  1. Six Flags New England and Holiday Park. These two parks hold two fabled coasters that I just have to experience. I've heard and seen too many things to not believe that they aren't everything they are cracked up to be. On the other hand, as a park overall though, I'd really like to go to BGT and IOA. They just look like a lot of fun, and for how many times I've been to Florida, I still can't believe I've never experienced either.
  2. Back in '03, a friend of mine bought one of your dvds and we watched a bit of it before heading out for a few parks. I checked out the site when I got back and kept up with it. I started to get really into it in '04 and then the boards started and I signed right up.
  3. 2005- Cedar Point, Millennium Force Ride Op. Also was fully trained on Wildcat, Raptor, Turnpikes, and Mantis. It was a good experience and I learned a lot, but I'll never do it again.

    Braces

I actually think a better question is who hasn't had braces? I feel like an oddball at times 'cause I never have. I always thought everytime I went into the dentist they were going to say I needed them ('cause everybody else in school did), but they always told me I had excellent teeth. I to this day get comments on having nice teeth. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to say I'm the balls, just sayin'... glad I haven't had braces.
  5. ^Yeah, I know right? Unfortunately, you're right, they wouldn't do it. Every time TTD rolls back, they have to call it into Park Op and reset the ride, which all takes like 10 minutes each time. The secret to having a roll back is sending a full train for a little bit and then a much lighter (empty/half-empty) train. Unfortunately, if you've ever been on the last ride of the night on TTD, the ride ops actually pull people off the midway to come up and fill empty seats so that the ride doesn't roll back.
  6. I campaign you drop "A Fallen.." and just call yourself Artificial Flavor. That's what I would have named my band if I had started one. Well, I was in the band, but it already existed. I was just asked to be in it. Anyway... A Fallen Stranger A Fallen Cry I don't know, I'm drawing a few blanks
  7. I'm not a huge follower of baseball, but when I do watch it or pay attention, I'm a huge Brewers fan, if that makes sense. If they are on, I'll root them on like no tomorrow. They were my first MLB game so I've stuck with them, even after trading my favorite players (which is a bit big for me seeing how I'm not huge into the game). Overall, I absolutely love going to games, but I really just struggle to stay entertained when watching it on tv. It's a game with a lot of downtime which is a real downer for tv.
  8. I'm 20 years old and I have no idea what I want to do in life. No one has ever sat me down and tried to help me figure out what I might want to do. Instead, they've always either done absolutely nothing or pushed one thing on me that I have no interest in. I feel like I'm so screwed right now because I have no idea what I want to do in life, I'm at a school that I don't really want to be at (in my hometown), and I have a low gpa which makes it difficult to leave. I'm really a bit miserable right now but I'm not really sure where I would like to go, or if I'll even get in there. The real trouble though is that I don't know what I want to do. I'm going to start losing a lot of money soon because I'm a sophomore and I'm still switchin' majors. That's just my problem right there. I'm too money focused, as much as I hate to be. I'm not exactly poor, but I'm by no means well off. Ever since my parents split, they've kinda struggled to make ends meet. Well, one of them has. Since I've always struggled to get the things that I have or want to do, I'm to focused on making lots of money and being able to support children (but not spoil), family, and self. I'm not talkin' filthy rich, but not having to worry about payin' the bills. Livin' comfortably. Having a nice car, a nice house, taking yearly vacations, stuff like that. I know this all sounds shallow and thats what I hate. But for some reason, I can't get it out of my head long enough to find something that I really want to do. I never aspired to have a real career when I was younger. Until I figure out what I really want to do, it's going to be hard to pick a school that is good for me that I'll enjoy and be really successful at. OK, so yeah, I'm not exactly mad about anything. Just really confused and frustrated. I feel your pain QuakerOaties.
  9. I never really had one set hero. I had a few 'cause there were a lot of things I liked... Dale Jarrett- Nascar driver, though I don't care for Nascar anymore Al Unser Jr.- Indycar driver Scott Stephens- Monster truck driver. Yeah, laugh all you want Calbert Cheaney- IU basketball player that went on to play in the NBA Greg Moore- Indycar driver
  10. Yeah, I remember that day. It actually happened in May too during morning testing. I worked on MF over the summer and one morning I heard a call go out over the radio to one of the maintenance guys in the station to head over to TTD. He ask why and the person said "look at it." So I walked out of the station and took a glance to find the train perfectly on the top hat. It was so crazy to actually see in person.
  11. Red Bull! I actually wish they made a regular soda that had the same taste 'cause over the years I've really grown to like. If I'm not really tired, then I usually will just stick to Mountain Dew.
  12. Yeah, I definately understand what you mean about the hill. The ride was awesome, but there's that hill out of the tunnel that doesn't really have much of an effect. No real airtime or anything, its just there. Still an awesome ride. And, I'm with you Elissa, Cyclops doesn't get nearly enough recognition. I had bruises on my waist from the seatbelt. What an insane ride. I know! It's been a month since I rode them and I still don't know how to place them. They both just come at you like a one-two punch and leave you saying "wow"! I thought Avalanche was more intense, but Hades was just crazy in it's own way.
  13. Yeah, I know Bloomington, IN has a no smoking ban. I think it might actually be a statewide thing. I'm not really sure.
  14. Well, my official first car was my Grandpa's Mercury Sable when I was fifteen. However, the first car that I personally bought was a 1992 Ford Thunderbird.
  15. I. It's a fun ride, but it really is a maintenance nightmare. That thing gives CP a lot more trouble than a lot of people realize. Not to mention, I have faith that they'll replace it with something that won't disappoint.
  16. Robb's face in the Avalanche picture pretty much sums up that ride. I really hope more people get out there to ride it because it is insane. I can't rant and rave enough about how awesome Avalanche is. The thing just never loses speed and flies around the track.
  17. Here's where I live (when I'm not in school). The red Honda would be mine.
  18. Sell Michigan to Canada
  19. They literally just up and closed ours. The employees showed up at work one day and saw a note saying the place was closed. It's too bad 'cause I really like that place. Just a little overpriced though. Nevertheless, their strawberry limeades are amazing.
  20. American Pie. I'm all about the comedies, though I'm not close-minded. Here's my top ten: 1. American Pie 2. Road Trip 3. American Pie 2 4. Finding Nemo 5. Butterfly Effect 6. Basic 7. A Knight's Tale 8. Cool Runnings 9. Blast From the Past 10. Collateral
  21. ^Is waiting for me to pull up my blinds so he can continue staring at me V Favorite movie is Glitter
  22. "Reasons Why" by Nickel Creek
  23. Demon Drop is actually quite the maintenance nightmare as well. That thing breaks down like its it's job, so it's not a huge surprise that they want to get rid of it. It has seen quite a bit of downtime this year. I am a big fan of the ride and all of the other 1st gens, but I know its a troublesome ride, and I'm sure they'll replace it with something worthwile.
  24. I can't say for sure, but I would say because of space. They don't really have anywhere to put queues in that area. Not too mention, if you cram a bunch of queues together right on the midway, line jumping problems will be insane. Those are my guesses.
