When I was a little kid I rode all the carnival rides, once I turned about 12 though I started getting motion sick pretty easily I have somewhat grown out of it, but not entirely, so I never ride anything that spins. Pros: Umm, can't think of any. Cons: Carnies, cost, vomit

I think that some parks like CP will suffer. CP is located about 1 hour from any major population center. And the cities near them have high unemployment rates. Paying for the park, parking and gas is going to hit some people. The smaller local parks should do OK, they are priced much better, and are near enough people to survive. As for Darien Lake, I'll drive to there for opening day from Cleveland. To me, DL is a fun, relaxing park. And priced really good. But Michigan has had economic problems for a while now, and until the last year or 2 the Detroit area was CPs main source of attendance I believe.

Speaking of fire codes, my family was once forced to leave a restaurant at WDW because the huge amount of people violated the fire code

Man, have been to SFOT 3 times, twice Mr Freeze was closed, once it was a 2.5hr wait so I have never ridden this one(have ridden the SF St Louis one) Also seems Superman always has a ridiculous wait

I have been to Knotts twice pre-CF and 0 times post-CF So while I can't comment on how it has changed, I can say the park pre-CF wasn't that great despite me being young and easily amused.

Write them a stern letter, you can surely bring change By the way, I went like 3 days after the Magnum accident and this new rain policy hadn't been implemented. Granted 2 days there wasn't a cloud in the sky, but day 3 they even ran TTD in a very light sprinkle.

The Wednesday after Memorial day 07 the rain came on in the evening and most rides still ran until the lightning came. This was like a week or so after the Magnum accident. They should manually dry the brakes with a hair dryer

I have to say, after roofing for 3 summers, those workers on the cafe went ridiculously overboard with the use of toe boards

No ride is overrated...just because some people like certain things doesn't mean everyone else feels exactly the same.

Cedar Point is much better IMO, but KI has Son of Beast...NUFF SAID!!!

Indeed you missed out not riding Maverick, IMO it is the best ride in the park(and my #1 overall coaster) Raptor is also very good, sad to hear Mantis scared you off, it is a crappy ride, almost entirely because stand up coasters are a terrible gimmick.

Jesus people I really don't think the NAME of a ride deserves so much criticism.

It is a pain to walk all the way back there if you want to ride it, but I guess they think it is best to place all pay per ride attractions together. Its location might also be related to trying to get people to go to both Soak City and Cedar Point since it is essentially in between.

God now that I look back on my time at WWW, it is even worse than I first thought.

Iron Wolf, Mantis, etc... Both stand ups. Stand ups are an uncomfortable fad. You really don't see any bad sit down B&Ms. Some are better then others obviously, but even an average B&M is going to be better then most of the competition. I know, just being a smartass Stand ups ARE the dumbest gimmick in the history modern of roller coasters.
