  1. Seriously, this store looks like it's a half-day park, lol! So much to look at. And look at. And "maybe" buy. Thanks for the great tour, Robb!
  2. ^ Thanks for this info. If it's around $50-60, that'll be fine. There's two of us to split the cost, and we're saving $ by not taking the connecting train to Fullerton, and the cab fare we'd need to pay from that stn. to Knott's Hotel.
  3. The Name-Logo looks like something from the animated movie musical SING. Truth.
  4. ^ For myself, BLUE = the Maritimes, Scandinavia, The Arctic.... Throw in white supports, and it's pretty "icy" to me, heh. Ocean Park in Hong Kong tried, with their arctic-themed powered coaster. But it's location just didn't work for me. Fish out of water. It's there, somewhere. A lot of stuff in this park, is jumbled together. IMhO. TPR 2012 China Tour. And then there's....The Reversal! (o; Blue Tornado, Gardaland, Italy.
  5. P.Y.T. ~ Michael Jackson And I always get a kick, from Alvin & The Chipmunks showing up, near the very end of it!
  6. Just discovered this online poster for the new Ralph 2.0... love it! It's actually a pretty good poster, representing a lot of Disney/Pixar, so it might be a good find to buy and put up on a wall. Or print. Poor Ralph ~ Everybody's PO'd with him.
  7. Question to anybody who might know this! Me and my partner David, will be coming back to Knott's, Disney and SFMM, including West Coast Bash if it's held next year (Of COURSE it'll be back! I mean SFMM's Racers opening next summer?). That said, I am planning the same way to get down to Buena Park, as I did two years ago. Take the train. And when the train arrives in Los Angeles Station, we will have to wait nearly 1-1/2 hours before our short train ride to Fullerton Stn. Then, we'd take the taxi to the Knott's Hotel, where we'll be staying. And arrive just before 11 pm that night. So The Question is...how much does it (roughly) cost for a taxi trip from there (LA Train Station) to there (Knott's Hotel)? And this will be just after 9pm on a Thursday night. Any answer(s) will be greatly appreciated, as we then consider whether to bypass the extra $ from LA - Fullerton one way, (Fullerton back to LA by train for heading home, we will use) and use it for cab fare, and end up saving over an hour or so waiting to get to our hotel, by train and taxi. (BTW the taxi from Fullerton Stn.to Knott's Hotel, in 2016, arriving near 11 pm, cost me nearly $20 which was fine). My stuff at Fullerton Station, heading back home after a great WCB and Disney visit (2016). I certainly bought my share of Knott's yummy stuff to take home with me. (o: And BTW, these ARE Knott's products. They just can't put their name on them. So Retro! Our Very First Knott's Berry Farm Visit... Me on the left; David (& The Chicken) on the right; Sept.1975. We were so young and silly, in our third year+ of being together.
  8. ^ 400 pounds of candy? "Roughly"??? That is a lot of door knockers, LOL!
  9. Testing my DST time here. Test Test.
  10. Best way I can show where the entrance "might be", is here in this screenshot I got. The Five & Dime is staying, I'm assuming for now. So it's either where that blue roofed bldg. is, or right behind the Five & Dime, or both areas(!) where M&M'sRR entry (and exit?) would/could go. Maybe. Thank you Disneyland, for this partial map of Toontown.
  11. ^ The rumor also says that the likely retail spot to be removed for the new entrance into this attraction, would probably be the Gag Factory Shop. What I read.
  12. I have a weeeee "complaint" about some of the Tokyo Disney vehicles, that TOMICA offers through the years. This is one of many, but mostly the busses, monorails, omnibusses, and the like. But, in TDS, Journey to the Center of The Earth's ride vehicle is not what I would call, worth "flowering up"? Or ...adding "The Minnie Touch" to it? Here's the original, which I own one of, and the 2018 version, for whatever reason I do not care. to Tokyo Disney and TOMICA on this one. Here's the original I own, from the TPR 2007 Japan Tour. Beautiful, and so tiny! This one.....as the Japanese would say....それはたわごとだ (Sore wa tawagotoda). Or, if you're French.....C'est de la merde. IMhO.
  13. omg we nearly ran out of candy, the other night! Note to self(s): get at least 100 more pieces (250-300), subject to change.
  14. NEWS! The past Broadway Season of CDs Is - Not - Over....PART DEUX! Well, it appears the Broadway Season that started last year, has still not ended, just yet! The incredibly SOLD OUT show, SPRINGSTEEN ON BROADWAY, has yielded (surprise!) a CD! And not just a single, but a double CD set. Or 4 LPs, if you're back into vinyl, etc. It'll be available through Amazon mid-December. And this brings that Seasons' CD Offerings up to...lucky old 13!
  15. After Cedar Point, I expect this to be a feature of all your trip reports from here on forward.
  16. ^^ Found it, thanks. I miss Finland. And Sweden. And Denmark. And Norway. And Iceland. Temporary Fun House in Linnanmaki.
  17. "Rant, Before I've Even Seen it Dept..." After seeing the highly repeated "Ralph Breaks The Internet" previews.... ....Why is Queen Elsa there, with all the other Princesses in the room Vanellope ends up in? I know her and Princess Anna are sisters, but so what? Just for the magic trick with her hands? She's a Queen, not a Princess. And shouldn't be there, regardless of the gag(s). A continuity problem. That's what it is.
  18. Just saw A Star Is Born, and we were blown away, both by Lady Ga Ga and Bradley Cooper is his directorial debut. And he sings awesome, too! Must get the soundtrack CD. The movie is intimate and EPIC back and forth. We are old, and are viewers of two previous version of this film, Streisand's and Judy Garland's, the better of these two we feel. This one follows the same path, but modernizes it for today's music, and wow - they nailed it and then some, especially on the concert scenes. We knew the single "Shallow" that had been released. But there was so much more to enjoy, besides that. And Ga Ga was just amazing! Without the glam or the outfits etc. she is raw bones, and freekin' awesome with her voice. The last song left us just stunned. I was an amazing and most welcome change from all the SPECIAL E-FECTS AFFECTS EYE-FECTS' movies that were opening now, and pretty much "the norm" this past year. Heck, we've even been seeing more I-MAX movies because of the glut. More than I can count. So if you want a good music film, this is it. I hope it gets the Oscar Noms for Picture, Director, Actor, AND Actress. Screenplay, too. Nothing is a perfect 10 (IMhO) so.....9.5/10 We also saw previews for "Rocketman" (Elton John bio) and "Bohemian Rhapsody" (Queen & Mercury bio, already open).....WOW-OMG-REALLY???!!!
