  1. ^^ Sorry, but I can't find Puy du Fou anywhere in the RCDB site. And I am curious what it has, in coasters/rides/theming, that you want to visit it? I'm just curious, and I didn't recognize the park's name. That's all. EDIT: I found it. A historical theme park. Neat. Take photos and post a trip report here, when you've been to it!
  2. For those who didn't know... Wicked is celebrating it's 15 Years on Broadway, with a TV special tonight! It actually opened on October 30th, 2003... the night before Halloween! And the original Elphaba and Galinda, Idina Menzel and Kristen Chenoweth, are the hosts! Check your local listings, etc. It's on NBC. EDIT to add: (after seeing it last night) It was an awesome one hour special that I hope they might make into some kind of cd. Adam Lambert's voice (guest) still gives me the right kind of chills, when he hits those high notes. Great special and very moving. And All - Those - Elphabas & Galindas! And then I found this. (o: Universal announced the release date.
  3. The ONLY good BEST coaster I rode this month. Coaster. Playland(PNE). ***My Halloween Wish (yeah, there are those) is for Corkscrew to totally fall apart, after Fright Nights end. Then they replace it with an EL LOCO! On a Fright Night on a past Thursday eve. First train out of the station. I was on the second train, out. (o:
  4. Proud Mary Ike & Tina Turner
  5. Good for them, reopening next year! I hope it's very successful and inspires them to make the park more and more "a park to go to", by locals and everybody else.
  6. Plans are for (besides the home park, Playland)... Disneyland and DCA Knott's Berry Farm SFMagic Mountain and....that's it!
  7. "Don't let the devil ride."
  8. ^ After I see the movie this afternoon, I'm picking up a couple of Teen Burgers from A&W for us, for later. They're good. Probably "not as good as blah blah blah," but they'll do for now. EDIT(6:50pm): Got'em and an order of those onion ring-a-ding-dings, too! The show was really good too. Such a workout for the lead actress!
  9. ^ ....that and finding a place to have a cocktail or three. Good TR on The Mountain. I like it uncrowded there, but not if several coasters are down.
  10. ^ Just a suggestion, but if you can't put either of the cars back together, as new, you might try keeping them outside (do you have a yard where you live?) and put various large outdoor plants in pots, in both of them.
  11. ^ Cool. I know that with a few of our national lotteries, even though a single payout can be, say, 60 million$, but a secondary prize could be a few million too! So that's a nice comfort, even if you have an "almost had every number on it!" kind of win.
  12. Ha! I got a Burger named after me! Sort of... Every year, for Halloween give outs, we try and find some different candy for the kids, and the young-at-heart parents, who dress up with their kids. This year, in addition to chocolate bars, we got a bag of those gummy "foods". This one had an ice cream cone, a sandwich, a hot dog, and of course, a hamburger in the box. Many, many of each one in the box. Like "many many herrings". But on closer inspection I realized each of these gummies were give NAMES, too! And so.... Hot DOUG Ice KIM Cone Sandwich SAM... ...and WILLIAM Burger! Actually, I wished they'd named it Bill Burger, instead. No Matter. It was a good laugh when I discovered it. ..and ME! (o; Yummy Layers of Squishy Rubbery SUGAR! The Other Three.
  13. Seeing the stage-on-screen broadcast of the London production of Funny Girl, tomorrow. Having never see it performed anywhere, this is going to be a treat. And Sheridan Smith, who's portraying Fanny Brice, also took the lead in Legally Blonde:The Musical, over there, too. EDIT (10/27): Saw it earlier, and it was amazing. Never having actually seen it produced onstage, and it was interesting how some of the original production is "left out" in the Streisand film. And Sheridan Smith as Fanny Brice, works her ever loving body/voice off! Amazing physical performance, and although not with "the voice" that La Streisand has, she still sings great, and she works the non-singing part really well. And everybody around her, supports her just as ferociously as she does them. Nick is a bit too "soprano" in his singing voice for me, but that was a minor quibble. Great production, and it would be nice to see some version on this on Broadway...sooner than later. And a rumor has it... maybe Lady Ga Ga? Time will tell tell. Sheridan Smith deserves a well earned Vacation w/Cocktails! (o;

  15. With these kinds of humongous lotteries around, I sometimes wonder what "second place" wins? And in this case, what did the nsecondary winner(s) win in this recent Biggie OMGoodness Lottery? Just curiou$.
  16. ^ That's funny, because in the photos, Thea looks totally laid back. Like she's had a nice snort of cat nip. Very photogenic/pretty cat, by the way. Any photos to show Bosse better?
  17. I would love to get f**ked up with you guys! Great TR, from what you can remember, and the photos, too. Kings Island is a great park to get f**ked up in!
  18. Vilde Mus Bakken (Klampenborg, Sjælland, Denmark) TPR 2014 Scandi Tour.
  19. I can't find your review of it (in the above, it's an elder age thing for me), but how is the Harley Quinn Spinzanity.......ride? The light package on it looks awesome. But the ride on it......? Just thought I'd ask, thanks. I actually find the entire set up of it, and ride cycle as seen in videos, awesome!
  20. "Unusual Way" laura benanti from the broadway revival of "9" i'm in love with this actress.
