
  14. Ice Mountain Bobsled Enchanted Forest (Turner, Oregon, USA)
  15. ^ Definitely gone, lol. I wonder if they've also removed all the statuary in the area by now, or if some is still around. The ornate street lights still standing there as well, I see. Thanks for the recent photo, Elissa! Roar?
  16. From the "And now I realize" Dept... I was poking around there and here, and just discovered that Osaka has been awarded the rights of holding a World's Fair there....in 2025. The same year that Tokyo Disney will (hopefully) have all it's major projects and attractions finished, and opened and running, by. Now I realize this isn't "The Main Reason" for Tokyo Disney to add all these new attractions, lands, and hotels when they are. But it's like they were hedging their bets for 2025. Nonetheless, Osaka won the rights, and Disney should get HUGE benefits, from their World EXPO. And Universal Osaka, too. So, Beauty and The Beast "Land" plus Big Hero 6 (and the popcorn place), and Soaring will be ready for the 2020 Olympics. The rest of the Disney Resort will/should be all ready for the world, in 2025, for Japan's World EXPO. So for now, they got two new hotels in the works! Anyone planning that far in advance? Japan's reaction to the selection. But - no, no, not Hello Kitty as it's mascot? How dare Universal!
  17. Flounder's Flying Fish Coaster / フランダーのフライングフィッシュコースター Tokyo DisneySea (Urayasu, Chiba, Japan)
  18. Wonderful report of your first ever visit to Disney Paris. I think i was nearly crying when I first saw that hotel above the entrance of the park, lol. Couldn't believe I was finally there. Glad to read you didn't read up too much on most of the attractions in either park, to make it more of a magical unexpected experience. A correction though - what you called "The Boy Who Cried Wolf" in the Story Book Land cruise wasn't quite right. It's actually the tale of "Peter and The Wolf" which is also a classical musical piece, written for children to understand and enjoy.
  19. ^ That's was I was thinking too, about the upper right hand corner. Very enjoyable. I noticed there are currently several coaster videos in rotation. That's nice.
  20. It's World AIDS Day, today.
  21. Just so you and others know... It's World AIDS Day, today. And now you're aware, too.
