Couldn't Resist Dept..... They have a new scratch ticket up here in Canada. In time for Movember which addresses men's health issues. So I bought one ticket... And EUREKA! Won $8 on a two dollar ticket! My luck for now.

Personally, I think it's better, if you can figure out an extra park day, just to do that, moving through the park, taking in some attractions maybe, but mainly going for the shops, food, atmosphere, and a show perhaps? People thought I was crazy going into HKDL for two-1/2 days. Most of them on the TPR tour just did the one day. It was so much more relaxing to have an extra day to just soak in the atmosphere and try things I might have missed, rushing to one attraction after the other, in some cases. I realize a lot of people and families just can't afford that "extra day". But still, (IMhO) it's worth a try to add one on, if you can. Pardon the sidebar, here.

Good riddance to a A-HOLE who shot up a country western bar in CA, last night. Took his own life. Fine by me. Healing thoughts to those and their loved ones who survived, and those loved ones, close to the ones who didn't make it.

Tokyo Disney Sea is bringing back a park fave for their Holiday Season, on now. A Taste of Christmas is like a mini very mini EPCOT Food & Wine Festival, but only on this one pier there...Pier 33. A favourite rest stop for myself, during past visits to TDS. Like before it will be offering festive drinks (alcohol and non-) and snacks to enjoy the season. But I had to smile when I saw this PR photo of it's set up, posted by http://www.tdrexplorer.com (thank you!). It's obviously a total photo-shop of the pier, with the giveaway being that "barrel" in front. It started me looking everywhere else in the photo. It was all stuck on, that way. I do hope the real thing, now open, looks as good as this "artist conception" does. That barrel looks like it's a sticker! It does! The photo from the 1990's is the one I've had for some time. Thanks for the others you've found, Larry. I am curious as to what "gag" happened in that extended spot, on the right, with a gazebo-like structure around "it"? Added-on in the 1960's from the photos you've posted. Hmmm. Interesting add-on.

I've now bought my train tickets back and forth to LA, and the one way from Fullerton, back to the LA Station. (This is all for next September, by the way. Hoping for a WCB, but if it doesn't happen, still have the parks & hotel to enjoy.) Continuing between LA and Fullerton Station by train (and then a taxi to Knott's), or directly to Knott's Hotel by taxi? I can leave it for a while. Till into the new year, at least. Thanks again ^ for your info. on this. EDIT: I used this site https://www.taxi-calculator.com/ and may have already decided how to handle doing the LA-to-Knott's Hotel segment. (And back then...it would cost us $65+ for the train segment ~we like reserved seating~ and the taxi to the hotel afterwards.)
